Needs to be updated
I love GENCO and kept the account when I moved to DFW. I can’t use the account as much as I want to because there’s no way of depositing checks. Even my low-budget credit union up here in Tarrant County lets me do that on their app. To deposit anything, I have to make specific trips down to Waco, which happen like maybe once every 3-6 months or so.
Not working.
Every since y’all changed the look of the app it won’t even let me open it up. The app just closes itself. Hasn’t been working all year
Works for 1/2 the time
Hardly ever works…always have to enter password 2-4 times before it ever goes through. Pain in the ****
Transfers between accounts that your apart of
I would love for you guys to allow bank transfers between genco accounts that your associated with. ie I can transfer between my own checking and savings but not mine and my sons account and my name is on my sons account. I have to log into the website to do that.
Worst app ever
This app makes banking so difficult, at least once or twice a week is unable to validate my password, the Face ID works for a couple of days and then nothing. Might as well just go through the website.
Genco
I wish it had it where you can upload a picture Of your check and it’ll upload. I don’t live in town so I always have to wait for 1-3 months to be able to go to the bank
App won’t open
I’ve liked this app in the past, but now the app won’t open with the new update. I click on it and it just flashes and then closes again. Please fix this issue so I can access my account.
Could be better
Had to delete the app then reinstall it again. It’s working now. Finally have Face ID!!! Love this bank though.

Unable to validate information
I’ve been having so many issues with the app for some reason not being able to connect or validate my information I’m ready to just delete it and use the website. I’m so over this just not working.
Great but..
Love the app glad i have it but my big withdraws/payments don’t show so it’s hard for me too see how much i really have left in my account.
Update app
App needs to be updated, it’s old fashion and has no real great perks. You can check and see an “estimate” amount of money in account and make a transfer. That’s it.
New Update
Wverything was working pretty well until the update. Now I can’t see anything upon opening the app except a white screen which crashes shortly after. I almost put one star but I’ll be generous.
I like it but could be better
I like the new look I don’t have any issues anymore logging it straight and simple into the point I just wish this bank would eventually start letting us text a number from my phone and it returned a text message with our balance kind of like Chase Bank
Always crashing
This is the worst banking app ever. It crashes at least once a week and I have to go through and reset my password. This is stupid. Fix your broken app so I can see the money I have
Glad there is finally an app but...
Glad we finally have an app it makes checking my balance a lot easier. However, I wish it would show you what was still pending like the website does. It tells you what amount is actually in your account and the amount that you can physically see but you don't get to see the pending transactions. Still use the app often though!
Some glitches? But progress...
Some glitches from the new app but it is progressing towards more modern features. Hopefully, the feature to transfer money from someone’s personal account to another persons personal account will be added. I make monthly transfers to another Genco members account and have to go online from a laptop or desktop in order to do this. It would be nice to have this feature in the app.
Best bank ever
GENCO has the best customer service ever. For me the idea that the screen doesn’t active for very long is a really great security measure. Even compared to local banks, the customer service can’t be beat. Thank you GENCO for helping me stay right with my finances.
I love GENCO but not this app
For as long as I can remember, I’ve not been able to utilize this app. I must go through my browser to get into my account. The app simply blanks out and closes without even allowing me to try and login. I’d love to get this resolved.

Love the new look but…….
I just updated the app on my iPhone 12Pro. Great new interface but now I can get the app to open again. I’m sure once all the bugs are worked out I can give a 5 star rating.
Doesn’t work!
This app hasn’t worked for about 2 weeks now and it is so frustrating that I have to call the bank in order to just see my account balance. This bank is terrible with technology.
Improvements needed!
I joined the army and do not have the ability to go in to a Genco branch. The app was my only took for banking. The app is not really good to manage an account. This is the reason I use USAA for daily banking and Genco for auto loans. If the app is updated and easier to navigate, I would consider only using Genco. Please update the account!
Not happy
I've had the mobile app for a couple of years and the newest update will not let me use the last version!! I'm very aggravated!!

Should be able to save password instead of having to login in each time (if you exit app for just a few seconds, have to log back in) and/or use iPhone fingerprint to long on... Your competitor does why not Genco ? Would rate it 5 stars then

Since the “big update” the app no longer opens at all. Just sits on a white screen eternally. Device info: iPhone 11 Pro Max iOS 14.7.1
