Doesn’t Connect To Magic Sing
Terrible app so laggy. I subscribed for a month and I’m not even able to use it. Ridiculous waste of money. The QR code no longer works. Please fix this. I want my money back.
Apple TV App Support Needed
We need this on Apple TV OS! No one uses the app on their phone to actually sing. It only serves as the remote control, so implement this app on the Apple TV Box!
I don’t get it
Ngl with all the positive reviews in here I thought the app would be great but tbh I don’t get the hype. I wanted and alternative to the Starmaker karaoke app since I want to be able to hear myself more clearly but ngl this app was a bust. Apparently if I want to record myself I have to have some sort of microphone or karaoke machine? Plus the format of the app just looked weird to me.
Please put more TAYLOR SWIFT songs
I am begging for whoever is in charge to put more Taylor Swift songs from Folklore, Evermore, Midnights and TTPD in your catalog. I am begging ferociously. Thank you soooo much!
“Truly Magic(al)Sing”
First and foremost, the app itself is a treasure trove of karaoke fun. The song library is vast and diverse, covering genres from pop to rock, country to K-pop, and everything in between; lots of LSS and Birit songs😊. The search and selection process is user-friendly, and the sound quality is top-notch, making you feel like you're on stage at a concert. It’s great for anyone who loves music, whether you're a seasoned performer or just looking to have some fun. I like that the MagicSing karaoke system is portable and easy to bring to friends and family parties and get togethers and can be hooked and set up in minutes. Well worth the money I spent!🎤🌟
Doesn’t work
I am trying to sign up and log in but it doesn’t let me. I am unable to use this app. The only song that plays is Let It Go. So bad!!!!
Nice app, marred by horrible singer flooding the library
I’ve been enjoying MagicSing for a couple years now, paid for a multi-year subscription, too. While they’ve periodically added new songs to the library over the years, the recent additions have been done by the same atrocious singer “Jae Kim (Cover by ASSA) butchering all of the songs with off-key singing, heavy accent, and “drunk country” twang. Worse, there is no way to contact MagicSing to get this to stop. The App Support link doesn’t go anywhere, there’s no email or website to actually visit for help. I’m only hoping I can get a response from this concerning review.
App locks up
Sometimes this app locks up so you have to close it out and scan the QR code. This becomes really annoying and I second this review
Love & Hate
There’s way too many bugs that still need to be fixed. I have had my karaoke machine for over 3 years now and I have been subscribed for 2+ years now for the full music experience, but it still times out when we try to use our karaoke machine. A window pops up and says, “Server Timed Out” or “Error”. New songs are hard to find as new, because the old “new” songs are still labeled as new even after a song list update. I have to keep reconnecting my phone app to the karaoke machine a few times before it actually stays connected. I love this concept of using an app instead of a physical song list book, but it still has it’s glitches and bugs.
Magic sing review
I love this app! I love singing karaoke all the time!
We can't do it
I mean this app... And in the tv... So I the I pad I only had three sings to sing. But in the tv, you can sing as much as you want. In the I pad, you have to pay to sing as much. Tv, dont need to pay. ████▄▄████████▄ ▓▓▓█░░░░░░░░░░█ ▓▓▓█░░░░░░░░░░█ ▓▓▓██░░░░░░░░░█ ████▀░░░░░████▀ ░░░░░█░░░█ ░░░░░░█░░█ ░░░░░░░▀▀
Abundant and flexible!
I appreciate the sheer quantity of tracks available— in English, Spanish and even Japanese. And always the possibility to change the key, tempo and myriads of other settings. The possibility to use the hardware or just play from an iPad directly onto a speaker using the app is great too! I would appreciate being able to save specific settings for different songs as well as to group songs into lists for easier playback. I’m not sure how to do it but I know you can request additional songs to be added… that’s great too. All in all, I’m very happy … a great improvement over the older hardware-based models (which I also enjoyed).
Vietnamese songs missing from subscription
Vietnamese songs have disappeared from the subscription service as of Jan 2026. No communication as to why.
Can I buy extra music note
I bought the app for the song for one year.. If I want to buy music note also, how can I get it? Because I need song and the music note together.. How can I get music note now since I subsribed for the song for one year?
Magic sing
This app has been a delight to use. The interface is clear and simple. The song library is diverse and is quite good both audio and video resolution. I’ve enjoyed the app thus far and my et.23pro system . WiFi model of magic sing is the way to go . I am thinking of purchasing the e5 soon as I like the WiFi interface
Ehh
I bought the karaoke machine and it came with a free voucher that I need to put into the app but the app doesn’t have an option to enter in my code. SMH.
Love song choices
Love all the song choices however sometimes it is hard to purchase an upgrade to play unlimited songs. The app will malfunction sometimes. However, I did see that the app is working now and I was able to purchase 3 months. Thanks!
I’m disappointed
This app is terrible it has like no good songs and then it always kicks you out for no reason. So I’m sorry if I’m being HARSH but I just hate it
No music
Just bought a magic sing last Oct 2022.. we enjoy every minute of it.. easy updates.. my problem now is the microphone is working good but the music no more and sometimes is chapping.. we are excited to sing specially this holiday season.. but we are all frustrated.. please help us!😊
Love this karaoke app!
Magic Sing had always been my favorite karaoke machine for many years, from it’s wired microphones with cartridges & chips- it’s the highlight of our large & small gatherings! Now it just got even better with the E5 version and the Magic Sing app, we all have a blast anywhere, anytime! I even bought the Magic Sing standalone microphone which converts to a karaoke carpool with my friends😄 We sing a lot of Chinese songs so this app is a big hit!👍 The only thing I dislike is the “code” I use for the unlimited songs is only good for up to three devices only, and I have more than 3 devices that I use! A lot of Chinese songs that we wanted to sing are not on the list yet, they’re not found when we try to look for them in the search bar. Anyway, I still love this app and highly recommend it to all of my friends. There’s still room for improvement, but for now we’re all enjoying this Magic Sing app- it definitely is a must to all karaoke fans!
The $38.51 MagicSing Karaoke app destroyed my iPhone 15 Pro Max - 12/24/23
OK, I purchased the MagicSing Karaoke app from the App Store for $38.51. BUT, after I installed it, sadly, I was no longer able to access my microphone - even from most of my other apps, which was quite disturbing, frustrating, not to mention - disheartening, disappointing. I even spent all morning today, 12/24/23, and into the afternoon, doing several total reinstalls of my iPhone trying to get my microphone back, to no avail. This is unacceptable, especially when it cost $38.51 for an dumb app that broke my phone!!! BUYER BEWARE!!! I’ve already reported this to Apple, who’ve assured me that they will have this taken care of within 48 hours, including my refund which won’t even pay for the half of it, let alone the aggravation and frustration.
Update songs bug
It says that to update the songs, to go on WI-FI, I do that. After it “updated”, it still said that it need to update the songs
An ad? Seriously?
I’m paying $80 a year and the company still decided it’s okay to show me an ad when I start up the app.
Good enough app
Been using for a year and its been okay so far. They keep updating the songs which is good. Sometimes it feels buggy but still workable.
Magic Sing Changed My Life
During a trip to Manila, I was given the Magic Sing system as a gift and it has been life changing. As a karaoke fanatic, I never thought I’d be able to have my very own machine. I can look up any song I want & sing whenever I please. I’ve been sharing the Magic Sing magic with all my friends here in America. It makes any party a million times better. Thank you, Magic Sing ❤️
Useless!
Not only did it make my oboe freeze up and crash and has NO SOUND! My phone sound is working perfectly fine the app is not! Even the user interface os terrible. So disappointed I wasted them trying to get this to work 😠
No sound
Please fix the app, when i open the app and play some songs there is no sound at all .. please fix ..
Website and App
So I got a first card for the voucher on IOS you can’t input the code unless it’s through the website. The website won’t let me put in my voucher, I spent $80 dollars on it so that I could get the full year access to it but what’s the point if I can’t even use it. I love the app but is frustrating when the whole voucher is filled with bugs this goes toward the app and the website.
Confusing voucher posted on appstore vs actual
I used this app and I just wanna use it for a day whenever I feel like singing. There is no 1 day or weekly pass in your voucher options in the actual app. Fix it whenever you can.
Wonderful karaoke!
I love the fact that this is an actual karaoke software! I am incredibly impressed with the many features in this app. It contains a huge variety of songs that are updated continuously, that enables people to choose their favorite songs. It also enables us to add our own background pictures, which was a nice feature. We love to do karaoke with family. Everyone can sing their favorite songs! It definitely kept us entertained during this situation. I really love this app, and it really keeps people entertained, and brings people together!
Subscription
On the voucher page, I can’t click any of the payment options so I can’t renew my subscription. Is there a developer that can help and where is the customer support.
Review
Nice app for a full time mother like me when I need a me time
Can't connect to microphone
I'm confused. I have the microphone enabled for the app in phone Settings, but I still can't connect in the app. It won't let me. Do I have to use the tangible microphone to sing?
BUGS
I like this app in general but it needs to be fixed. First problem I encountered was, I don’t hear music when I try to play some songs but whenever I use my AirPods, I hear it. I tried to play some videos from other apps just to be sure it’s not the problem of my phone’s speaker and yes, it’s not. I tried several times uninstalling it, but it’s just the same problem. I even google it how to fix this issue and tried to deal it in my settings but no good result. I also tried reaching out to customer support but it was no help too so I guess I’m just gonna keep on using my AirPods whenever I’ll play songs on this app.
Great user experience.
I love this app. I had an old magic song and it became obsolete after 8 years. You cannot update and the machine just got old and the microphones unusable. This was a great upgrade!
Was our party fave, but now……
It was our party/gathering fave, but now can’t get access to or connect to songs after paying for another year’s subscription. Followed instructions as directed, but it was just confusing and it led me to a code to delete the app?! Please fix or refund my money.
Hi
Ghun
Would not recommend
I would not recommend this app. - The login process is very tedious. You have to log in every time and it shows devices but no instructions on how to add or remove them in the interface. - It doesn’t work with apple tv. The app is not available in apple tv so I couldn’t use this with my home theatre. I reached out to apple support and apparently it has to be made available by the developer or i have to airplay, which is not an available option. - Its also difficult to get it working with youtube. It’s karaoke obviously doesn’t have all the songs so if you want to go to youtube, the mike won’t work. - I wrote to customer service, never heard back from them. Pros - it does work well with a smart tv, has good sound quality and song collection but after your first year is expired, you get so many popups to buy a song package and that you have a 3 song limit. - Its very compact, a small device and a mike.
Wish They Would Add My Song Requests :(
I sent them a list of song requests months ago but none of them have been added yet. I would be happy if even one or two of them would be added. We very much enjoy our Magic Sing, but we would love to have some of our favorite songs. Also, wish there was a way to buy subscription vouchers as gifts. Also, it would not add the wifi when we brought the machine to my parents’ house. We put in the password over and over but it would not add. :(
Subscription
I can’t renew my subscription in the app. I tried selecting different monthly plans and payment, but it won’t work.
Link for update
The app wanted us to request a new songs but the link are so slow directing me to korean language !!!!
Smart TV Casting would be nice.
It would be awesome if the app can be cast to a TV wirelessly on its own. So far media cable works for now.
Machines great, app is not
Paid for a year and can’t get signed in anymore after moving phones.
Score issue
The app works just like the magic sing box but there’s no score given to u at the end (could be a bug) since it’s stated that it does give u a score
worth the money investment!
there’s nothing like singing with your friends and family during special occassions this magic sing never dissapoint! it is very easy to search songs no need to scan around the paper handbook thing in the dark or whatever… my family enjoyed this karaoke so much and it has manu tagalog songs you are looking for!!!
