KD-T925BTS - Working
Here’s how I got mine to work. I have a KD-T925BTS. I was having trouble initially getting the app to work fully, at first only being able to control the music on my phone but nothing else and ended up uninstalling, reinstalling etc. What worked is: 1. On the radio settings, under System, you just enable the “Remote” functionality. 2. After a couple unsuccessful tries it finally paired to remote app and indicated I needed to upgrade the radio firmware. 3. I upgraded the radio firmware and INSTANTLY, radio connected to the remote app and I was bake to set the EQ, display color, speaker settings etc. Again this is what is worked for me and this model of JVC but worth trying for other models too .

App crashed before I could even use
Tried to download this app, but genuinely I couldn’t even open it. Every time I tried the app would crash. I tried resetting my phone, tried deleting other apps, tried uninstalling and reinstalling, nothing worked.

I don’t know why people are having difficulty I have had nothing but success but then again I’m not an idiot. If you have trouble then it must be with you🤣 overall this is a wonderful app I was not expecting all the things I can do with my sound. Sound separation etc was really cool because now my sound is so much clearer. I highly recommend this app to any new people deciding on it. To the developers: great app and maybe think about putting a price on this app I would’ve paid an upgrade service up to $10 ✌️

I inherited this radio when buying my car. I’ve spent years to finally get it connect and now it only pops up and plays some random play list I have no clue how it got. I can’t delete it can’t find info on how to change it. I have to wait for it to load that list before I can go turn on Apple Music and choose the music I really want. It’s frustrating I’m not an idiot but I also don’t waste a ton of time on this issue as well it’s not ultimately important. Just irritating.

Funktioniert nicht richtig
Ich bin zwar verbunden aber es funktioniert nur als Player mit Musik vom Handy. Kann sonst nichts einstellen. Und dann auch nur auf Englisch. Die S Version ist auf deutsch aber funktioniert nicht mit meinem Radio. Irgendwie schade. Das wird mein letztes Gerät von JVC sein.

Remote app
Let me start off by saying this app is pure garbage and does nothing that it says it does! Had to reset all my settings on my iPhone just to be able to download it and that should have been a dead giveaway that it was junk and a total waste of phone storage. My advice is don’t waste your time downloading it!

Nach mühsamer Verbindung der App (Radio muss in den Einstellungen unter App Control auf iOS umgestellt werden) können diverse Einstellungen einfacher bzw. schneller vorgenommen werden, als über die Radiomenüführung. Die App könnte etwas übersichtlicher Gestaltet sein. Trotzdem ein nettes Add-On.

App is garbage
App closes as soon as you open it, don’t buy a JVC radio if you plan on controlling it with the app.
So much potential
#1. It’s very hard to trust that this app has even saved your settings. It’s also not necessary in the least that this has an in house music player...the phone has that already. To assume anyone would power this up every time they drive is a stretch. The app also has to reboot every time you switch apps for a second and the old times are quite bad. Also very hard to understand what a Bass on/off switch is for in the equalizer settings, especially when you have a subwoofer connected. It seems like it was made then never tested then forgotten. Please update

Works... in a fashion. Clunky in its behaviour when connecting or in trying to navigate music. Seems to start playing the same track every time I load it up! Desperately overdue for update.

Ok so what i did is i went into the settings on my KW-R930BT, Remote App>Select>iOS>Yes and it connected no problem after that I hope this helps other folk

Tried to use it to connect my car
Won’t let me connect to my car it says select an accessory And the list is blank then if I hit cancel it says restart receiver and hit iPod and it still won’t connect
Just okay
It really doesn’t do anything amazing, just a different look for playing music. There’s no settings or controls beyond simple music playing. It quickly connects via Bluetooth when I use it, the USB line in gives crisper music quality.

This app constantly crashes and looks very outdated along with the fact I can’t even change the display of the deck I just purchased to dancing light or flow. Pointless.

По шнуру работает отлично,всё настраивает. По синезубу не подключается,не видит магнитолу. Но при этом музыку с телефона без шнура проигрывает,громкая связь работает. Кому-то удалось подключить прогу через зуб?
Failure
This app is wonky AH! Takes an hour to figure out how to get the app to connect to your stereo. Then once it does it constantly disconnects whenever you do anything else on your phone. App will only play music from your phone via BT so connecting via USB is non existent of which USB is the better quality. Why can’t the Bluetooth just be used for controls. I don’t need a media player within the jvc app. When my phone does it the best. Obviously JVC gave up on this 2 years ago cause that was the last update they put out for this app.

Eigentlich eine Super Idee: wir nutzen das im Wohnwagen um das Radio zu steuern um nicht jedes Mal aufstehen zu müssen. Das hat nach der ersten Installation auch gut funktioniert. ABER : auf einmal heißt es “failed to connect” obwohl Telefonanrufe auf das Radio umgeleitet werden (sehr nervig). Die für uns wichtig Sachen wie Lautstärkeregelung , Sendersuchlauf ect gehen nicht mehr und ich habe keine Lust jedes Mal alles zu resetten und neu zu installieren...

По БТ выдает ошибку подключения, через шнур управляет только воспроизведением музыки на самом телефоне - смысл приложения так и не понял, может чего-то недопонимаю. Простенький хелп к проге был бы к стати.

В первую очередь скажу спасибо производителю за отличную магнитолу KD-889-BT, за приятный сочный звук! Купил ее взамен штатной на Рено Меган. Так как хотел музыку с сабвуфером. Все получилось, с усилителем как положено установил, звук просто кайф. Очень много настроек звука, регулировки саба, широкополосный эквалайзер, даже срез частот, и цена адекват - в районе 7 тыс. Слушаю музыку по Блютус- качество правда немного теряется. Всё-таки управление на самой магнитоле не самое удобное, поначалу вообще не мог сообразить, но потом привык. А вот если бы Вы сделали управление по Блютус на телефоне - чтобы можно было двигать эквалайзер, менять дорожки, не только те что проигрываются через сам Блютус, вот это был бы прорыв, бомба! Не смог подключиться к подрулевому управлению в машине - разные конструкции. Хочу управлять с телефона, сделайте платный проигрыватель - я куплю!!! Спасибо!
