Still not bored of it. They keep it interesting. Just wish it would be possible to get the paid characters for free by completing certain points/tasks
Pay 2 Win x Infinity
First off, how is this 4.5 stars when you read reviews and every other review is 1 star? Game almost always has you as the underdog. Skill matters early on as you easily wreck bad gamers. As your ranking improves though, you are constantly pitted against people twice your level with way more advantage from the passive skill tree/items etc. Download if you want to feel the urge to buy packs every other game, because an upgrade only lasts as long as your next bump up the ranking. Some suggestions that would keep me playing and spending money: Fix match making. It should be based on a power number using skill tree progress/item power. Make the skill tree more dynamic. Should be able to choose a path for different play styles.
Love the game. But…
I truly love this game. I played OG mushroom wars on console. My 2 biggest gripes about this app/ game. Every single turn is paywall after paywall. Also watching the ads / videos NEVER works and you don’t get the reward. Seems scamming/ suspicious. I completely understand a free game having some paywalls to pay for the development team and etc. but it’s seriously every single turn you have it. You get 1 free story/ campaign chapter then it’s boom. Pay for more or go play multiplayer. Which is actually a fun game mode with very few P2W problems. @ Developers : PLEASE fix the ads/ rewards. Not everyone wants to crack open their wallet and drop money into games especially when they can’t even watch an ad and get something for free!
Extra ability
I’ve played this game for years, longer than any other game and it’s always been great. However they completely ruined the balance of the game when they added a feature that allows you to use an ability from a different hero as yours and it doesn’t even cost energy to use. If you have the additional ability and your opponent doesn’t you are almost guaranteed to win. I wish they’d add a mode where you can play only against other people who don’t have the extra ability. Especially when doing challenges or special events. Asides from that the game is great very playable with out paying for unlimited charges with your characters in fact makes it fun because it forces you to use other characters instead of sticking to just one.
Buggy
It seems to be very buggy lately. Odd things happening in matches and matches failing with error reports. Getting a little tiresome.
Great Game
This game is great for anyone who is bored. The mushrooms are cute and the graphics are amazing. Although prices are high for purchasing new heros , I don’t see why people are rating this game three stars or less. This is an absolutely fantastic game to play.

The game cant start after last update !!
After the last update two days ago, the game no longer opens, only the start screen appears and after the reloading bar ends, the game hangs, I try to redownliad the game but still same problem. Please issue a repair update to solve the problem. If i turned off the internet the game open and works fine but once the internet is on the game immediately stop and freeze till i force close the game. ** my mobike: iPhone 12 / ios 26

Too many bots
This game is so addicting and really fun to play, but the amount of bots you get really mess up the gameplay, one after the other gets very boring, very quickly.
Decent game
To many unfair match ups in ranked mode. You get people with super high level skills and items even when you are newer and lower level. Also I have noticed a bunch of cheaters that blow right through you cause they use cheats for way faster than normal upgrades and troop growth far beyond what you can actually do and there is literally no way to report they are cheating. Cause that makes sense. Makes it seem like the devs don’t care about people cheating in their game or having a fair system for a “ranked mode”. Unfortunately uninstalled because of these inconsistencies.

I’m at 650 trophies and I get matched with people with 1500 trophies in 2v2 it’s even worse the 2 games I’ve played it was with 10k trophies player but the game itself is really enjoyable
Cool Game But its Pay to Win
This is a very nice little game, unfortunately is riddle now with ads and it’s paid to win where some people can use ability if they’re willing to pay to have unlimited energy.

Can't play game without phone overheating. Update makes game unplayable.

The game has just started freezing halfway through loading tonight. I have turned my phone off and on and am scared to delete the game to reinstall it in case I lose all my progress. I don’t know any alternative. Please help.

Never before has a game had more ads and been more pushy on buying things, gives a prompt to buy something after every match, the screen is nothing but “buy this thing” very gross
Pretty decent
No forced ads is great, but every other ad I watch for a benefit winds up needing me to force close the game. Please look into this.
Battery usage
I just got a new iPhone, and for some reason this game begins to consume lots of battery. I played 2 games in 5 minutes and my phone battery dropped from 13% to 7 %. Also the phone got very hot. The phone itself seems to be fine, none of the other apps I use had this problem.

Just wow
Everything on this game is pay to win. Can you still play free? Absolutely. Will you ever have fun in your matches without getting completely stomped by someone who has their upgrades way higher than yours? Probably not. Game is big on paying for artifacts that make you overpowered and not to mention the matchmaking is garbage and you can match with someone who is way higher level than you that you have no chance of beating. Don’t worry though they’ll match you up with bots so you win a few rounds every now and again. TLDR: throw a couple thousand dollars into this game and you too can win with zero skill.
Great game but…
Without thinking that I enjoy games without wanting to spend money on it- I must admit the amount of adverts that ‘gets stuck..’ is so annoying! This means I have to watch adverts without getting the proposed charge ups or treasure space. Please fix it if possible
2026 Update - Game Dead
Sort reviews by most recent and you’ll see that calling this a 4.5 game is no longer accurate. Multiplayer has introduced bots due to dying player base. Monetization has ruined any illusion of balanced strategy based gameplay. Strategy takes a back seat to paying. Pay to win players can make egregious tactical decisions with little to no repercussions, while skilled players can make tactically sound decisions and still lose due to the increased passive skills. I’ve regularly played matches where my opponent has a 10-30% advantage to troop speed, defense, offense, and troop production. In effect it’s like the Bahamas going to war with the United States. None of these glaring imbalances will prevent the devs from saying “we ensure that skilled players can come or on top using good strategy!” In a weak attempt to provide cannon fodder to their few remaining whales. Some of the BEST game mechanics available do an RTS which is why I give it 2 stars. I tip my hat to the designers.
Good but bad
The game is great very captivating and satisfying but when you realise the starter guy can press 1 button at the right time and win the game its dumb. Glad I didn’t pile money into the game as usual. I’m gonna stop playing now. One too many near wins foiled by an op ability
Addictive
I’ve played this game nearly everyday over the last 14 months. The games are short 1-2 minutes so you can have a quick thrash without being too engaged, however you can easily back 10,20,100 games back to back and wonder were the time has gone. Yes you can spend money if you wish and I have. It isn’t as expensive as some games that I have played. However the difference is that if your good at this game then you can still beat players that have paid, that can’t be said for all games!

Use to be so fun. The difficulty went from a challenge to WTF. You just get swarmed by AI at the beginning when they are way OP. The hell yall do to the game?? Lvl 49 specifically is complete and absolute BS.
Uninstalled because of boggi
Uninstalled because the p2w hero boggi is almost impossible to beat and has a skill that is way too overpowered, id just resign when wed match and today was the last straw. Fun game when it’s with friends though!
Awful strategy game
It’s pay to win and there’s no strategy to this, even playing campaign is designed against you. Also playing campaign, the AI is too powerful, they know exactly where you’re gonna send your troops and how much your towers have. It’s to the point where it’s not even fun anymore
Good if you pay to play
Good game but you will play in a lot of mismatches, there are characters you buy and their skills are far superior to the normal ones so you have no chance of beating them. Plus you play against characters who are a very different level from you, sometimes in your favour sometimes not, if you want to test your skills evenly this is not the best game for you.

Long time player of this game…. It’s gone downhill considerably. The game was once balanced and fun to play but it’s become, and becoming more play to win. Weapons and skills that can only be purchased gives an almost insurmountable advantage to players who shell out the money. The premium mode (also an extra purchase) seems to give favorable matchups and if you don’t have it, the matchmaking seems to match you up against these play for win players. Not always, but it seems more favorable. I believe every game developer has a right to make money off a quality product but this game has done so at the expense of gameplay and experience. So by all means, play if you are willing to spend the money or are patient with bad matchmaking. Otherwise, might want to skip this game before it sucks you in.

I think I’ve got some characters at a good level but finding myself playing people a lot higher levels and more powerful so therefore struggling to enjoy the game or trying to win some.
