Super helpful
It’s so much easy to segregate garbage now, since there are information to where and when will you put the exact schedule per each item.
Doesn’t even work
No matter what you do, restart phone, everything, won’t load, doesn’t work, just like the city councillors. More wasted millions, bravo. Are you working on the in apps games!!! Clap. Clap. Clap.
I like it
I like the app. I enjoy how you can search to find out what goes where. I like the reminders on collection day although lately I can’t seem to get my notifications so a bit frustrating. Overall a good app
Still buggy
Several places show a question or statement that is truncated and you have to guess what’s being asked
Super useful
I like the sorting lookup feature
No longer works
Since the last update this app no longer works. I have reloaded the app with no success. Why break what was not broken.
Waste Wise App
Could be more inclusive. When an item isn’t listed, there isn’t a way to “tick off” components to assist with making a choice. Instead a request is put in to add to the listing. Whether that is actually done, who knows Edmonton NEEDS a blue bin. When I asked about it to my city councillor I was told that the cost of repurposing the garbage trucks was not feasible. No mention was made of the cost of injuries to the men who jump on and off the trucks many many times a day to pick up the blue bags. Space in a garage likely isn’t an issue as a frame to hold the blue bags open occupies a just slightly larger amount of space. Calgary has blue bins, Regina (I know not in Alberta) has blue bins, why not Edmonton. Back in the rollout of the bins, post Covid, I spoke with a 311 rep and was told that 3 colours of bins would be “too confusing, too complicated”. Really!!

As advertised
Really helpful and tells you when the trash will be picked up as advertised.
This App needs an upgrade!
This app is not working as previous one, there is no calendar on the calendar icon!! Just search option which is very frustrating as you want to see your next garbage n recycling day, yard waste etc it only gives notification about it one day before and on the day !! Please change it back as it was before!
Not as good as city of Calgary list and crashes
Often the app closes during a search. City of Calgary has a comprehensive list that is also linked to additional info. Edmonton has a clickable category I.e. plastics and then you search an item. It’s not very user friendly and not comprehensive. What else is new when you consider Edmonton services, projects and taxes.
Thank you
Really thankful to the people who created this app. Thank you so much for your hard work!
Doesn’t work
I have been stuck on the calendar section for months. Tried to delete and add again.. still no fix. Have email for assistance no reply. The App is now useless.
Could be better
Useful yes The big bin events could focus on my area I think you should also add snow removal and street sweeping schedule
Thank you for your hard work!
Very helpful, thank you!
Update
Your new update is horrible all it does is nothing It stays on WasteWise screen other then that it does nothing
Styrofoam
When I try to figure out where and how to get rid of pieces of styrofoam the app crashes.
Blue bin needed
The birds don’t get at it but it’s hard to clean it
It’s gone rogue.
For some reason, I lost my settings and cannot add my address. It wants to add places like Washington, Florida, and Nebraska. Or, it substitutes another Edmonton address totally different by a hundred blocks!
Garbage
It’s a good app.but I wish to be notified on Tuesday because I always have to go to app .to see what needs to be put out thank you
👍
Very handy to find out pick up schedules and for sorting out recycling articles
WasteWise only one address supported
This app is poor for those who have more than one address to maintain.
Edmonton waste wise
Love this system the city is cleaner and less animals in the garbage.
Handy app to have
It’s useful to know which days are selected for pickup in your area with a quick look on the app . For those who want to put the effort into recycling with minimal “wishcycling”, it’s helpful in selecting what is appropriate for the blue bag and what is not. And the app is well designed as well which makes it easy to use. Well done!
Nice app
Very helpful
