Hockey fanatic loves this game!
This is definitely one of the manager games I like. My team actually wins games, plays well, and feels very realistic. It really makes you think about making good lines and finding good strategies. It isn't just about finding good players to put in. The only thing is that I'm mixed about the wait time for each game. For some reason, I actually like playing one game a day. That way I can focus on different things, and so I don't get stressed about the next game. However, sometimes I get impatient when my preparation is at 100%, and I'm ready to go. Also, it's nice that the game plays even if you're offline, and I don't even need to see the game for it to happen. Overall, I am very impressed! I really have no issues other than the fact that penalties can be extreme sometimes, but not to the point where it changes the outcome of the game. The only time it was bad was when I had 33 penalty minutes and the other team had only 8, but I still won 2-1. Also, sometimes the game freezes randomly, and I can't get out of the app, then it comes back. I don't know if it's my phone or it's the app.

Fun but crashes often
They made a great game that is fun to play and develop your team Style is clean and looks good making it my first choice to play However the game crashes so often it’s starting to push me into the territory of not worth the trouble I hope they fix it
Game keeps crashing
Some good and bad in this review, overall I give 2 star mainly because it over heats phone and app continuously crashes when you try to play tournaments to earn extra coins which is the only way to evolutionize your franchise. Notable, the waiting 3 days for one upgrade at only level 6 is really annoying, like the other reviews the whole concept of building your franchise comes down to purchasing coins which if this game is overheating phone and crashing all the time I’m not wasting my money on that, now, more about the game itself not the money grabs and the crashing app, when you waste 35 hard earned coins on signing a coach depending on the coach your team does not improve and eventually starts to lack work rate, if you try to release the coach you don’t get any money back that you spend on top of wasting the coin you worked hard for. The coach ratings are often same as players which is pointless because as mentioned it doesn’t develop the players much further. Also the players lots of them will have maxed out ratings you’ll find just after wasting 5 coins and thousands of dollars signing them, game is very misleading which brings consumers more and more frustration with time. Credit due that it is a fun game to pass time, then again when it takes 3 days just for 1 upgrade at only level 6 you need to find other games to wait and takes years to see serious progress.
Fun, but maxes out.
Been a fun game that we play as a family. However, there is a maximum you get to on your players, stadium, levels, etc. Nice if they added some more levels.

I would love to be able to give this game 5 stars but the games take way too long with no way to skip them. I love the concept and being able to build your team but playing games is oppressive! Unless we get the ability to fast forward the games I fear I will not continue with this one.
Love the Game… Crashing
Live playing the game, but since this last update it will not open and continues to crash.

It’s clear this is an extremely low effort money grab. On the surface there are a lot of things that look right but it’s clear that the reality is that the logic to decide which teams/players win situations and games is extremely flawed, if not just random.
Hockey Manager
So far the best hockey management games I have played. Worth a try for anyone unsure of they should or not.
Never works after an update, too many ads
Anytime this app updates, it seems that it NEVER works. This wouldn’t be a problem normally but there some events that require a ‘streak’ and the failing to load and cause issues with meeting the streak. Additionally, the ads used to be non-intrusive, but now you required to watch ads for daily packs instead of just bonuses. I’m done’

Fun and challenging
You build your team from the ground up and train and recruit new players plenty of choices to what direction you want to build your team. It’s worth the time and the weekends you get a lot of free helpful stuff that turbo builds your team

Just lost my franchise somehow spent months and poof. Don’t spend any money on it

It’s a fun game but sitting through each match is too time consuming if there was a way to fast forward through the game it would be more fun to play

This is an awesome app, by far the best when comes to sports & hockey. Been playing from almost day one, but it happened again, app won’t open and last time It did this I had to delete & re install so looks like I’m going to lose everything again. 😔
Latest update has broken the game
The latest update has broken the game. It will no longer start. I’ve been playing this since 2018. It is challenging to maintain a team in Gold league and above but doable without spending money. Find a great social league and make some coins. Play your challenge games daily and build up your cards for the weekend social challenge.
Great All Around
This game is pretty fun, building/managing a team and creating infrastructure of the arena, ETC. but after playing for over a year it crashed for about two weeks and when it finally loaded again I lost a lot of players due to contracts expiring and lost matches as well. I emailed the customer service team thinking that I all my progress was for nothing and I’d just have to delete it and start over if I wanted to continue using it. To my surprise they reinstated all my lost players and gave me compensation for gameplay in coins and cash. Gary was fantastic in his concern and customer service support!! I wish this experience existed in the outside world, we’d have a better place;). I 100% recommend this app!!
**UPDATE: Just Lost EVERYTHING!!!** Went From Great to Just Okay.
**Update: I just went on to play and I got a red session expired notice. Then it proceeded to treat me like I just downloaded the app. Asked me to choose jersey colors etc. I LOST EVERYTHING!!!!! Two years or so down the drain. I’m done.** I love the concept of this game. I was loving it for a long time but seemingly out of nowhere it’s just loss after loss. The game was consistent and with proper attention to my team,I was doing well. Out of nowhere though there’s nothing I can do to win. I’ve tried everything. Tried changing the players, coaches, strategies, training, but I’m consistently losing every game. I mean it’s at least 5 games in a row before I win. It’s beginning to not be fun anymore. I’m holding out hope for a little while longer but I may have to pull the plug on this game soon if nothing changes.
Connecting issue
Hi there. Ive been playing this app for a while now. I really enjoy it. I just wish it would stop forcing me to close and reopen the app after every 3 or 4 matches. And now it wont let me play because it thinks Im in a league matchup. Please fix these issues.
New update makes impossible to load game
I just performed the latest update and now the game never even loads. I cannot do anything. Either allow us to go back to the last stable version, or repair the update, or fix this somehow very soon.

A fun and immersive strategy based live ranking e-sport sim that plays much like EA sports GM mode. While several are available, more free options to continue playing before cooldown periods need to be cheaper examples; daily training, coin based scouting and maybe more ad watch upgrade opportunities.

League Out Of Team Skill Level
I was in Bronze League II , I won 19/20 of my games , so I got promoted to Silver League II, I finished by winning 6/20 of my games . I was later surprised to find instead of being relegated to Bronze League I where I belong I got promoted to All Star League IV . My team is currently 41 stars , my first matchup . Besides this issue the game is very good . Thank you for reading
Most comprehensive managerial hockey app on the market
Let me start out by saying that this is a game for the long haul, and needs to be played every day, multiple times throughout the day. There are lots of negative 1-2 star reviews complaining about not being able to field a competitive team due to the persistence it takes to build a team and progress through the game. If you are not able to regularly play this game, then it is not for you. The systematic format of the game is quite simple. The object is to perform as a general manager and construct a roster of players, coaches, and prospects, as well as build up facilities such as the ice rink, training facilities, board room, and scouting abilities. This is done through collecting cash or coins through playing games or winning challenges. The ability to collect coins depends on your facilities and sponsorship and coincides with your progression through the game. There are also lots of complaints about not being able to afford better players as you do not earn enough cash or coins. This is not the case as there is an aspect of what general mangers faces when deciding contracts. You cannot sign every start player, and have to prioritize your roster by developing prospects and signing smart deals. Overall this game is addicting and takes strategic planning that many people don’t have the patience to complete. If you go into this game knowing you will be playing it for years multiple times per day, it will allow for a better experience. Or if all else fails you can just purchase coins with actual money.
Waste of time!
Bottom line is if you want to win the Champions Division, be prepared to pay! You will never develop a team good enough if you’re playing for free! You can make to the champions division without any money but that’s where it ends!!!! Below 1 star!!!!

Great, immersive strategy game - Not for casual players
I think there are a lot of good things about this game but if there is one thing I dislike about mobile games is the time-based elements keep the progression of the game on the developer’s clock, not yours. I enjoyed periodically playing this game and training players. If you are a casual player that’s fine with playing this a few times a week but not every day, you might eventually find your lineups with missing players because of contracts ending. It wouldn’t be an issue if you were to extend contracts of players well before they expire but in order to do so, it costs coins. I would much rather pay for the game up front than be on the hook routinely to play the game to keep the progress I have made. Best of luck to current/future players and the developers.

Poor quality and pay to win.
They spent more money getting Gretzky to take photos for the game than developing the actual game. Can not believe this is a series game… click bait and pay to win all the way. Horrible depth and deleted after a week.
Great game! Could be polished a bit!
There could be more coin challenges for more casual players! Coins seem to be more accessible through micropayments and that ruins the game. Watch an ad get “2” coins that’s not much.if play the game I could get (based on wins) coins but then again what if I never win? Just add more coin or money based challenges to allow for better engagement for casual players’ longevity.

I’ve played this game for a while and enjoyed it but I come to log on 2 days in a row and it doesn’t even get past the loading screen and I have the latest iOS spent moeny to upgrade and get good players for nothing

So I love this game and will delete this after but no support contact is working on the game. Every time I start a game on the app it crashes and when I try to reload it, it crashes again. This is ever since the most recent update HELP

The new update is awful. Constantly loading, doesn’t acknowledge actions, constant crashes.

My only issues are that the startup for the app is a bit slow and 15 coins for extra training when it only grant 5% more preparation is ridiculous. Other than that this is a fun hockey manager and fairly addicting. A warning to anyone who’s never played a manager game before, this will feel like a second job at times but you’ll get used to it.
It’s going downhill fast
I got this game 1.5 years ago and loved it. I thought this game could always add some minor details to improve gameplay but they had a good product. I don’t know what has happened but now you don’t get near the amount of cards you used to get. It’s so hard to play for the big weekend social cup because you need energy and moral. Which they want you to buy so you can continue playing. Never used to be like that. I have been playing this religiously the last 3 weeks. (Checking it every day, at least 8 hours apart) and I don’t get near the amount of energy I need to play these games. I used to be able to contend with the league games but now it’s so hard to play games, to make money, to pay my contracts for the players, that this doesn’t seem like much fun anymore. Another annoyance was you get 8 games that you can use free energy back to what is was previously before the game, and the ads don’t work, or you watch the ad and then it doesn’t restore your energy at all. Then you spend the precious energy cards you get so you can play again when it should have been restored from this so called energy replenisher. I had 3 teams going I was so into this game. Now I’m letting them all go. Just severely disappointed after they took away the social weekend card rewards. And I don’t think I’ll be coming back. The game makers seemed to be making it increasingly more difficult for people who don’t want to pay 50$ a week to be able to contend anymore. Such a shame. Bring back the previous game play settings instead of making us pay to play and be contenders in the league play.
Fun game but so laggy
I’ve enjoyed playing but have had such a hard time with it loading and lagging. I usually have to play off Wifi and have it be the only app open to not have it lag for me. It’s getting to the point where it’s frustrating because sometimes it takes 5-10 minutes just to get something done. You spend a lot of time looking at the spinny wheel of death

My problem is you do so well for like ten games straight then, you lose like 6 IN A ROW win 1 then, LOSE another 6 IN A ROW.

Its very fleshed but its not very good. It doesn’t give me a good reason to come back. I love hockey i want a hockey game and a good one on mobile. NHL franchise mode tops this. You want to manage and play your own hockey team… you would love franchises mode. If I had this option or franchise. Id pick NHL franchise over this. Not very good quality. It lacks alot. Its still a time killer. But it really lacks THE ADS ARE TOO AGGRESSIVE!! Oh your in the middle of a match? Here let me send you to the app store! You like puzzle games?? Really bad strategy games. I mean no shame its egregious! How is it even playable. And no control element is offered in matches… honestly kind of stupid. Like give me at least an option to change strategy on forechecks, breakouts, and how aggressive I should go in periods. This game is so RNG based it basically ask you to pay for money, to get better. Going by the “want get better?? Pay us and we can still not make that happen” and RNG in management game? Two things that don’t mix well. Not enough verity its terrible!! Absolutely terrible. Good game, let down by glitches
Game can be quiet addictive however when you spend 5 days constantly playing to win a reward but when trying to claim it the game crashes I’m ready to throw the towel in!!

I enjoy this game a lot, even spent a few $ on it, but the app is getting buggier and buggier as time goes on. I can’t get through challenges without the app opening the advertisers on my App Store. I’ll be watching the game then all of a sudden I’m in my apps store for “Getir” or “Dropbox”. I have to go back to the WHM app to watch the game and sometimes it doesn’t load correctly afterwards.
