Great Game!
This is truly my first game review, and I’m doing it because this is one of the best games I’ve played. I didn’t know how to play in the beginning, but the instructions were very clear and easy to understand. I’m glad I know how to play Canasta now because I’m having a great time playing it!!

So many ads. It takes forEVER for the game to load. If you ever get to play the game, it’s great. But the ads are terrible.

No support
No way to access support or give feedback and there is nothing intuitive about the operation of the game. I literally had a blank screen with no cards to play or any way to access anything, and the only option was to forfeit the game.
Please fix it
It likes to glitch when you are playing a real person. Otherwise it’s great. I have had to forfeit a lot of times because of the glitch. Please fix it.
Done playing this
I am seriously going to quit playing this game. I have played over 1200 games of hand and foot and am on level 126. I no longer have a chance as I get very few wild cards now…the bot lays down a pile of wild cards immediately. Also, now I cannot draw cards I need. I read in another post that was answered complaining about the same issues and was told that cards are randomly dealt. That is a load of baloney. No fun anymore…
Too many ads
I love the game, it’s really great, but I have to go through a lot of ads to play it.

They have enhanced the game over the 5 years since I started playing. I tried others before this one and found it is truly the best.
Fun game but latest version is full of bugs and glitches
I really like the game and the app, but lately it has gotten very buggy. Often in the middle of a game on my iPad the app will not respond to inputs affecting cards. I can quit the game and it'll function properly until it locks up again. Developers please note!!!
Fun but buggy
Buggy game, still. Freezes mid game that makes you have to restart and lose your money and game, so screws with your win loss ration. Gets repetitive with the top wager only being 5000. When it’s working, it’s fun.
Terrible app
Very frustrating with unclear rules and weird way to play for a canasta player. Free version makes you watch long adds and even if you do it’s formatted so you often can’t get back to the game. Most frustrating free game I’ve encountered in a long time.
My phone is hot!
I really enjoy this game and I’ve been playing it for several days. I haven’t had any issues until the latest update. Now when I play, my phone gets really hot and my battery drains pretty quickly. If it wasn’t for this issue, I would give five stars.

No cards
I got this in hopes to play with a friend, but when I try to go in and play a game, it doesn’t give me any cards. Then I have to abandon the game and that counts it as a loss.
Some Glitches Still
The canasta game still has some glitches. For example it only counts some of your red 3s. If you draw two it only takes one and treats the other like a black three. Would like the cards to be a little bigger easier to see. Takes a while to earn enough points to go to the other games so not sure on those, but the canasta game is ok minus some issues.

Bugs need to be fixed
This app would be better if it actually recognized a canasta every time. Consistently it gives me an error, telling me I can’t go out without a canasta but I have a canasta (with at least 4 natural cards) already completed.

I’ve been playing your game for years. But now you put out an ad from Asia, and it will not go away. It’s from HanPoom. And the game is not playable until you get rid of the stupid ad.

Frustrated
This game frustrates me. One round the other player makes crazy stupid moves and the next round he smashes it out of the park. I would like his play was made re consistent!
Please fix the glitches
I love the game. It still glitches now and then. It’d be great if the bugs were sorted out, and changed back to how it was before. Now it’s slower than before

I have played over 900 Hard Games of Canasta and found it fun and relaxing…enjoy!!
Cards not easily seen
The sets are all jumbled in your hand. They are all jumbled together when laying them down to. Example. I laid down four 8s and 3 jacks and they were all laid out together instead of separately. Also I accidentally laid my discard into my meld section and could not drag it to the discard pile. So I had to recall the entire play and start over. Twice. I said screw this game and deleted it. It’s got too much graphics and not enough game structure.
Computer needs to be smarter
Sadly, it’s very easy to beat the computer even on expert mode. Still fun to play, though.
Too many adds
When you can’t even play the game until you have watched an add I quit.

I do wish it played the traditional rules, and had better tactics. I can win too easily
Red three issue
When you get two red threes in a deal, one is not counted as a red three which is worth 100 points and the if you draw two more, you don’t get credit for the 800 points you should be getting. I have noticed this never happens with the computer’s hand. I am not 5e first to comment on this so please fix it.
Constant Glitches
I am constantly losing my coins because of these glitches. The first time I wrote, they gave me a nominal amount back ever since I’ve written since then they just ignore my emails. Obviously they don’t care about customer service. Choose a different game.
Too easy. Otherwise it would be perfect
The computer side is much too easy. It gets boring. If you want a more difficult game you have to pay ? No thanks. I do like the set up and speed of play but I’m still looking for a challenge Also the ads take too long
Every aspect of the game is flawed and glitches
I mean this literally, every aspect of this game has a bug. Red threes go to your hand instead of the board. Want to pick up from an unfrozen pile since you have an acceptable hand? That glitches. Want to discard your final card given that you have a canasta or multiple? That will glitch. Want to meld a card? It might discard instead. Want to complete daily challenges? You can try but usually your progress won’t register with the game. Due to this becoming increasingly frustrating I’ve tried a few other apps and unfortunately this would be the best multiplayer option if they could manage to work out some of these bugs. App support is responsive but it seems that people have submitted these complaints for years now
Excessive ads
The game play is great, when you eventually get past all the ads you can’t skip, and the never ending sales pitches. Other than that, it’s fun🤣

This is the greatest online or offline canasta game on the internet. I’ve played nearly every one that’s available and Canasta Royale is clearly the best. I stand by my words I play it ever day and still think it’s te best

Used to be great hand and foot game but too many changes and now cannot even unlock without an inappropriate purchase…..was a free app but now almost a bait and switch.

This is the best canasta game. Wish the challenges earned more coins though, earning coins is pretty chintzy. And the expert mode doesn't seem to be any better then the hard mode., Jan 2024 review update: the newest update is a 5 star! I love the changes. New backgrounds for seasons and more. I play this game every morning!
Mistake in rules plus rip off pricing
People who play Canasta are not the type who want coins and all the junk purchases for £99.99 like Battle Royal. I don’t want to buy jokers or have challenges. What I want is to pay for the game outright and then get on with it. The AI is easily beaten plus there is a mistake in the rules when the discard deck is locked as you can pick up the top card without having another to to meld with it. All gimmicks and no substance. Sorry guys but you are wide of the mark.
Missing rules and a dumb AI
For the love of god, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE MAKE THE COMPUTER SMARTER. With every game, no matter the difficulty, it feels like the computer is focused on going out, not on scoring points. The aim of a round is to get as many points as possible. Being the first to out does NOT necessarily mean you will score the most points. Also, a lot of rules are missing, and these missing rules make the game far too easy. 1) When making a new meld, you must use at least three natural cards. A pair and a wild is NOT allowed as an initial meld. Three naturals and a wild is allowed. 2) A meld/canasta cannot contain more than 3 wild cards, and the number of wild cards must always be less than the number of natural cards. So, for example, you cannot have a meld containing 3 wilds and 3 naturals. 3) You can only pick up from the discard pile to make a new meld if you have a pair in your hand. If you have an 8 and a wild, you can’t pick up a second 8 from the pile. You MUST have at least two 8s to pick up that third 8 from the pile. It’s the same rule as when the pack is frozen. This also ties into the missing 3) rule, because a meld of two 8s and a wild is not allowed. 4) When making your initial meld/s and you need to reach the point threshold (50, 90 or 120), you are only allowed to to use the TOP card on the discard pile. Once you’ve gotten enough points, only then can you pick up the rest of the discard pile and add other discarded cards to your hand and your melds. If these missing rules were added and the AI was made smarter, I would gladly give this game 5 stars. I would even be willing to PAY for the game if these changes were made. As it is, this app is currently nothing more than fine. YOU COULD MAKE IT GREAT. YOU CAN DO IT. I BELIEVE IN YOU.
So many flaws on live game
So many issues, I wish I could screen shot and give it to a developer so it could be fixed. We now have smiley faces on the board, but the card counting is gone. The first round of the game I just played didn’t register points and went back to zero. A game I played a week ago should have ended because my opponent was out of cards, but didn’t end. I needed to forfeit to stop it. Some of the red threes stay in my hand instead of going on the board. The only way to play them is to discard. The timer doesn’t always show a time and stays on the same person. These are only a few of the issues.
