I like kawartha credit union because the app works perfectly and if there happens to be a problem I can walk into the credit union or call by phone to speak to someone in person.
Terrible app
Constantly not working and constantly logging you out of YOUR OWN BANK ACCOUNT, terrible app and terrible programmers, I don’t know who they hired to develop this app, but they are actually braindead.

Simple operation and efficient processing.
Constant glitches
Depositing e-transfers the open app pop up won’t show up so you have to deposit them online. Depositing a cheque the picture orientation is the wrong way and it won’t change. Every time I need to do something important the app doesn’t work. The amount of glitches in this app are infuriating. To the point where I am considering switching banks.

Very annoying app
Was working great the last few years but for last 2 months or so it’s constantly wanting me to re enter my card info to be able to log in. Not very convenient went I’m out and about without my card and I need to log in to send a transfer. Just put my card info in 2 days ago and now it wants it again. Paying bills will have to wait.

Happy with it just wished it had face recognition to sign in.
No credit card monitoring.
I have a Collabria Mastercard through Kawartha Credit Union and I can’t check the balance through the app. This is very frustrating as my paper bill never came this month so I am late paying my bill which will affect my credit. It would be so handy if I could just login to the app to monitor my credit card every month.

I send money transfer to same people each two weeks should recognize it instead of verification number code that only stays for u to see for seconds

Does not pass Interac deposits through sign in
In accepting an Interac e-transfer, if you are not logged in, the app does not pass the deposit request though the login process. Interac e-transfer needs to go through a second request. Other financial institutions are able to do this seemlessly, but not KCU.

The app is to slow and I think it needs to be updated to have more features. (Graphs showing spending) Does the job tho.

It would be nice for the user to change the name of their accounts instead of going into the Kawartha branch for such a small request.

Not user friendly
You can’t pay your credit card in the app. It’s not user friendly. It doesn’t offer tips for problem solving or general set up. Most apps will have a beginners guide or something but this one doesn’t and it just disappointing to use.
Customer Contact Centre
Spoke to Denise to properly correct my login routine and could not be more impressed. Friendly, helpful and professional all rolled into one. I worked in financial services for 38 years and can readily identify top notch customer service when I see it. Kudos to Denise. JOB WELL DONE!!

Every time I update this app I can’t sign back in. I have to call to get assistance. Very frustrating

I don’t like having to put in a verification number every time I log in.
User friendly
Much more user friendly than any other banking app I have used in the past.
Definitely needs some upgrades
It works and gets your basic banking done, however other banks have moved more to an online service. Where this bank falls short of. Hope they spend more money on adding more features like the big banks have

Awesome dealing with KCU, have not had a bad experience yet, staff always helpful and accommodating, would recommend KCU to anyone.

New update is awful and is making me want to switch my bank.

I feel that when a transaction is cancelled there shd not be a fee charged to the member
Always issues
There seems to be a lot of issues lately with the app. Having to log in multiple times to get things to work correctly is infuriating.
2 factor Auth terrible
My app worked great until they forced 2 step. Now I will delete it. I must enter a pac manually and then access my email account for another code to enter. Facial recognition is not recognized by IOS on my phone. Stick to a desktop I guess.

Love the quick balance feature and being able to deposit my cheque’s from my phone! If I run into issues the Contact Centre is fantastic and short wait times.
Kawartha credit union app sucks
Always a problem with updates, telling me my login info is wrong. Super frustrating and very inconvenient. I am about to close this account and switch banks.
