What people like
- Great for playing YouTube videos in the background
- No ads if you pay for premium features
- Simple interface that is easy to understand
What they complain about
- Ads are too frequent and hard to close
- Videos often fail to load or show black screen
- App crashes frequently or stops working unexpectedly
- Background playback sometimes stops when switching apps
Really solid!
Does exactly what it does and I haven’t encountered any bugs yet! The ui can be a bit crowded at times but its still does what it needs to do well
Needs a major update
This app used to be one of my favorites and now it is becoming more like an annoyance; there will be days where I will have to force close the app like 4+ times because it was not working. There are times where I literally have to do a soft reboot by shutting my phone off and relaunching the app. Also, why are the playlist limited at like 300 videos; when YouTube has playlists in the thousands+ Overall this app is just a mess but I know nothing is going to change because the whole force closing method has been repeatedly stated by the developer(s) on other reviews for years here; which just adds another layer of annoyance.
Good!

Great app
Thank you for this app, 10/10.
Only works intermittently.
Constant issues with this app, but it’s the only one that does what it does so…
不支持通过VPN使用
大陆用户不能直接使用，需要借助VPN，但是partytu不支持绝大多数的VPN所用的协议，包括shadowrocked支持的多种协议，希望能改进，谢谢！

Having network issues
I have been having unstable network issues for some reason for a few days which won’t let me play videos just skip them need to know what I need this fixed already
Take long time to play the song
The apps took long time to load the song and sometimes not responding at all. And will stop when open other apps such as FB, IG.
Not working (SAME THING HAPPENING AGAIN!)
This app works most of the time but the past week no videos have worked. I’ve deleted it, redownloaded, even restarted my phone, I’ve done everything, but still not working. Each time I click on a video, the screen is black then it skips to the next one in the queue. Pretty frustrating, not sure what’s going on. Usually the app works fine.

Nothing Works At All.
Used to love this app but even with force restarting the app twice, the music won’t load. And every time I try to reopen it to see if it works yet, it’s just ads ads ads ads ads having to sit through them just to see if the force close and restart worked. I can’t even enjoy music on this app anymore. Nothing works.
Similar to YouTube
This app is similar to YouTube and, that’s what makes it awesome. The fact that I can connect my YouTube/Google Account and play whatever video I want in the background, makes this app seriously useful and worth to keep it.

Not working anymore?
The app is loading and all the videos seem to be there but when I click on any none of the videos load or play, really sad since I use this app daily!
非常耗流量的音乐软件，希望越来越好
网络差点就很难播放，还有时候app会崩溃无法播放
Love it
I can finally listen to my playlists without the commercials
App isn’t working and it’s full of ads
Kept prompting users to log into YouTube as an attempt to resolve issues. Once logged into YouTube, app still failed. Tons of ads. Used to be good but now I’m deleting it
Please add speed change!!!
Needs speed change
Cannot connect most of my download songs
I had download some songs but it seem like unable to play
App only works on wifi
App doesn’t work on cellular data all the time have too use wifi other than that it’s a great app too use
I love this app only one problem needs fixing
Whenever you trying to watch a video, it’s black nothing shows up needs a huge fix
Doesn’t play any videos anymore
Tried to tell them about it. It’s just automated gibberish every time.
Unable to search
Tried to re install, but unable to search any video/ song
Too buggy
I like this app, but I don’t you have to pay for basic functionality, and I really don’t like how buggy it is. Whenever a video is playing, and I skip to the next one or click another video, it consistently takes a solid 30 seconds to change. It even shows the title of the video I clicked as if it’s playing, but the actual changing of the video lags way behind. Also, if for whatever reason, the app can’t load the ad it’s attempting to, the app basically doesn’t function. Good start, but the devs have a long way to go. I honestly don’t care about themes and the other weird things this app does. Especially if it’s unstable to a degree that makes it nearly unusable.
music not playing out of app?/more playlist space
just that. the music sometimes stops playing when you have the app on in the background. also wish you could put more than 300 videos in a playlist
Working again!
Playback issues have been resolved. Amazing app! Thanks.
App won’t open
App can’t even open after the latest major maintenance
Love this app
Thanks guys
Too many Ad
Tons of Ad
App crushes after updated to the latest version…
Updated 2024/5/29 Receiving an email from developer mentioned issues has been solved. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling again. Unfortunately, it still crushed. iOS 12. I loved this app so much and used it for such a long time. But I can’t open it in one of my old phone anymore after updating to the latest version. Please help!!
Great App!
Been using this app for years, highly recommend!
Used to be a good app…
Until the ads came in. Ads that cannot be closed, rendering the app completely unusable.
Noice
Better than the other apps out there of this type
for what..
why did u randomly remove to feature to add the same song to a playlist multiple times 💀💀 there was literally no reason to do that, put it back!
Some feedback
First things first, thanks for your team and this product. But I have to say maybe this app can do some improvement on power consumption or something like that because I feel like the phone power is consuming fast. Maybe you can make a choice between “only play sound” and “play video”(maybe I did not find that button?) Finally, good app with good animations and features. Thanks a lot.
