Fantastic Banking App!
I have accounts in Japan, Australia, Hong Kong and the UK but this is the best app I’ve come up with so far. Congratulations UBS!
Absolute junk
I had previously registered for this app on another phone. I was asked to reregister when I changed phone, which meant waiting 5 days for a PIN to arrive by post. When it finally arrived, I completed the registration process, only to be met by an error page. I tried again. This time after completing the registration process I was sent back to the opening screen and prompted to register again. I tried several time more with the same results. After the fifth time I was told the PIN was no longer valid and I needed to apply for another and wait for it to arrive by post. A complete shambles. What antediluvians run this company? Edit: the contact number provided by the developer doesn’t work either

Payments not done!
Several creditors complained that they didn’t get paid although I had correctly entered the payment. Even a salary was not paid although there was always enough money on the balance!! I’m fed up and will leave this bank as soon as I can.

Das e-Banking ist einfach und intuitiv gestaltet. Allerdings finde ich es sehr schade, dass die „Budgetanalye“ nicht mehr verfügbar ist.

Problème de mise à jour
Je n’ai pas accès à mes comptes depuis 2 jours car j’ai besoin d’une mise a jour de cette application et elle n’est pas disponible. En espérant que ça fonctionnera rapidement. Car en général ça fonctionne bien.
Scan not working on iPadOS 18
Dear Sir,Madam, I have updated my ipad to ipadOS 18 and have also updated my UBS Mobile App and UBS Access App. The Scan funtion is not working in the Access app.

Half the time the camera works perfectly in the access app, half the time it takes 10 minutes of moving the phone, shifting the laptop screen, lighting changes before it can tead the qr code.
Spam messages
This is an app that you need in order to log in to your UBS account and to authorise credit card payments. But UBS have started using it for spam and I am getting marketing related notifications like completing surveys. This is unacceptable.

With that being said, it doesn’t allow registration with just a China phone number which is pitiful.
Terrible interface
Screen prompts are unintuitive. Requests and completions of actions are inconsistent.
Difficult start, now ok to use

Neuinstallation zu kompliziert
Ich habe vor einem halben Jahr ein neues Smartphone bekommen und habe das eBanking mithilfe UBS installiert. Jetzt war das Smartphone defekt, ich habe von Apple ein neues Smartphone auf Garantie bekommen. Obwohl es erst ein halbes Jahr her ist dass ich die Installation gemacht habe habe ich diese Installation dieses Mal auch nicht ohne Hilfe von UBS ihn gebracht. Mein Vorschlag: ein einfaches Verfahren vielleicht sogar mit einem neuen AppOder aus der PC – Anwendung heraus zur Installation zur Verfügung stellen ohne mehrere Varianten und Alternativen einfach einfach für naive Benutzer. Vielleicht sogar auch nur für Benutzer die schon mal die Apps verwendet haben. Da müssten ja einige Daten schon vorliegen. Die Hilfe von UBS war hervorragend. Bin gespannt was sie dazu sagen. Awful Applications and Costumer Service
The application often glitches and logs you out when it updates. If this happens on your only UBS Access enabled device then you have no way of signing in. This new login process requires that they send you a new pin via paper mail. If you try to contact costumer support to ask for help (because you need to make a payment on short notice) they will tell you there is nothing they can do to help you. As with most customer service in Switzerland they will charge you calling the help desk.
Unacceptable
UBS updated the access version which is only compatible with devices having IOS 13. I had Access app on iPad mini which only can support up to IOS 12. Therefore. Could not update to new version, could not access bank account to pay bills. Was travelling so no access to local Branch. Support at digital hotline was useless- kept saying sorry, sorry . Their suggestion was go to apple store and try to get technician to force update on my iPad - despite all forums including Apple saying this is not possible. If I could select less than one star then I would
International non Swiss phones fail
Trying to activate with all keys received in a letter and after confirming the part of mobile phone to be used the system promises to send you sms message with additional key that never arrives. After 3 trials failing the system tells a new letter has being sent with new keys. (?) Developers should test better the App because there is no problem with the keys as it fails before using only contract name only. My recommendation to them is to check phone number definition with sign starting with + or 00 or nihil.

È un vero problema se ci si accorge mentre si è in giro, per accedere serve il pin dalla banca e si rimane completamente bloccati. Sistemate questo bug, per anni è andata benissimo.
Absturz bei erster Nachrichtenanzeige
Login klappt, aber der QR-Code wurde nicht immer gleich erkannt. Die App crasht, wenn man eine Nachricht lesen will.

A few versions ago, the function to confirm new payees (without using the authentication chip card and reader was added. No more need to bring them along.
As useful as the banking app
When the UBS banking app switches to the access app for login you have to input the access app pin. Mind you, nowhere is this mentioned, just an idiotic prompt for 6 characters. Normally, if you’re trying to do some common sense security and keep the pin in a password manager and you switch to said application, upon return to access app you see the prompt for scanning qr codes for login. How difficult can it be to save state between app switches? Great to see that UBS actively involves high school students in developing their apps, but some basic code review should be enforced.

Sehr gute Übersicht, tolle Funktionalität
Endlich mal eine Banking App die übersichtlich ist, einwandfrei zu handhaben ist und dann auch noch zuverlässig funktioniert. Manchmal muss man etwas viel hin und her navigieren, daher nur 4 Sterne, aber absolut brauchbar.

Ridiculous setup process every time you change phones
UBS insists on sending me a physical letter to set this thing up every time I change phones, even though I have a physical access card I could use to set this up. Inconvenience for the sake of security theatre.
Great app, missing one thing
So glad not to need the card reader! However, why is there not an option to use my fingerprint for the access app, or to use it to login to the main app to actually use it. The connect app seems redundant when this is an option on many modern smartphones.
Works great, until it doesn’t
Much more convenient than the silly mini calculator and access card, but when it fails to work when you’re not at home and didn’t bring the analog setup, then it’s a real pain. The app is constantly telling me it has a network error (WiFi and 4G) and can’t scan a code or allow me to open my banking app. Never had a banking app fail me before and find this kind of bug incredibly disappointing. And UBS charges you money per minute to report it, so giving app feedback is annoyingly difficult.
