First of all…worth downloading! Better then most of the ad infested trash in the game store. Pros- No forced ads Competitive alliance based game Even if you get hit, you don’t lose much…no perma death soldiers like RoK or SoS Cons- When you choose an ad for timer reduction or a chest…they are long! 60 second headaches…over and over Pay2Win! There are 2 servers…”legacy” which has been around forever…like 10 years..,you will never hang there. And the “New” server which is like 90 days old. It’s pretty balanced except for a French team at the top with several thousand dollar a month spenders
Another PAY to PLAY
Gems are the main source of commerce in this game and you have to buy them with real money, the game gives you a few free everyday but to play you have to buy more gems. Every battle, every build, every action is made better with gems that cost you money. This game might be a fun game but unless you spend gems then you are constantly waiting for something to finish building or waiting for some other resource that the game controls. So spend $ or wait..
Advertisements Are Pervasive and Flawed
I’ve played this game for a few years so know what I’m talking about. The advertisements have gotten longer and sometimes never quit so you have to shut down your phone and hope you can get back to the game. There is no easy way to file a complaint or reach help, so I am resorting to filing this evaluation. Otherwise the game is pretty good.

Description: Dear Flaregames Support Team, I am experiencing a recurring connection issue with Royal Revolt 2 on my iPhone that has been happening for a long time. Problem: Every few days/weeks the game shows "Could not establish connection" or "Cannot connect to server" error. My internet connection is working perfectly fine (other apps, browsing, YouTube, etc. all work without any issue). The only way to fix it is to completely delete the game and reinstall it. After reinstalling it works fine again for some time, then the same error returns. This is very frustrating and time-consuming.

Great game. Just a few user friendly tweaks would be nice. A larger health bar or better indicator of low health would be cool.

Downgrade from Royal Revolt 1
If you’re looking for an experience like the original royal revolt, your out of luck. They took some of the core elements that made the original great, then wrapped it up in a pay to win clash of clans like experience. The game is alright but you have to wait days for upgrades to take place (which of course can be sped up with the use of gems), and you have to use food in order to do attacks. Why do game studios take great projects then ruin it by trying to squeeze money out of the players…
Horrible
Don’t bother either this game. You have to spend a bloody fortune just to be decent. Flare is terrible at getting back with you if and when you have a problem. Bug after bug after bug. Seriously, don’t get it.

1st review did a mystery dump much like the mystery death experienced in the game :( Game is pay to play to the max. Constant lock outs which cheat you out of days worth of thing you have to buy. Recent change have send old players, one that have played for years back to day one. This game requires $$$ in one way or the other. Whether in game purchases or upgrading your device. When locked out you must provide proof you bought something to get back on. They ruined a great game.
The trophy system is broken
I'm at around 1600 trophies and can't progress because the most I can win per battle is 5-7 trophies, and if I lose a single attack it's between -25 and-65 trophies. I just spent 2 days crawling from 1650 to 1750 trophies, then lost two attacks and am down to 1630 trophies. Been so close to rage-quit so many times. Giving you 1* instead, so you'll listen to your players. Everyone agrees the balance is insane, broken.

I’ve been playing Royal Revolt 2 for years now, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best strategy games ever made. The mix of tower defense and real-time strategy is perfectly balanced — every battle feels unique, every upgrade feels rewarding, and the competition keeps you coming back for more. The developers have done an amazing job keeping the game fresh with regular updates, new events, and exciting challenges. Building and defending your own kingdom while planning the perfect attack on others never gets old. The graphics are stunning, the gameplay is smooth, and the community is fantastic. After all this time, I’m still discovering new tactics and strategies — that’s how deep and engaging this game really is. If you love strategy games with a perfect mix of action, planning, and creativity, Royal Revolt 2 is an absolute must-try.

I really love it but I can’t change the character gender to a female
I thought…
… why not? I played Kingdom Rush years ago & sampling new TD games can be fun but the constant “Hey. Hey. Hey” of the intrusive “guide” got on my nerves. The game seems run by a control freak AI that will not leave you in peace to explore. Other than that the game animations look good and there are aspects that are fun (like calling the troops). Still, they don’t make up for the annoyances. Three stars for design and -1 star for the rest.

Great game
Love playing this game but 1 problem I have is the medal system,if I pause the game for to long it will take you to the loading screen again which will cause you to lose medals. Also if playing a match where I can only win 7 medals for a win a loss will take up to 50 plus which is a hell of a lot considering how many matches you’ll need to play to win them back.Edit: still taking a ton load of medals off you I see, left it on pause, only for it to go off, caused me to lose 50+ medals, it takes about 6 matches just to earn that..😳😳

New level of unjust bad
Every update they make it worse. The developers are actively trying to destroy this game. Last time your hero was able to level up was 10 years ago however last time units level up was a few months ago. My hero dies faster than my units! This is new level bad! I need to open all my chests and quit this unfair game.

There is harassment in this game from one player to another and Flare must fix the problem that allows one player to do multiple fights on another player within a short period of time to the point of harassment. I have been playing this game for years and have spent a few thousand dollars because it’s been so much fun. However there are now some players that are just mean and I hate to think that Flare would allow a good and loyal player to consider leaving the game because of harassing players. This should be an easy fix. Flare, please fix this problem. No more money until the harassment stops.
Super Fun
A great mesh of tower defense, base building, and castle assault. Several hours in and there has been a good amount of content that I’m excited to chip away at. It runs great so far! Only thing that has bugged me is that even when I am waiting for my “energy” or in this game bread to recharge a little red arrow keeps prompting me to attack someone even though I can’t. Not a huge deal but would be great if you fixed it. Other than than loving the game!

IoS users are funneled into 3rd party vendor now for purchases instead of using app store. I was robbed out of two purchases so use caution

Awesome game I would give it five stars but they gave me an uber chest, but the only way to open it is to invite friends or something including Facebook can’t remember what it is but not cool. It’s a kids game.

I love this game, Royal Revolt 2 is an amazing game, but in my opinion, Royal Revolt 1 is better. Please bring it back, I played this game daily and I would love to be able to do that again. I can’t play it because it’s not updated for iPhone 13. If you see this Flaregames, please bring back Royal Revolt 1.
No real save feature...for what reason?
Don't get me wrong, great game. I'd rate it 5 stars if it weren't for well...check the title. every now and then the game will get stuck with a permanent connection error (usually a result of a single attempt to login with a weak connection) which cant be undone by getting a good connection and restarting your device so your only solution is to re-install. Fair enough. After all I shouldn't lose my save after MANUALLY clicking the icloud save enabled button right?? (why would that not be automatic? very incompetent decision in my opinion and the only game at least on mobile I've seen ever do that). Well I was wrong, even while making sure that option was checked my progress was not saved upon starting the app. VERY frustrating as someone who was supported the game with actual currency!! Despite the frustration I reached out to the support team and with very little shock, received no response for days. Was about to give up but saw this game has an official discord and I reached out to I guess some sort of person with a direct contact to their support team? WHY DID I HAVE TO DO THIS FOR SOMEONE TO LOOK AT A TICKET? your support team is clearly not doing their job if they need to be reminded of it... Anyways a little over a week later they finally reach out and were able to retrieve my account. Yay account recovered in only 10 ish days. noticed on the discord the average wait time for tickets was 30-40 days, turns out I actually was lucky. Regardless that should've been the end of this ordeal right? right?? Connection error happened again. However I had prepped for this occasion by saving a code that is unique to each account as yet another way to retrieve your data as opposed to using their USELESS "icloud save" feature. (Didn't see the need to copy it the first time as I figured their own save feature works). Anyways I of course copied it as I was NOT interested in dealing with their unresponsive support team again...code didn't even fit. I am not kidding you this was yet another save feature that DOES NOT WORK!!!! I'm not waiting possibly 30+ days to get my account back again just for this bull **** to happen later down the line. I'm tired. I'm frustrated. I'm done. Sincerely, A once dedicated fan

Good game but
They want to charge you for gold you need to build, you can farm it from other players on battles but to battle you need food which is also hard to get and then they give you the option to pay for it with real money. So yea if you want to play it know they aim to put a hole in your wallet.

Cannot connect
Downloaded game last week. Was going great. For the last day I have been unable to connect. Worried if I delete the game and reinstall I will have to start over.
An amazing game but I sadly lost my account
It is an amazing game! And I definitely encourage you to play it! I have been playing for the past three years and have gotten extremely good. But some people started using my iCloud and took my account. And now I don’t bother trying to play again but still a good game.
Possible bug
For the past couples of days I’ve been needing to delete the game and redownloading it to get a connection to the server, it’s annoying. I do not know if it’s a issue to multiples of people but it’s been a nuisance. Once addresses I’ll change the star rating. Edit: So far I haven’t been receiving the connection error

As stated before...why, why, why....do you really need this many adverts, do they need to be that long, I used to recommend this game, because it is a good game...not any more, I may as well switch on the tv and watch ITV, you have become a commercial channel... Its not about the gameplay, deleting now, shame but your own demise!
Cool but....
This game is everything a casual gamer like me could want but ever since the new update it immediately lags me out after a few seconds and I cannot do anything about it I have tried to delete some apps to try and make it run smoother but nothing has happened so pls try to fix this issue or I will miss out on festival rewards. Pls fix ASAP
