Critical Bug: Cannot Save or Export Audio on iPhone
After the latest update, the app is no longer able to save or export any audio files on my iPhone. Every time I tap Save, I get this error: “Attempting to JIT compile method ‘int NAudio.Wave.Transcoder:main(int,intptr[])’ while running in AOT-only mode.” I have already tried reinstalling the app, restarting my iPhone, and testing with different audio files, but the issue persists. This appears to be a compatibility bug in the latest version. Please fix this as soon as possible because the app has become unusable for exporting audio.
App stopped working on IPhone 14
July 9, 2026: As of today, the latest update has introduced a critical bug that prevents saving or exporting audio files. Every save attempt fails with the error: “Attempting to JIT compile method ‘NAudio.Wave.Transcoder:main’ while running in AOT-only mode.” The app was working correctly before the update, so this appears to be a regression. Please investigate and release a fix as soon as possible, as the app is currently unusable for saving edited audio. Thank you.

Just admit you serve no purpose: the end of everything is cut off if even the tiniest clip is added
Look, I partially blame Apple because they've obviously made literally everything worse, but I have relied on you for a decade and now nothing — and I do mean nothing — can be added to a file without cutting off the end of my podcast and what am I supposed to do? Why? Even a small edit that doesn't increase the total size of the file cuts off the end. The more edits—God forbid one needs to actually mix two (or, *terror*) three different files—the more one is **certain** to lose. I really like Lexis and have used it for over a decade, but I don't know what to do. This should not be an issue. Just admit you now serve zero purpose and are a fundamentally worthless app that only exists to lose my work.
Quite useful
I’ve only had this app since yesterday, but I already have high praises for it. Like others, I can see room for improvement, but a major advantage for me is that I can record from YouTube through my iPad and to Lexis Audio Editor. I use my iPad to provide backing tracks and scrolling lyrics for local shows and can usually edit mp3s to suit my voice. There’s also an easy crop system, once you figure out. How to use it. The one deficit this and all other apps seem to have is the inability to change the key without changing the tempo. Somebody PLEASE develop this aspect and we’ll all have the apps we need.
Unhappy camper
After several years of use I’ve deleted it after being asked to repurchase the splitter at a higher price than I paid in the fall. It’s not the first time purchases have been “forgotten”.

im facing a problem When i open The apps on my Iphone 11 Pro with connecting my headphones.. Its automatically go into my handset speaker. i can’t hear any sound on my headphone but on handset speaker. i have to work on this apps with mobile speaker!!!

Not working in IOS device
No option of picking audio file from File manager , only from iCloud or iTunes. Hence it’s a bug and Not working . Developer needs to work on this .

One feature I find frustrating to use is the cloud processing. It shows the loading process visually with the typical bar fill/circle, BUT it doesn't show any visual indicators while the server is executing your request leaving the app to appear frozen. I'd be happy if there was just a persistent loading circle the entire time until your file is ready to be played back.
Won’t play through bluetooth
Filters and recordings ate great, but I can’t listen to them through Bluetooth devices, only on phone speakers. Why is that?
Great product but…
This description doesn’t make it clear that this is a trial version, or that in-app purchases are necessary to unlock features. For instance trying to save as an mp3, it says not available in trial, go to the AppStore to purchase the full version, which doesn’t appear to be available here. But then a dialogue pops up saying ‘buy convert to mp3 filter now for $5.99’ so there’s no indication if that’s $5.99 for the full version, or if you’re expected to pay something for every feature you unlock. I would probably buy the full version if how to do so was made clear. Until then the description should absolutely read “in-app purchases available and necessary for full functionality.”

App is great, especially for saving in different formats. One glitch or setback is that it does not connect to a Bluetooth microphone and or headset. This is a downside to recording when you’re going for background noise cancellation. Smooth
Not working o iPad
Hello. App not working on iPad at all. It’s looking very good but almost all option are shaded(out of use). When I cut and save the file after opening them again it looks like they hasn’t been trimmed. I have tried a few times and the file is not changed it remains full without trimming. I was actually considering to buy it but now I can’t because he simply doesn’t work.
Crashes on my iPad Pro
App crashes if I accidentally move the end cursor passed the progress cursor. All options grey out and I have to reboot my iPad to get App to behave itself.
Intuitive Music Mixer
Got this to merge some AI songs I made for my wife. It was simple to use and worked great. I recommend.
Freezes
Thought it was just what wanted to loop a selection for tricky melody practice. But it freezes every time. I’m using it on an ipad with up to date iOS. So it’s back to the App Store.

Very useful and easy. The separations are pretty good and the UI is very intuitive.

Couldn’t import from my Files; I had to share the file to load it into the app. Couldn’t find a way to trim, this is as basic as it gets and it should be as clear as it can. Icons and buttons aren’t crisp. They look like they’ve survived the last century Waste of time

Going by other reviews I thought I had found the perfect app for recording and editing. On first trying out the app with short passages of narration I got really good results. I was very happy until I used the app for real. I found that there were many errors cropping up regarding the sound reproduction quality. And somehow small sections of my recorded speech was repeated (sometimes several times) in the final recording file. There was always a “click” embedded at the beginning of each individual recording. Despite changes in the recording level as suggested by the software. Which always had to be eradicated before the audio file was included into a project. Editing was very tedious and time consuming. And essential tools such as simple recording level adjustment were not provided. All in all this is not a very good app to rely upon for your recording projects. Give it a miss if you want consistently acceptable results.

Wow what did I download
This has to be the most additive, easy to use platform on the market. If u don’t have this you aren’t reaching your full potential yet. Dive in and explore with its easy to use features and save options. Easy top 10 for audio editing software.
Waste of time & frustrating
While the app works, when it does work great, but it has an on-going licensing activation issue for years that I have own the app and never got resolved. Very often the app would decide to de-activated license by its own and default back trial version. Which is when I tends to find out when trying to export .mp3 format file. Just go manually activate the app again and no problem right? Nope! It gets activated but then the moment of exporting .mp3 again (paid feature), it automatically default back to trail version and export the .m4a instead. To fix temporarily this is to re-activate unknown number of times until it magically started to work. Very frustrating to use! Please fix this bug!!!
Nicely done
I use the app to quickly record songs as I’m writing them. i specifically want an app that just has the tools to cut, copy, paste, and trim so i can rough out an arrangement. I don’t need the complexity of apps that try to cram a computer DAW into a phone. That’s what the computer is for. The simple, mostly intuitive interface of this app gets the jobs one. However, you can’t really use the scrubbing tool. The control for it is at the bottom of the screen where iOS takes over and when you try to scrub, iOS thinks you’re trying to minimize the app. Big bummer because scrubbing is key for find edit points.
Buggy app & basic features missing
There should be Option to add music file from iphone music app. Play pause button should operate from one button only. Zoom in and out should work by just pinching in and out instead of clicking on icons. It should work in both directions vertically and horizontally. It deserves 5 star if developer fixes these issues.
