What they complain about

- Political commentary feels inappropriate for a prayer app
Lawsuit if you don’t make it free for mental anguish of a diagnosed evaluated mental health person.
Freely given: Jesus told his disciples in Matthew 10:8, "Freely you have received; freely give," referring to the ministry of healing and proclaiming the kingdom.Preaching without charge: The Apostle Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 9:18 that his reward was to offer the Gospel free of charge so as not to abuse his authority.
Unauthorized payments
Did not agree to being charged twice when signing up for this app. They make it impossible to get a refund. Rip off app!
Greatful
Thank you , Pray strengthens my faith, and knowing God more and more through reading and listening His word. Glory to God.
Adds
It terrible when you get 3 minutes worth of reading/ listening with 10 minutes of adds not to mention it’s the same 3 adds replayed 3 times like I get the dumb subscription based world we live in but really we have to pay to read / listen to God word you know the gift that’s freely given
Stopped Working
Wonderful when it works. Randomly stopped working. Deleted. Reinstalled. Still won’t work. Thinks that I don’t have internet but everything else works. ??
Quite Time with God
So convenient and enjoyable
Money scam
I canceled my subscription the same day I got the free trial. Then they tried to charge me twice! It declined. Now they charged me twice and I cannot get any support because my email is not verified. I VERIFIED MY EMAIK 3 times!!! And still not able to get any support for a refund of a subscription I never had!!! Don’t get this app
Awesome
Blessing to my family
Church vs. State
I have been listening to the app for going 2 years and I was in love with it until , I begin to here commentators speaking on the election, now this morning they are talking about trading and who’s running for office. Church and state or separate for a reason. I don’t believe that they should be able to tell you who to support. For that reason, I deleted the app immediately.
Too many ads
I like being able to learn more about the Bible & diving deeper into the parables but there’s way too many ads. You hear a ad before you start the audio, an ad every 3 minutes & it’s disheartening that every Bible led app requires payment in order to understand God’s word better
Riveting
The Pray app draws me daily with its myriad of choices to choose from to learn the Word of God. What a wonderful time we live in, with all the resources at our fingertips that can open the door to the wonder and glory of our heavenly Father. I love the PRAY app.
Cancellation
I would like to cancel this app it is so complicated and you keep trying to get more amounts please help me
Informative
The app has great functionality for just having the support when needed especially with the chat in their by the given situation, event etc regardless of what it is you wish to talk about it provides it to you. Would recommend!
Pray app
I often lose the place I am at when I come out of the app or click on another topic , can never find where I left off
Amazing app with one issue
I am loving my the app. It is an amazing concept. Pros: -Free mostly -Human narrators -Easy to navigate app -Amazing breakdown of verses. Cons: -widget does not show full verse and can not be expanded - when tapping on the widget, it does not go straight to the verse to read it in full instead it goes to a seemingly random verse
Pay to pray?
It’s paid? That’s disappointing
Why is there a pay wall
I am not here to judge for only the lord shall judge However this is my opinion Gods word should be free. Jesus walked the lands and preached for free he didn’t charge or ask for money. He didn’t want money in return for miracles all he wanted is for people to have faith and trust in the lord. To love one another as one self in fact he destroyed the taxers table and through there money on the ground for no house of worship should be paid for When I opened the app after the questions I had five paywalls right in my face at the same time showing the picture of Jesus
Please remove adds option
I enjoy the app however I’m trying to relax and an upbeat adds comes in. I’ll pay a reasonable amount to remove the adds. PLEASE
Could be more inclusive
Almost everything is locked and needs you to pay. I don't think something related to prayer shouldn't be this exclusive
3 pl
This product could be so much better with a little more Support. When I listen to a sermon the words I hear do not match the words I see. It’s incredibly hard to move from one sermon to another! My name is NOT Hungry Soooo! Why is that listed? I feel there is no human who will read this review! I love the good intent of this valuable app and with a little tweak here and there it would be one of my favorites!
Amazing app
I love that you can connect with God thru the use of your cell phone and with so much ease to use anywhere anytime!
Shady
I signed up for the free app and got charged 14.99 without any Warning and I was charged twice. 100% disputing with my CC. I find this very shady.
Great but…
I like the Pray app a lot. But I don’t like that it auto plays anytime I just open the app
One should not asked to pay to get God’s blessings
If God’s love is spread for free I would have been happy.
Lots and lots of ads
Paid apps should not have ads. This one is loaded and it’s always at the worst time. I’m about to quit paying for this app. Ive had it for years. Ads cause me to tune out. I’m going to have to find a similar app without ads that doesn’t charge $20 a month to get rid of ads. Also there are 30 different plans and nothing outlines what you get in each plan. I think I’m going to go with paying nothing since they get so much ad revenue. This seems less about the word than it was when I got it and more about money.
Prayer app
I love read thru the Bible and pastor Jack Graham.I don’t won’t to miss a day.It explains the Bible so well. Thank You J.P. The heroes of the Bible with Tony Evans is also fantastic. Both stories and they are told so well and explained after the reading and acting out.and it’s straight from the KJV Bible Which I love. I promise no-one could ever go wrong by making it a daily time of learning, Please give them a try and follow both!!! The Chosen People also is Soo good ,I love these that I have talked about and would go ad free but even us who have not gone as free these stories of the Bible are just as true without going ad free..There is always a way to listen ,your phone ,computer and even on internet. But there are people without anything so that’s where when could learn the stories of truth and spread the truth .. love love it!!
biblical greed
asks for money every time you open the app. how pathetic for a christian app.
Good platform to share uplifting and seek the glory of the Lord through prayer
Feel content to pray for someone, knowing that someone is also praying for me.
Got Click-Baited - Very Costly app for Bible Stories
I saw an ad for this app on Instagram that showed such a large library of Bible Stories so I downloaded this app. And when I tried to listen the stories I got to know that I have to pay ₹4099 for subscription. Even prayers are being sold here. The ‘YouVersion Bible App’ is far much better than this app in everything and all that for FREE. This is the real sharing of the Word of God.
My experience
Hi. Good app to have. However there are days when it just stalls on refreshing the page. Weekend sermons : repetitious in some areas - repeating the same thing. And they go too long. 20 minutes max is good. 45 minutes is way too long. And then there are 3 part series. I just enjoy hearing the chapters every morning on my walks before work. Only time it’s peaceful. I’d also like to suggest that Ps Jack Graham recites close to what was already said! Can there be a bit more to assist with the context of the chapter reading? Thanking you. God bless
Amazing
This app has become a fixture in my life, truly great.
Heresy
Really I go through all of it and you recommend Steven Furtick false preacher
Sam
Good content
Good.
It is a good app but the only issues is that a lot of the content you have to pay for. It’s a well designed app tho.
Great app
Love this app. No more excuses. Makes listening to the Word and meditation so easy. I LOVE the Bible stories and the choices of things to listen to seem endless. Highly recommended if you struggle with consistency.
FRAUDULENT APP
Did the free trial and immediately hated the app and cancelled everything. Now, a week later, I got 2 charges from Idaho and California each for $14.99, so $30 total. I went back into the app and it says I have no subscription, but yet my card was charged twice. What a scam! To request a refund you have to go through Apple. Do not get this stupid app or they will steal from you.
Too loud
I love the app, I have found however that the dramatic music can drown out things that are being said when the characters are speaking during a dramatic retelling, I’d really like to catch everything being said, I think it he background music should be lowered when a character is speaking as it tends to get louder and louder as they speak
Options of Bible versions
It is disappointing that the daily bible verse only comes in King James Version. It would be refreshing to have a variety of options to choose from.
Friends are awesome
My friend told me about this app and I absolutely love it! Giving more and more time to my God is a beautiful thing. You open it and it makes you want to stay and look at more and read more and more. It’s great!
Terrible experience
I got charged 50$. For an app full of add surcharge it’s almost impossible to avoid clicking on a donation by accident terrible ui experience
Wonderful prayer app
Better than any other praying app. This app has something for everyone. May the Lord Bless the founders and staff of this app.
Monthly payments
The app is great but with $11.99 a month, I’m sorry but you shouldn’t have to pay to read more about the word of the lord. You can get the same straight from the bible at no cost
Grateful
This app has changed my life! Thank u Jesus!
Fraud
App is debiting money from my account that I didn’t consent to. It has hidden “donations” section that automatically signs you up to donate to people without getting consent from you.
Pray.com
Best app.
Awesome 👍🏻
Thanks
