Productivity-GPT (if part of any course) needs to be available on the phone app. There is no sense in making me run for my pc, just to access a step in the course. Why are we one step behind in this mobile-first world?

The app keeps crashing
The videos stop midway and then I have to restart the course videos all over again, it’s frustrating, the new updates have caused these crashes I’m assuming.
Exceptional tool for Learning
I graduated from upGrad in 2023 and had the best and most interesting time interfacing with the portal on my mobile phone. Learning is super easy and fun. I loved the experience. Parth Rana instagram @reallyparthrana
Worst agency
Very disappointing experience with upGrad. The program was marketed very differently during counseling, and important details were not clearly explained before payment. What was promised as an easier abroad pathway turned out to be mostly a credit waiver setup. Student support after enrollment has also been poor. I would strongly advise students to thoroughly verify everything before enrolling.
Recommendations
I think Upgrad should implement an “embeds to Google Calendar” function to add all the course timeline (open/close module, deadline, exam day, etc.) - just like Coursera

After getting enrolled - if you are with eduction loan for the program. You can’t opt out!
After getting enrolled - if you are with eduction loan for the long term degree program. You can’t opt out! You will end up loosing money! Support from Upgrad is poor. Mis management of classes by buddies. Some people leave in between. Be careful. The call center people are rude too. No official help.

They claim to provide skills certificate and then career assistance. But there is no responsibility once payment is made. There is no form of career assistance provided. No linkage with the companies to provide career assistance, just fake claims of partnering with big companies.
Substantially seamless despite of some repeated technical shortfalls
Since no past experience on such platforms can’t comment enough.However Interactive sessions are something differs it out from potential completions around the globe.

i like video to be easily watchable and not stop while i switched the app for quick. Modern capabilities in iOS allows video to be popped out from app - can it be enabled? Also, i like to pause and play using my earpod pro. Native integrations are going to really help if your iOS team can help focus Otherwise, great company, vision and Data science program.

Frustrating Refund Process
I enrolled for online MBA but for some reason I cancelled it way before the program start date and requested refund of the entire fees paid worth 1.8lacs. Despite following refund timeline of 30working days, i am still not been given any exact refund date. UpGrad puts the blame on OPJ university and university puts it back on UpGrad. This entire process has been very tiring and today when i am writing this review, I have still not received my refund amount nor guarantee provided. My recommendation- Don’t make hasty decision and don’t pay the entire fees at once.

They have an app that asks you to long in via a complex because this program isn’t compatible with mobile devices- continue learning on desktop- yes then why do you have an app?
Need bookmarking and note options within the videos as provided by video lectures in udemy
App is good and always available. Some options like bookmarking and adding notes within video lectures would be helpful. Also would help to have notes added as a pdf document for all sessions.

Misleading, unresponsive, unprofessional
Misleading Admission & Last-Minute Cancellation I had a very poor experience with UpGrad. I enrolled around end of October for a Data Analytics & Generative AI course after being assured by my counselor that I was eligible. I clearly mentioned that I am a working professional. I was pressured to complete the admission immediately due to “limited slots.” I paid ₹10,000 as admission fee and ₹89,000 as course fee via a 6-month no-cost EMI. My documents were verified, I attended introductory sessions, and even received an offer letter. My course was scheduled to start on 31st December. Just two days before the start date, I received an email saying they can no longer proceed with my application, offering only a ₹10,000 refund. If I was not eligible, this should have been identified before admissions, verification, onboarding, and EMI initiation. My counselor is now unresponsive, which makes the situation worse. This experience was misleading and extremely unprofessional. I would strongly advise others to be cautious and get everything in writing before enrolling.
