Scanner Gran
I have scanned for Nielsen for many years. It’s a short task I undertake as I unpack my shopping. I like accumulating points to get a voucher from the reward catalogue. I can use this to purchase something I need or desire a real reward.
App button will not respond
I keep trying to redeem rewards the button will not let me
Added Addition Stores
This App is really useful and being rewarded for using it is brilliant. The disappointing thing is not being able to add more stores. It used to be really easy, but not any longer. I followed the normal processes and had a last resort telephoned twice. On one occasion the worker took all the details but they never appeared. I phoned again and was told it would be reported but still no change so now I just add the ones there and no longer try to add more.
Not the brightest or the best.
Lost all my favourite stores. An absolute slog to put them back. Won’t find anything by postcode, points me to stores that have closed down. Do better.

I love this app, it’s so easy to scan everything you buy whether taking the items home or eating out and about, fab way to get cash back, I’m saving mine for Xmas when I can use it towards my Xmas food.

So far it’s too early to tell whether the reward voucher will work, so let’s see! I also wish there was a much faster way to enter receipts, especially receipts with many items like Coles.
Fewer vouchers
I honestly loved this app at first but now the app seem useless to me because I have to scan all shopping every week just to get the most worthless vouchers don’t even have enough varieties to pick from just a waste

A great scanning app
Lovely app. I love that aside my weekly scanning I also get extra points. It would have been better if the maximum wasn’t £200 for me.
do not use unless you want to be cold called
Started using the app, but didn't use it for two weeks due to personal circumstances and then I started getting calls from them multiple times a day (3/4 times) some with hold music, some silence and some with someone asking my why i haven't used the app recently. It took me 6 times of asking to not be called again for them to listen. not worth the hassle.

The look and feel of the new upgrade is very good, however an app that was working great for years is now broken it gets stuck and new purchases / scans don’t get registered. It’s become very frustrating to use

Es ist total blöd, dass jede Woche trotz erfolgter Erfassung die Meldung kommt, die Datenerfassung durchzuführen. Und das schon seit Jahren! Warum wird das nicht geändert? Die Hotline tut das einfach so ab. Wir nehmen das sehr ernst!

I’ve been doing this for a couple of years now, you simply scan your shopping. In return you get 90p a week, then a monthly bonus and then a quarterly bonus. Plus there surveys. I cash my rewards in for Amazon gift cards and have used them to buy gifts, gardening tools and this week a water bathing kit to do my apples and tomatoes.
Too fiddly
Just downloaded the app as our daughter in the USA has something similar. However, this app needs every item purchased to have its barcode scanned. Too much of an effort for the reward offered. App deleted, I’m not that desperate.

Never received gift card after redeeming points.
First of all, for the amount of points you get it’s not worth the time it takes to scan each individual item and price it. Meaning, if you do a full shop of 100 items, that’s 100 scans and price information needed. The time it takes to do that, for every shop you do within a week, makes it not worth the points you receive. On top of that, gaining extra points through surveys is almost none existent. The nail in the coffin with this app is when I got enough points to redeem a voucher and I never received it. I feel as though the app scammed me for my data.

Ottima app veramente bella,utile e facile da utilizzare. Purtroppo però da qualche settimana a questa parte durante la registrazione dell’acquisto l’app si chiude improvvisamente creando disagio perché si deve procedere nuovamente a registrare lo scontrino. Altra pecca consiste nel non poter registrare più scontrini consecutivamente perché come dicevo prima l’applicazione si chiude improvvisamente

Absolutely aweful….if u dont scan they call u non stop till u do. I thought scanning was optional but its not. And if u dont scan then they ring u asking why your not scanning. Absolute waste of time. Every single week they called me unless i scanned

Die App ist sehr kompliziert zu bedienen und auch an den Kiosken haben die Mirarbeiter meist keine Ahnung und die Preise meistens nicht am Lager. Bin schon etwas enttäuscht.

I love the rewards
Awful waste of time
Saved up £40 worth of shopping vouchers, I stopped but let them know that I hadn’t done shopping that week (I have been ill with heart problems for months now) my family had been caring for me. I’m starting to get better now and went into my account to find it all gone. I saw an email that I didn’t know I got saying what they’ve done and to get all my family to delete the app too and how they’ve tried to contact me about this… I haven’t received any other call or email trying to reach out too me.
User friendly
The App is so much better the the old scanner. Its user friendly and scans well

È da circa tre mesi che non è possibile riscattare i premi dall’app , ho anche provato a parlare con l’assistenza e non sanno risolvere il problema
Weniger Punkte, Scan Probleme
Ich Scanne meine Einkäufe jetzt schon seit mindestens 8 Jahren für Nielson Schweiz. Aber in den vergangenen 2-3 Jahren nimmt die Wertschätzung von Nielsen dafür immer mehr ab. Erst wurden Still und leise die manchmal mehr, manchmal weniger nützlichen Geschenke im Sommer und auf Weihnachten abgeschafft. Nun wurden Anfang Februar 2025 auch noch ohne jegliche inforation von einer Woche auf die andere die wöchentlichen 25 Mitglieder Punkte für die unter uns gestrichen. Die wie ich doof genug sind zum Scannen das eigene Smarphone zu benutzen. Ach so und tauscht man Punkte gegen Prämien ein, werden aber munter weiter nochmals Punkte Für’s eintauschen belastet, wass absolut nicht korrekt ist! Ich überlege mir wieder einen Handscanner von Nielsen zu verlangen und werde keine Codes mehr manuell erfassen, wenn die Scanner funtion nicht endlich Wieder zum funktionieren gebracht wird. Die Hotline mitarbeiterinnen werden auch immer unfreundlicher, wenn man Probleme melden will. Schade eigentlich, dass wir Panel Mitglieder immer weniger geschätzt werden….

Die App läuft, dennoch habe ich feststellen müssen das diese App Fehler aufweist. Ich fotografiere den Bong und komme einfach nicht auf weiter. Tolle Idee aber dennoch direkt abgenervt nach 11 Versuchen aufgeben. Die Aufregung sind mir die Punkte sammelei nicht wert.
Beim Barcode-Scan hängt sich Kamera auf
Auf meinem I Phone 16 Pro hängt sich beim Barcode-Scan dauernd die Kamera auf und das Bild friert ein. Ich muss die App dann immer beenden. Fehler tritt immer wieder auf. Auf meinem I Pad funktioniert die App problemlos.
£££ for scanning
This is good, you buy, you scan and you get rewarded. It can be a bit time consuming but the rewards are good. Sometimes you get a survey and points too for doing the survey. Just scan all your shopping including receipts. Download the app and go.
Not adding points
The past few shops that I’ve done which have been dig shops, it has not beer adding points onto my account. With every little shop that I do, it adds the points on right away. This makes me think that it’s a scam and it’s practically impossible to get enough points for the vouchers
Providing feedback to the grocery stores
I appreciate the opportunity to do something that helps monitor the food retailers. The app can be slow to navigate at times, but other than that it’s simple enough,
Migliorabile e tanto
L’app dopo svariati problemi ora funziona benino, la ux però è davvero farraginosa e controintuitiva! Suggerisco: - leggere totale dallo scontrino - inserire di default qty 1 e promo a NO, poi sarà l’utente a cambiare se necessita. - Facilitare Switch tra inserimento manuale e barcode (basterebbe ingrandire o spostare l’icona) -migliorare passaggio tra le varie scelte (bio/non bio, sfuso/non sfuso ecc) se ci si è sbagliati ci vogliono troppi passaggi per tornare indietro. Insomma è più complicato inserire la spesa qui che alla cassa automatica del super!!

Tutto bene fino a pochi gg fa, da quando è cambiata la grafica , non mi dà più i punti quando registro gli acquisti, come mai ?

Such a brilliant app so easy to use and to think it’s as simple as just doing your shopping that everyone does and to get something back is such a boost. I’ve recommended to my family when they see it to go for it. So easy to exchange for your vouchers and to use

Bell’idea, ma…!
Questa è una bella app e chiaramente una bella idea per fare acquisti e guadagnare punti per poi trasformarli in qualcosa di utile, però non ha tutto senso! Se io acquisto 1 articolo e invio lo scontrino mi da 37 punti per la trasmissione dell’acquisto, se acquisto 100 articoli nello scontrino mi dà comunque 37 punti. Che senso ha? Inoltre, se io faccio più di 5 trasmissioni di scontrini diversi non danno più punti! Perché? Sono sempre acquisti, più info per voi, più punti per noi! Se io dopo la trasmissione del quinto acquisto ne inviassi un sesto dovete bloccarla, non tenervi la trasmissione e non dare punti. L’app comunque ha uno stile un po’ datato!
App works fine for a while then crashes
Today is the third time recently that I have had contact nielsen for a new installation key and re-download the app. It will work fine for a number of weeks, then all of a sudden, when I try and click into it, it won’t open. I end up having to delete it and contact nielsen, then wait for a new installation key to get back in. I love being part of the nielsen consumer panel, but if this keeps happening, I will be withdrawing from it. At least with other apps, you can just re-login if they glitch and you have to re-download them. Having to contact nielsen and then reinstall the app is just frustrating.

I registered but I’ve not yet been accepted, so this app is useless
App crashes
I seem to have frequent issues with this app crashing, today is just the latest, can’t get on to scan as the app won’t even open. We moved from having the physical scanner at home to using this app but it seems to be really buggy. Please sort out as I enjoy being a homescan panel member and have been for many years. But this makes it a lot harder to accurately scan our shopping in.

App ben fatto, peccato vada sempre in blocco all’apertura della fotocamera. Inutilizzabile.
