Awesome app!
Bugs, bugs and more Bugs
Never had an app with such a poor quality, every update fixes one bug and introduces two new.
Gute app
Tut was Sie soll
Don’t retrieve all messages
The app does not show all messages from the chat (that I can only see from the browser )
Great
Great
So bad
I use this chat for seeking alpha. They call it rocket crap. I agree it’s brutal.
Looses login
I constantly have to close my apps to be able to reopen the chat. It does not remember my previous access credentials even from one day ago.
Gut Nicht gut genug
Robust could but privacy management tricky
The app is pretty reliable but it would be helpful if administrators could have more efficient control over personal information displays.
OMG!
Never seen such a basic social app! Trouble logging in all the times, no notifications which i really need. Can’t believe seekingAlpha partnered with this app…
Bitte beheben!
Keyboard not working
I use rocket.chat on iPad OS 17.1 and M2 iPad pro with logitech keyboard case. I cannot type anything now and very buggy. I cannot switch to other chat session and app just crashes all the time. It was working fine with iPad OS 16.
Anmeldeprozess
Remarkable
I love it
App does not work with third parties
Seems like every few weeks the app will not let you login and has to be deleted and reloaded. Search function doesn’t work well. Even opening the app via the web it doesn’t function properly abs has to closed and reopened. Too many glitches to list. Do yourself a favor and use Slack or Discord. Rocket chat knows about these issues and is unable to fix them.
Neue Nachricht
Cannot change iOS notification sound.
Please for the love of everything add the simple ability to change the sound of notifications for this app. It sounds the same as many other apps and makes using rocket chat for work incredibly frustrating.
Awesome app
Working great, constant updates to the server.
Rocket Chat Sucks
Forced to use rocket chat because I am a Seeking Alpha subscriber. No one i know I likes it. Prefer Slack or Teams better. Buggy. Search doesn't work most of the time. Cant log in half the time. Have spent hours trouble shooting. One star is one star too many. Sorry but Rocket Chat sucks.
A little clanky
The UI isn’t very intuitive. I don’t notifications and overall my experience was bad.
Leider keine „gesehen“ Funktion.
Pretty good
Not bad
RocketChat is inconsistent and unreliable
I’m forced to use this sub par solution for work. As bad as the app is on the phone it’s magnitudes worse on the computer. The only reason a company chooses this, is due to price. That said, if you have any say, don’t let your company use this garbage. The other solutions are worth the extra money.
Enjoying it
Good app so far, looking forward to the next few years of roadmap features
Cant stay logged in
You get logged out of the server when you close the app, so annoying to enter information to reenter the server every time you load the app.
Great communications app. Easy to set up and use
Nice ui and has strong features to allow anyone to self-host and control their data
Clunky, not intuitive. Notification issues
I used Slack for a couple of years and it worked way better than this. My main issue is the consistency of notifications. All my notifications settings are the same on every app on my iphone12 Max. But my company now uses Rocket.Chat, so now I can’t count on getting Badges or Sounds to let me know that a job has come up. EVERY OTHER APP that I use is consistent. This is troublesome and costs me money when I can’t accept a job because i didn’t get any notifications. And the inconsistency with the filter that doesn’t stay on the last thing i selected. I go back one screen, come back and it’s back to ALL.
Ok
An ok software
Logs me out!!
I am relying on this messenger for work and when it silently logs me out for no reason is no good! Unacceptable!
No ios notification
No ios notification for any chat.
Best in class for the price!
Great product on iPhone, iPad and more. Best in class for the price!
Please fix this app!
When I first downloaded this app last year, it worked. But for the last few months if someone messages me, I get the notification and when I click on the notification it opens the app but there’s no message there. I don’t see any new messages through the app and half the time my messages don’t get sent!
Very good on-premise solution !!!
Very complete with the latest update , so many features. Great for privacy
Buggy
This app is for the most part stable but if you want to download new versions you have to uninstall and reinstall it every time. It isn’t user friendly when it comes time to change your password or allow a two-step verification process. Simply put, the app isn’t bad as long as you don’t try to make any sort of change
Decent features - some quirks need fixing
This app is great at some things, and buggy at others. It's not nearly as user-friendly as Telegram, especially in its voice-recorded messages for example. That being said, there are some powerful tools which allow for a company or organization to control all groups + having groups transparent to others in the organization.
Great! Exactly what I needed.
Private and fully functional.
Useless app
Can’t even connect to ssl sites waste of time best stick to browser
Add App Lock
Great app, works well and is stable. It would be even better if there was an option to lock the app behind Touch ID/Passcode for added security.
Messages don’t show up
Quite often I get notifications of new posts, but when I click on them there is nothing new showing. The issue can last for hours at a time and I miss all the messages that were posted.
Good app
I am having a hard time making the notifications work
Streamlines my workplace communications
Downloaded the mobile app after my employer started using the desktop platform for everyday internal communications. The mobile app meshes seamlessly and allows me to stay in the loop when I’m away from my desk (though I shut it down at the end of the workday).
Crash central
Crashes on two separate devices.
Great, but has some bugs
The app itself is clean and easily navigable. I find that it has features that outperform it’s desktop counterpart in terms of UI and navigation. Where I think it falls short is in the bugs that can prevent smooth conversation. The transitions of what is typed on desktop v. mobile app are laggy and you can miss context from simply going to another window and returning to the app, which won’t load the convo in sequence. Keep up the improvements.
Notifications sucks although I like dark mode
Cool dark mode features and works well. Notifications could use some updating. Syncing with PC needs also attention. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
Good Chat App
The App is simple to use and i have yet to encounter a crash or bug.
