Best Airsoft Buy/Sell/Trade App
This is the best outdated platform on the current market that allows users to post, and BUY/SELL/TRADE airsoft specific items!
Don’t ask questions
If people cared to review this app they would go on their own accord. Ask me 10 times wile I use the app and I’ll happily give you one star . Plus this app rips off real players and helps people who care about sales of overpriced temu products or people shipping item right off Amazon . Literally using their personal Amazon account to sell on this app and shipped with their account. Like do you not se how that will push away new players when they find out they wasted 10 more dollars on what they could’ve bought on Amazon themselves
very good app
this app is very easy to use and also user friendly!!
Banned
Randomly banned me I have no idea why, I did nothing wrong.
Developers please read
Love the app and all! I recommend maybe showing approximate location of sellers like other marketplaces for Canadian users, and fix the issue with Canadian phone numbers not compatible with the mobile phone verification.
The best place to buy and sell airsoft guns!
Some of the best prices and deals for Airsoft guns anywhere online! When I go to find a new airsoft gun the first thing that comes to mind is HopUp!
Greedy pricing and slow approval rate
The app signicantly slowed down the approval process for non-premium users’ posts. It takes them 3 days on average to even allow your post to show up. They charge 10% on all sales through their payment method, but using other payment methods would inflict an additional listing fee. The app used to be a lot more efficient and affordable to use.
I need help with my email!
I recently got this app and Ive found a gun that I want to buy but I wanted to ask the seller. So I tried to message him but it said i needed to verify my email. I must've spent 10 minutes searching for a button to press but i could find anything. I then tried to open the Help Center, it say it failed to connect. So I’m kind of stumped at this point, I cant get in contact with anyone that can help me with this.
Good store BUT
I like the store and I love selling things on it and they do help out when you need to but bro you charge for premium and then I gotta pay you 10% which majority of things I sell is at least $100 crazy work. You guys are probably profited over $1000 from me over the past four years. I feel like at that rate I should be be at least getting some kind of incentive or at least free premium for making so many sales considering the fact I’ve sold over $11,000 worth of good on here. Just saying guys start looking out for your customers a little bit more than you do. It’ll go a long way.
Ehh
The app is fine but there isn’t a single airsoft accessory or gun or grenade in a 10 mile radius which is too many miles
Great app
Tons of profit made, great friends made!
Banned my account and kept my money
I bought a HPA rifle on HopUp and they banned my account. I cannot contact the seller and support isn’t helping. I will be filing a dispute for the $1200 I paid HOPUP IS A SCAM
Captures market place feel perfectly
Just like fb market, people send offers/ask to trade, set up times only to be left on delivered and never respond to messages
Inactive and scam galore
I am getting into airsoft as a new hobby of mine and stumbled across this app. I downloaded it because it looked like a Facebook marketplace for used airsoft equipment as a used/discounted price. Boy was I wrong. Not only are 90% of the listings at a higher price than buying a brand new gun from evoke.com, some of the sellers don’t respond, have the listing complete to purchase through the app while trying to get you to pay outside of the app and void any security of purchase. I would stick with eBay or any other app. Stay away from this app unless you want to pay over brand new MSRP for a gun on top of paid shipping… You can’t even favorite a weapon on the website, you HAVE TO use the app which is stupid.
Bugs
Not a bad app but constantly has bugs when u click a notification the chat disappears and I’ve lost out on many opportunities bc of it and have to close and reopen the app just for it to work
Hopup is the best of the best
I’ve been on the platform for a couple of years buying and selling have made a lot of friends and gotten lots of amazing gear come join our wonderful community Hopup is the best!
Dogwater
Not only did they almost double there monthly subscription, but if you even mention the price being OBO in the description they decide to flag it and remove your post. They also take the highest percentage than any other payment method if you are a seller.
Not signing in
It is a great app when it works, please fix it
App Has Changed…
This app is nothing like it used to be. $5 fee per listing, no “Lots” allowed (even when I’ve seen people posting Lots and Setups, not an easy to buy or sell local only (aka no shipping). Used to be an amazing app, literally like FB but AirSoft. Support is good and responsive.
New airsoft market
There is a free to use Airsoft app KitUp and be safe on it because it alway the use for other payment methods.
Great Airsoft resource
I have been using HopUp to buy and sell airsoft for years. Simple to use and I’m always finding good deals on airsoft gear!
BUYER(S) AND SELLER(S) BEWARE
Hop up can ban accounts after a purchase is completed BUT NOT THE TRANSACTION and withhold your funds even after the banned account received the item and confirmed with HopUp support. Hopup is currently holding $1,000.00 from a hpa lmg I sold and not allowing me to withdraw the money. 0/10 customer service. DO NOT SELL YOUR STUFF ON HERE, THEY KEEP THE MONEY!
It won’t accept my number
I had this app on my old phone and now that I got it on my new phone it won’t let me log in I loved the app before but now not so much
App is ran by 5yearolds
Whenever this app actually works, it’s decent, also this app is the home to scammers, the amount of scammers on this app is astronomical. This app always fails and gives me errors of many kinds, other than that, it’s ok to use. Please put some time into this app so it works
Disappearing WTB ads
Loving the app except for the the hassle of trying to find particular WTB posts. They seem to appear and disappear randomly despite still being active.
My experience
My time in HopUp has been awesome. I’ve spent so much time just browsing all the cool guns and have come to find just how great the community (and moderation) on this app is. For anything from trades to $1000 sales, this blows any other marketplace out of the water.
It sucks
The app works a little over half the time. But what’s worse they charge so much to sell on it. Makes it not worth it. And if you mention trades or using PayPal they threaten you with taking down your listings and blocking your account. KitUp is better anyways.
Stop with the excessive fees
It’s kind of annoying being charged $8 for cancelling an order within minutes for “transaction processing” like what?! Nothing was transacted!
Good but too many scammers
It’s a good market place for buying airsoft equipment but it suffers from scammers just like any other market place
G.O.A.T
Honestly I never write reviews but this app is off the hook. My personal opinion; kinda wish I would have started here instead of actually shops. They have everything you need and more! Plus the customer service is top tier honestly. I’ve told all my people about this app. Thanks Hopup!!!
Made me redo selling a item 10 TIMES
disgusting it made me close out the app five times and additionally, after completing a sellout item form it would just randomly glitch and log out of the app. I had to go back in and do it over and over. Absolutely unacceptable.
internal error HTTP 200
Doesn’t let me verify phone number
Best Airsoft App
I absolutely love this app, selling is easy and user friendly. There are so many guns and attachments to select from its wild. I love playing airsoft, so this app is a great way to get started or try out different platforms. Overall 5 stars
I have yet to get a real inquiry on a item
I have had a item up for 3 months but every inquiry is a SCAM! I have yet to have someone give me a legitimate offer and purchase what I’m selling at A GOOD PRICE. you also have to pay for people to even see your listing which is stupid.
Phone number
Won’t let me register due to an unavoidable and Reoccurring phone number error
Glad to have
Been into Airsoft for 20 plus years, have been swapping the entire time. This is one of the safest and best markets for airsoft surplus.
Was a solid BST Airsoft app now it’s trash.
I have been a member since 2017 and it was a great app when you could post for free or pay a monthly subscription for immediate listing but with the system that’s currently integrated that takes a chunk of you sales or you pay a flat fee upfront is just a scam. Go use the KitUp app instead it’s what HopUp was before they got greedy. On top of that your listing get flagged or account will randomly get banned do not waste your time with this app.
Verificacion de numero celular
Acabo de descargar la app y todo bien hasta que pide el numero de celular para mandar un texto de verificación, el cual nunca llega, por lo cual no puedo acceder siquiera a utilizar la app.
5/5 Star App for Anything Airsoft
This app has been great! It is easy to navigate/use. There is a wide selection of airsoft guns and related products, with numerous being added daily. You can find items on here (certain Airsoft gun models) that you CANNOT find anywhere else. They only charge 10% fee for selling (which is very reasonable) and this gives the seller/buyer selling/purchase protection. Safe from scams. Also can list independently if decided so. 5/5 star App for sure.
Won’t let me sell
I can’t put any listings up with out adding my debit card or my bank account and after I put in my details it told me to type in a verification code and I looked in my email tried to resend looked in my spam and the verification code won’t send anywhere and I can’t sell without it. Waste of time I can see why no one uses it
