Gute App aber nicht perfekt
Sehr schön dass die App beim Antippen von stl Dateien in der Datei-App diese direkt in exocad geladen und angezeigt werden. Was ich mir noch wünschen würde: Zum zurückkehren in die Datei-App muss man zweimal tippen (oben auf die ... und dann auf schliessen). Besser wäre ein eigener Icon oder Geste zum direkten Beenden. Es gibt anscheinend keinen Viewer für 3mf Dateien unter IOS. Wenn exocad das könnte würde ich gerne dafür auch zahlen. Und bei der Einstellung "Flat shadow" sollte der eingestellte Wert dauerhaft bleiben.

Perspektivenwechsel
Eigentlich ein brauchbarer STL-Viewer, der auch jenseits von Dental-Projekten Freunde finden könnte. Leider stimmt bei größeren Objekten die Perspektive nicht mehr, bzw. ist völlig übertrieben. Hier wäre es schön das virtuelle Objektiv wechseln und die Entfernung der Kamera zum Objekt ändern zu können. Auch die Beleuchtung ist etwas extrem und könnte unterschiedliche Settings vertragen. Sehr gut ist der eigene Ordner in der Dateien-App. In der Dateifreigabe von iTunes sucht man den Viewer allerdings vergeblich, bleibt also nur die Übertragung der Daten via AirDrop, oder den Dateien-Ordner einer anderen App mit Dateifreigabe zu nutzen. Um sich “der beste 3D STL-Viewer” nennen zu dürfen fehlt aber noch ein AR-Modus.
Guter und leichter 3D Viewer
Die App funktioniert sehr gut und verbraucht wenig Speicherplatz. Zudem ist sie kostenlos und man muss sich nicht anmelden. Ich kann nun endlich alle 3D-Modelle von unterwegs anschauen.
