Pay to play
This game is pay to play, it’s set up so you lose as a grinder. The pricing is insane and the same bugs from 10 years ago are still there. Like zombies still being able to hit you even though your 30 feet from them, even the spiked fence issue where you still get poked just from walking next to them. Having to restart the game and losing items due to their in game pop ups. Dying in an area and your body not being there when you return. 10 years and these simple issues haven’t been fixed.

Great game but very unfair rng and rigged economy
I love this game and I’ve spent almost 50 dollars on it over the years so I feel in my right to be a little critical. My main gripe is how ridiculously low the durability is for the guns in this game given how much of a challenge they are to find. But I think it’s main problem is the rng, for example I spent and entire evening as well as 7 guns clearing bunker alpha on hard mode which I don’t think the devs realize how much of a colossal effort it is to do. After cashing in a floppy disk and heading to the coordinate drop the game thought it was fair for the box to give me single Glock which actually felt like a slap to the face. This isn’t a matter of bad luck as it happens often, in fact I think it’s designed to be the likeliest scenario which makes me feel like I’m playing a rigged game. I also think the increased acid and air filter requirements for opening infected and sunken boxes is unfair, again, given how much of an effort has to be made to get these items. I think needing only 1 air filter and 1 acid vial was already tough but fair. Please understand that I hold a very high regard for this game, but I don’t want to have to spend an unhealthy amount of time on it just to be able to progress.

Game design hypocrisy
So i am trying to build the chopper but there are 2 parts which are locked because they are premium it’s been days i keep playing this game but i can’t get those parts from anywhere- guess what after observing it I realize I can only get those parts and play further if i spend 20$ on in app purchases that’s really unfair, IAP should be used for privilege in the game not for basic needs. This is big game design hypocrisy… I really love this game, art and HIC rules are implemented beautifully, I didn’t expect this!

after the latest update, version 1.51.1, the game won’t start. It crashes while loading the game. iPhone 14 Pro.
Don’t endorse this company they simply create money grabs
This game has so much potential, but the devs simply only care about your pockets, exclusive events priced at £30 pounds with INSANE loot, removing things that help progression, adding them somewhere for a price. 3x3 rooms with maxed walls for £160 which if you’ve played a little you’d know how crazy that shop is, just dont even get it in your head, your money is better off with you.
What happened to this f game
I swear this game has gotten much harder than before what the hell does it mean I have to have things that look like I need to go through the Vietnam war and why do zombies like the toxic abomination do thousands of damage that’s all but still what happened

I'm happy to see there are updates towards making the game easier because I've downloaded and deleted this game countless of times because of how frustrating it is to level up and loot places and wait for the energy to go back up. but the plane crash site is much closer now. nothing overwhelming abt the map and the game guides you. thanks

They block you for reasons with no explanation
Second update Aug 28, 2026: Get the game “DAYS AFTER:SURVIVAL” instead. Better graphics anyways. Today is August 28. I played this morning at around 5:30 am. I went to the store with my mom at around 6:30 am. It is now 8:56 am. And I got a notice that my account is blocked for violating paragraph 8. It doesn’t even tell me what paragraph 8 entails. So, I don’t know why my account is blocked. And you guys also didn’t help me with my issue the other day. So,I’m leaving a 1 star review and I’m changing my review on the app store also. Detailing all of this as well. —————————— Update Aug 26, 2026: I’m changing my review from 4 stars to 1 star because Helen from Kefirgame Support stopped responding to me when I have an issue. And it’s still an issue. I contacted them August 26, 2026 at around 9:17 am CENTRAL time. And hours after still no response. Do better tech support. ——————- First I want to say, I’m an actual consumer leaving this review. Finally!! A developer who listens to the consumers. An actual zombie game where you build, design, and fight zombies. Not like those other games where it’s just preset on where the buildings go with stupid story lines. I’m only giving 4 stars because there are some things that can still improve in this game. Here are some of my thoughts: 1. Zooming function in the actual game, not just edit mode. 2. Quicker edit mode. Rather than one item at a time. 3. Being able to label the storage boxes so I can know exactly where to go to grab things. Better for organization purposes. 4. Auto loot on corpse These are the things so far that I can think of but I’m sure the developers are already have something in the works.
Still glitched
It’s fun but sadly it’s still glitchy was building a boat and it went invisible. But other then that it’s an addictive game
Good game but 90% pay to play
Like the game but ive been watching the company restrict items for far too long so they can charge people. Also when raiding a base and dying to zombies you cant go back to get your gear… I Lost everything for what!? You used to let players go back but nooo. Why do that when you can just offer loot boxes.

I missed this game so much, it gives you a lot for a survival game but not enough to say “this is too easy”. What a classic game I remember playing this when I was like 10

Игра очень крутая , играю лет 6(может больше) , жалко конечно что с разных аккаунтах играл. Обновления правда очень крутые и я бывает прям очень долго зависаю в этой игре, особенно осознаешь это ,когда бывает забрасываешь игру на какое то время. Плюсов у игры очень много , но все же хотелось бы только 1-го , чтобы добавили вертолет . Я думаю вертолет ждут очень много игроков и я в том числе , помню когда добавили его в крафт , но скрафтить его так и нельзя к сожалению.
Unplayable event
In five years of playing and participating in most events, the "dog breeder" has never received a dog with the "Loyal Friend" ability. Such a dog can only be obtained for a very large donation or if you're a blogger in this game. But the scammers and fraudsters from Kefir don't mention this anywhere and are misleading thousands of players worldwide.

The new 1.50.0 mod is awfull. It blocks access to a full quadrant of you home base by putting the debris there and making them extremly expensive to remove. Who asked for ts
Restarting game
I love this game so much but it used to be so much easier to restart the data and game but now i've been trying for hours and following the steps needed and it just won't let me whatsoever trued in setting, tried in game nothing works

Its a good update either way new locations and loot to farm but the recourses to open the crates arent worth it the only crate ive seen that is worth it is oak logs and the glock crate everything else you dont get enough materials worth to open and go there please could you increase loot of these crates or make it cheaper to open 5 wrenches for 1 crate is too much

So I personally love the game, not a hater at all, and played it for a long time on different devices, but there’s this bug where it doesn’t let me start a new acc, each reinstall and reconnect to Game Center or kefir ID or anything, it keeps getting me into the same account.

Not for casual gamers
It’s a fun game but if you want to reach any of the more difficult locations you will need to buy actual gear and resources. It’s a “pay to win” game.
Great game poor mechanics
I’ve been playing on and off for a decent amount of time and the 1st thing that put me off the game is the equipment durability is a joke this could easily be fixed and balanced as it takes time or energy to move to different places so the gameplay is already slow/grindy enough to enjoy so why dose the equipment have the durability of a wet noodle and takes so much to make same with attachments even tho some older players still struggle to find some of the good BP also everytime I come back there’s new content which is great but there dosent seem to be any balance changes to keep new or existing player on the game like to build a stone wall it takes probs about 2 hours of game play to get the raw mats and refine them yet alone metal walls Just a side note why is it in a poi like bunker Alfa if you die and die again your first body is gone I get normal ones like pine woods but main poi shouldn’t work like that

Not possible to restart the game
Is it really that hard to add a restart button?? You literally can’t start a new game on iOS And I can’t continue, because I don’t have a radio. I’m stuck. Live support is 0 out of 10.

Its fun to kill zombies and all but you could make somethings more cheaper and one thing that is pretty annoying the stamina on the map to get around
Too time intensive.
I played for 2 days in my free time. It was actually quite good. Then on the third day I saw a zombie horde was approaching. So I spent my free time gathering resources and crafting the only trap available to me; some spikes. Came back the next day to find half my base destroyed. Spent all my free time fixing it, and only got about 2/3rds done. Saw there was another zombie horde coming as well. Next day more than half my base was destroyed. Not only that but yet another zombie horde was already on its way. I quit. I am not able to spend enough time playing to keep up with such an absurd demand. Disappointing really, because other than that it was actually quite enjoyable.
Pay to win issue
I’ve played this game for years on and off but sadly it’s become just a pay to win activity at this point. Progression without spending money is pretty much impossible unless you have more free time on your hands than 90% of the planets population. It’s such a shame that a game that genuinely has the potential to be no.1 absolutely everywhere has been ruined by the need for real money to advance further than a basic survivor Again I actually really love this game so if you have the spare cash to throw at it I’d encourage anybody to try. Sadly for someone who’s been playing forever but doesn’t have that kind of disposable income, I’m unable to really do anything other than wait for energy and get my base destroyed by zombies daily

After a long time without playing this games and lots of changes of phone I lost progress but the game still being the same as I remember when I was 9 and still have the same essence
Lost of progress and bad customer service
So i have been playing for a while now and i recently tried purchasing stuff in game but recently its been difficult to even progress like last night since I wasn’t so busy i grind for at least 6 hours went for an hour break to eat came back then all the progress was gone tried reaching to customer service and they just closed my ticket. Hoping to get a real response if you really want players to invest i this type of game at least make sure they are taken care of
I love this game but hap a major set back
Well I have all of my progress on my phone which broke and pretty sure was about 3 years old and the progress to but would recommend if you know what you are doing. I lost over 7 ak-47’s and 13 m16’s from bunker bravo so be smart. Time to restart
Gold digging game
no chance to play with out mega money

so, it’s a very good game it’s; fun, adventurous, and not repetitive. but, i’m into building the chopper and it tells me to go to the farm, seems simple. so i go to the farm, struggle etc, and i get to the barn after ages and get my hands on 2 handle bars (yay! go me!), and that’s when i see the chest cutting thing. seems simple right? wrong, every zombie comes to you which is fine until you die with everything good, so i come back with some every good guns, anddddddd i died again. and having enough of that i use the restore feature, i get my 3 guns back, and i wipe out the rest of the zombies, thats it right? nah i go look for my body, and its gone? everything is gone? no graveyard icon, no body anywhere, and i had all my good items on me which just disappeared after using the restore button. why? is it a bug? who knows
Stole money from me when I asked for help
I’ve had an account for years that had hundreds of dollars in. I noticed my account looked hacked after logging in for a while. I messaged kefir asking for help. They told me account needed to be deleted and to send All receipts and id get reimbursed on new account. After deletion and I messaged them. They gave me run around for days and told me they weren’t going to help
A waste of time.
Connection issues every minute, items degrade faster than a teenagers first relationship, micro-transactions everywhere, confusing ui, easy to die in the game and unfair. Money money money typical p2w slop.

Wasted potential
Amazing fun system and concept with poor balancing. Weapon durability is dumb, considering you save empty soup cans “recycling everything” why wouldn’t you get a “broken gun” that could be repaired on the cheap at your home base. Online zombie raids are overpowered and should be more beatable. And they system for keeping raids away forces you to be actively engaged on the game multiple times a game to fuel the witch totem, so you can’t take a week off and come back to your progress, instead you come back to a raided base and have to start from scratch, which makes it an instant uninstall when you are a normal human who isn’t spending every hour on a phone game.
Could be the best game on the App Store but…
You can’t play it for any longer than 10 minutes before you have no energy, it’s extremely infuriating because I could sit here and play it all day. It’s the same reason why I stopped playing it the first time round a few years ago. I downloaded it again thinking surely they’d have done something about it considering how many people complain, but obviously not, MTX first right devs? Regardless, I’ll keep playing until the limited amount of playtime inevitably makes me forget that the game even exists and I’ll probably see you again in 3 years time.
