“Used to be enjoyable”
I have been playing this game daily for years. Bought every food truck, PTG, and didn’t mind spending on other things when I enjoyed the game. But every update they keep removing things and making changes that players only receive in the first 80 levels of every restaurant even though you should be playing 250+, basically catering to new players who don’t know better and setting them up for frustration and failure from the beginning, and new players don’t know that, until it’s too late. They flash pretty sparkly things in your face, so you continue to play fast, rush, and ultimately get forced to pay to play to continue. They also ask for feedback every season, but it falls on deaf ears, they seem to do the opposite, and makes it seem they don’t care that they have isolated so many dedicate loyal long term players. I went from I can’t wait to get home and play, to oh yeah I have to do my daily’s, to I simply don’t feel like even logging in. Is so very unfortunate the developers are happily running such this wonderful potential of a game into the ground. I don’t know how many times I’ve been told “thank you for your feed back, we will send it to our development team” it’s a joke at this point. I loved this game, but the developers don’t love their fan base back, it’s very obvious at this point, they aren’t even trying to hide the bad changes anymore. It’s sad honestly. So go ahead and download the game, you will enjoy it, but don’t get too attached to it. The way they have changed it, you won’t make it too far until you have to pay money to continue.
Good until…
This is a very fun and good game. It is very entertaining. I love the quality and all of the other items. But I have reach the point where it cost both money and gems to upgrade the kitchen. I thought it was okay at first because some of the upgrades were less expensive than before but then I realized I might run out of gems to do the purchases. I think as a reward to go along with the other things, there should be some gems to collect after each level.
I love this game BUT MY GOD
This is literally one of my favorite games on my phone. But you have to click through 7 different screens all trying to get you to spend money. And then the game literally does not make it possible to level up with rubies WITHOUT spending money. It literally makes the game not worth playing even though it’s really fun.
Too Many Updates
I have been playing this game for years. Recently, the updates are too frequent with no major changes. Open the app and try to play during break but always need update to play. I just left without playing cuz it becomes annoying

I have been playing cooking diary for a while, I may have had to start over awhile back.. but I enjoy playing this game, the guild quests, the prizes and everything! I love the new addition to prize boxes they added just, I feel like I can be myself and express myself playing this game. I love everything about it and look forward to playing it everyday

Addicting, but need real money
Love this game, but you have to spend actual money to progress in the game. It’s so hard to get enough gem s for anything without real money. Everything is 149+ real gem and you can only earn 1 or 2 at a time. Extremely frustrating. Use to be a great game until it turned into a money grab. =(

Pros - great addictive game. Cons - Mytona are just greedy. Example Tasty Airlines. Collect cards and get 50 rubies on completion. Not only did they remove the rubies but they keep giving the cards away as ‘ rewards’. I love my guild I enjoy playing the game but the developers take cynical money grabbing attitude to players and the game becomes more and more pay to play with each update. King.com very successful and don’t rip off their players. Maybe take a look at their business model

Rubies for Upgrades
Love the game but the experience has declined since it now requires rubies to upgrade equipment. That was not the best way to get engagement…money from people maybe but not a fan of that direction for money.

I’ve been playing this game for MANY years, probably around the start of the pandemic.. this game was so addicting for me. It used to fill up all my time and I would ENJOY that. I won’t say it was extremely free-to-play friendly in those times- the pop ups and “deals” after every level has always remained the same. But what hasn’t is the insane inflation of the gems. Before, it was easy to progress your restaurant prestige with the upgrades needed to advance in the levels and still have a challenging, yet fun time. 20 gems used to get you so far. Now? It feels like you’re barely scratching the surface of progression and completion. Even the upgrades needed to level up a NEWLY OPENED restaurant will be minimum 15 gems for the FIRST UPGRADE. It’s honestly EXTREMELY frustrating as a long time player who’s played on and off again. Every time I return to the game, I get reminded why I stopped playing. It’s so overwhelming to try and compete with other guilds when you can barely advance in your levels even when you fully upgrade your kitchen because you constantly need BUFFS or else you just won’t complete it. That was so unheard of before… I’m not sure why the game has become so unnecessarily difficult besides a money hungry game company. It really makes the veteran players, like me, want to drop the game, but the nostalgia pulls me back. I miss the way the game used to be. If I rated it during the pandemic, it would’ve been 5 stars. Now, I even question why I’m giving 2. :/.. I can’t see the game going back to how it was, so I must say I’m really disappointed that it’s evolved into this. I would say to those wanting to try the game to seriously give it a try because it’s honestly really fun and it’s probably the most fun time management restaurant games out there, but unfortunately… you will get burnt out and highly frustrated and frustrated.
Thinking of deleting the game
I liked the game initially, but right I am thinking of deleting it. There are levels where you need to earn a certain amount of money, but to do that you ought to have upgraded ingredients and food so they cost more and to upgrade you need diamonds which are quite impossible to get in the quantities you need and I am not wasting my money on them, and so no matter how perfectly and fast you get everyone’s orders you still fail. And so my frustration with this game mounts, hence are my thoughts of deleting it.

Beware they are taking more and more away and you have to pay to play. They want you to advance but give you know way to do so except to pay. Been playing 7-8 years and last 1-2 years just keeps getting worse. Good luck

I used to like this game but not anymore. This game used to be fun
This game used to be fun but now it’s getting to be annoying. Every time I open the game, I have to click out of five or six different pop-ups trying to get you to spend more money. It’s freaking incessant and then you get a reward for an hour of not having to use lives, but it’s worthless because I usually just play it when I have a few minutes to kill and then I get an hour reward, but I don’t have an hour to spend on it so therefore the reward is absolutely worthless. If you’re gonna give an hour of award, it needs to be from when you click go to start it. It shouldn’t start the minute You win it. Because not everybody has the kind of time to devote to it. So therefore, anytime, you see where you purchase coins and adds an hour of playtime on there, consider it worthless, unless you actually have the hour to commit to it. And I really resent that about this game and I feel like it’s just a major cash grab.

Such a Greedy GAME.
I have been playing this game now on and off for years and recently started playing again and I don’t wish to admit how much I have spent on gems. But now realised you need at least 300 gems to complete a restaurant. The free in games gems are laughable. And as much as I love the actually game itself I will be considering not bothering as I can’t believe how I have spent on gems. And I don’t gamble but this feels equivalent.
Could be so much better
I really love this game from top to bottom everything is fine for me, BUT one thing that keeps pushing me away is the amount of POP UP IN-GAME ADS! Why can’t you just put them all in side or tab, I’m trying to play the game and I have to get through 15 pop up in game ads and then more non stop… I don’t mind the story pop up but all those gems/side story advertise like I can get it if I need it but that annoys me to even play the game sometimes.

They are determined to ruin the game
Every major update makes things worse. I had stopped playing for weeks after they doubled the price of path to glory. Just started again to discover a guild member is playing a test version that is HORRIBLE. Once that rolls out I guess I’ll just uninstall the game and be done. It was fun before the developers decided to ruin it.
Great game! Too many ads
The game itself is great! It forces me to focus, whenever I feel overstimulated or overwhelmed. It’s also a great pass time on car ride/ road trip. I play on my iPad so it fits the screen pretty well. The only con is that upon opening the game there tends to be a lot of ads for in app purchases. I understand having a few, so gamers have the options to upgrade to more diamonds etc. However, I’m someone who just wants to get to the game at times, and the ads can make things a bit overwhelming or feel pressured to make a purchase when you don’t want to.

Losing its appeal rapidly
I’ve played this game for years , and love it. In fact it’s the only game I play regularly. However recent changes have made it really restrictive. The Tasty Airlines challenge is terrible. I’ve been on 98% for weeks. Nothing I do to increase the score works. Why now only 5 gems for thirty levels? It used to be ten, and was worthwhile taking the time to do that in order to get ahead when really stuck. I used to regularly get the odd rewards- boosts or gems, but now, it’s almost impossible. Really gone downhill in recent months, but the last few weeks have been the worst. Everyone in my guild feels the same

I have played this game for years! But recently the updates have made the game boring…I liked doing the daily to to list as it gave me a set number of levels to do a day and there were more blue notes rewards and stuff for my pets…I miss that aspect of the game. The daily bbq tasks feel never ending but personally it felt like an achievement to just do the daily tasks then only play more if I had time…also, blue book rewards have been reduced. Seems like there has been numerous subtle changes meaning we can earn less rubies!! I have played this game years and although I rely on free rubies a lot, I also pay small amount for extra rubies. If things continue, I’ll probably lose interest soon.

Whenever I load the game it keeps shutting down but there’s no uodate available. So it’s making it impossible to play
I was really enjoying this game but…
In the latest update they removed the daily tasks (grandpa’s tasks) which was a great source of receiving a variety of boosters / gems /etc, the new method is nowhere near as good. Also, if I receive a booster for 5 mins, there’s loads of marketing interruptions so you cannot maximise it. I also find the game purposefully does not give enough time on some levels as well as not making the right “assumptions” for making dishes when you have multiple customers which is simply frustrating.

“Updates” have ruined a once great game
I’ve been playing this game for years, always found it challenging, yet reasonable, but lately, if you don’t spend, you don’t advance. Let’s start with the gameplay itself. There seems to be some sort of algorithm running now, that specifically restricts the customers you get during a level to aid in completing guild quests, daily goals, and even the level itself. If you have a task to complete for happy customers, for example, it’s just level after level of nothing but impatient customers that force you to use boosters just to reach the goals, and you will use far more than the game rewards you with, so to complete the task, you’re forced to spend money. For a so called “free to play” game, it’s feeling more like a “fee to play” game. Now let’s address the in game rewards. The rubies you used to be rewarded with for completing goals in each level, have been drastically reduced, meaning you can’t earn what you need through sheer hard work and patience any more. And the cost to upgrade items to progress through levels is ridiculously high. There is no balance, just more of the “fee to play” feeling. Other gripes include the new “Tasty Airlines” feature. I don’t want a useless podium, I want double points for guild quests that used to come as standard with the seasonal restaurants, but is now replaced with a feature, that once again, gives you nothing in return for your efforts that is worth the time invested. Stop moving things around the screen, those of us who have played from the early days are used to the layout, and switching the positions of boosters during levels is just another ploy to get us to spend money to complete levels. Stop using this once enjoyable game as a “cash cow” and start showing you actually care about your clientele. I used to regularly drop a little money to speed things along, but when it feels like you have no choice but to spend to play, loyal players like myself, are going to look elsewhere for something to occupy our down time!
Please stop meddling with what works
I play this game daily and have done for multiple years. I loved the daily tally (I’m up to over 1000 days) yet you’ve swapped it out for a 1-7 day tally now. The animations between levels are constant and far too many. You look 50% of any time frame given on bonuses like double coins or instant cook just closing down the pop ups & incessant animations. It’s infuriating. Adding stupid side quests that also cannot be personalised is also annoying. Open the second room in the house. Let us collect 100 gifts without so much animation. Return to the daily rolling tally.
