매달 말이 되면 저는 지난 한 달 동안 제 돈이 어디에 쓰였는지 정리해 보는 시간을 갖습니다. 지출과 수입을 기록하고 날짜별로 정리하면서 제가 돈을 어떤 목적으로 사용했는지 확인합니다. 한국에서는 일상적인 결제의 대부분을 카드나 계좌이체로 처리하다 보니, Global SOL은 이러한 내역을 다시 확인할 때 제가 자주 사용하는 앱이 되었습니다. 제가 가장 많이 사용하는 기능 중 하나는 ‘교통카드 이용내역 조회’입니다. 이용 시간과 승하차 장소는 물론 버스나 지하철의 차량번호까지 관련 정보가 비교적 상세하게 표시된다는 점이 매우 만족스럽습니다. 특히 교통비는 이동할 때마다 바로 빠져나가는 것이 아니라 나중에 결제되기 때문에 이 기능이 저에게 더욱 유용합니다. 저는 매일 지출을 정리할 때 이 이용내역을 다시 확인하면서 그날 어디를 다녀왔는지, 교통비로 얼마를 사용했는지를 파악할 수 있습니다. 하지만 이렇게 지출을 정리하는 과정에서 Global SOL이 조금 더 보완되면 좋겠다고 느낀 부분도 있었습니다. 바로 ‘이용 내역 조회’나 ‘승인 내역 조회’ 기능입니다. 현재 제가 확인할 수 있는 정보는 거래일, 금액, 가맹점명 정도이기 때문에 월말에 지출을 정리하다 보면 어떤 돈을 언제, 어디에서 사용했는지 기억나지 않는 경우가 있습니다. 따라서 거래 상세정보에 정확한 결제 시간, 가맹점의 전체 상호명과 주소, 필요한 경우 점주의 연락처와 같은 추가 정보가 제공된다면 더욱 유용할 것이라고 생각합니다. 이러한 작은 정보들은 단순히 지출 금액을 확인하는 데서 그치지 않고, 시간이 지난 뒤에도 해당 거래가 어디에서, 어떤 상황에서 발생했는지를 쉽게 떠올릴 수 있도록 도와줄 수 있습니다. 또한 교통카드 이용내역과 일반 거래내역이 서로 다른 기능으로 나누어져 있기 때문에, 하루 동안 사용한 총금액을 계산할 때 저는 교통비와 일반 지출을 각각 확인해야 합니다. 거래내역이 많은 사람에게는 이러한 과정이 생각보다 번거롭고 시간이 많이 걸릴 수 있습니다. 그래서 Global SOL에 두 가지 정보를 하나의 공통된 타임라인으로 통합해서 보여주는 기능이 추가되면 좋겠다고 생각합니다. 그렇게 된다면 서로 다른 메뉴를 오가며 확인할 필요 없이 한 화면에서 일반적인 소비와 교통비를 함께 확인할 수 있어 하루 동안의 지출을 훨씬 편리하게 관리할 수 있을 것입니다. 마지막으로, 가능하다면 월별 수입 및 지출을 한눈에 볼 수 있는 통계 기능도 추가되면 좋겠습니다. 이를 통해 사용자는 월별 지출 규모를 쉽게 비교할 수 있고, 카드 결제나 계좌이체 등 자신이 확인하고 싶은 거래 유형을 직접 선택해서 살펴볼 수도 있을 것입니다. 이렇게 데이터를 시각적으로 정리하면 거래내역이 각각의 기록으로만 남아 있는 것보다 자신의 소비 패턴을 훨씬 직관적으로 파악하고 관리하는 데 도움이 될 것이라고 생각합니다. 이러한 경험을 통해 저는 거래내역이 더 명확하고 서로 연결되어 쉽게 다시 확인할 수 있다면, Global SOL이 유학생들의 일상에서 더욱 실용적이고 유용해질 수 있다고 느꼈습니다. 유학생의 입장에서 직접 사용하며 느낀 경험과 이러한 의견이 신한은행의 서비스 개선에 조금이나마 도움이 될 수 있기를 바랍니다.

Impressive so far
I haven’t used it enough to give 5 stars but this app is LEAPS AND BOUNDS better than an banking app I’ve used so far. The fact that you can adjust your transfer limit through the app is already amazing and do international transfers is so convenient! Really great so far!

after updating the application. I tried writing down my 4-digit password many times but the app still showed up as the wrong password. I've used that password for 4 years in a row so I can't forget it

비밀번호 입력하고 넘어가려고 완료를 누르자마자 앱이 꺼져서 할 수 있는게 없네요
It's gotten so slow
I honestly love Shinhan Bank because of the professional, courteous service I have received since opening my account in 2009. I had another bank before that where I struggled just to withdraw money from the ATM. Shinhan has accommodated my limited Korean ability with a free translation phone center, ATMs in English, and usually at least one teller who can communicate with me. Finally, the banking app came out in English. At first, the app was a bit inconvenient because it didn't offer all of the services that the Korean one did. However, now I can do many things on the English app that the Korean app does. This is essential because every time the Korean app was updated, I had to learn how to use it all over again. Over the last few months, the app has gotten slow and unresponsive. It takes a long time just for the login screen to come up and it often crashes after that finally appears. I then go to the Korean app but regular disuse has absolutely decayed any Korean banking vocabulary I had. I had to go to the bank to transfer money the other day. They didn't know what was wrong with the app. I transferred money in person but I would like to know if this new experience is affecting more than just me. This review is quite long-winded, but it's the only review on the app...I keep hoping for an update to alleviate the problem.

Been stuck in the loading screen for a few weeks. The newest update didn't help.
I can’t even fill my name when register for using this app
Since this is a huge problem with Korean apps that some foreigners have a long name, so they can’t fill their names to complete the registration step.

디자인도 깔끔해지고 속도는 비교가 안될정도로 빨라졌네요. 상품도 다양해지고 로그인도 요즘시대에 맞게 추가되고 바뀌었어요. 참 잘했어요~
Can’t login
I keep trying to do mobile authentication and I get all the way to the login methods but not a single one works. Every time I try, the app says the service is ‘temporarily unavailable,’ but this problem has persisted for the past four days.

Locked out of my account with no access to customer service
Have been locked out of the app with no option to contact any kind of customer service to fix it. Garbage app, avoid where possible. On another note why does ShinHan need so many apps..:

English app works once, then you have to delete and reinstall
This app works once, and then I have to delete it, reinstall it and go through tedious login process again. Does nobody ever test this app before it is released?? Supposedly the Korean app works better...

Last update = no login
I can no longer login. I checked and see it was just updated. I know the English version probably isn’t a Shinhan priority but I hope they fix it soon.

Garbage
This app is garbage. I’m pretty sure the developers only tested this on the latest IPhone model. Because of this, if you have an older model many numbers and displays are cut off to the point of being barely visible. What is visible usually looks bad. Right now I have an IPhone 10 and it is not possible for me to transfer money because the number for my security card is not displayed.

Frustrating Authentication
After the newest update authentication feels impossible. Will have to go into a branch to have them help me. Have tried phone number, ARC card, passport etc etc authentication methods. Continuously refuses picture verification. Says information submitted from ARC, Bank security card etc are incorrect. Can’t log in at all
Frozen App
Usually works fine but every once in a while it just randomly freezes and I can’t do anything on it; not even log in.
