Simple n easy
Exactly what I wanted. Soon as u open the app it prompts u to add your weight. No fluff or other stuff. Please don’t change it 🙏
Vekt
The app interface isn't screen reader friendly for the blind. The only things in the app that are labeled are the goal start and that's all. The high and low volume are also labeled. The illistration isn't much use to anyone with a visual impairment
Really good when used with iPhone
I love the app and been using it for the past few years. It functions well and as expected on iPhone, however its Watch companion often loses plot and decides to present setup screen almost every time to a point where I just stick to using Vekt in iOS. Is there anyway the sync could be improved? Maybe via iCloud?
New update removed the ability to enter your weigh in
I have loved this app but the new update has removed the ability to enter your daily weight. If its there there hasn’t been any in app guidance about where it is now (and I’ve looked in everything I can click on). The link to request support just goes to a page advertising Vekt. The in-app contact us only lets you log feedback and not a case. I have a paid subscription so I’m less than pleased that I have lost the basic functionality of the app.
Great until the update
The app is a great simplistic weight tracker, but I do not plan to use it beyond the 1 year trial that I was offered for having already purchased the app. I think it would have been better to create a new version of the app than to force subscriptions on those that had purchased it already.

I was a paying customer and the widgets are gone. Not renewing.
Question re. subscriptions
UPDATE: Thanks. It’s been a great app and I’m sure there are plenty of people who will benefit from the new features. I almost never do app subscriptions and look for apps with one-time payments, but understand you need to make a living and wish you the best. ___ It appears that Vekt now requires a subscription, but it’s not clear whether this applies to existing, long-term users. If I update to version 3, will I be able to continue using it as I always have without paying a subscription? Please clarify this. I’m a very casual and occasional user of Vekt, and if I can’t use v3 without a subscription, I’ll either not upgrade or just delete the app.
More “features” <> better
I have used this app for years and have absolutely loved it. I could just open it, slide to the day’s weigh-in value, and close. Simple, clean, and functional. With the recent updates, I can still live with it I guess, but the interface is noisy and it now takes a few clicks to simply add a new weigh-in. Unfortunately, with the very latest update, the app now just blinks on and off. While I presume this will be fixed with another update soon, what was a seamless experience has become a hassle. I didn’t really think about the app each morning, and now I do. And not in a positive way. As it stands now I am unlikely to renew.
Really good app, but could use some improvements
I really like this app. I’ve been tracking my weight for years, especially to lose weight, and I really love the minimalist UI of this app. I appreciate that my larger goal is broken down into smaller subgoals, which makes losing weight a bit easier. Although I think the Apple Watch integration is good, I’ve noticed that sometimes on my watch the unit will change from pounds to kilograms, even though all of the apps on my phone (including health) are all set to pounds. This is kind of annoying, as it’s a recurring bug I’ve seen for the past 3 to 4 months. Granted the subscription isn’t expensive, but I figure if I’m going to pay for this, I’d like it to work as best as possible! I really like the app, and I think it works really well. There is just some prominent frequent bugs that could be resolved.
Progress tracking over weight tracking
This app has a long way to go but it is different. Kind of like how i can focuses on my progress weight not my fat weight. I did not realize i could just put my weight in on my watch, but it is cool. 2 Requests for the developers 1. Can you make on the app widget to where it can also just display my weight loss numbers with a big negative sign in front. That would motivate the heck out of me. 2. Under the new Lion theme can you make it one click weight entry instead of two Overall I am happy with the new direction after 3 years of use. Thanks
Subscription paywall to do anything

Really good for tracking!
I’m loving the app as it’s telling my BMI, calculates how much I’ve lost and keeps general track of things. Not super keen on the update though, it’s a black screen, I wish it was a white background again, or you got a choice. Being colour blind I struggle with seeing things written on a black background. Unless there is a way to change this setting, I’ve looked heaps and can’t find anything. Otherwise, great app.
Crappy app, delete it
App has a few glitches, it won't let you save a goal weight. I've reset, deleted, even re-added the app and the same problems arise. Doesn't let you save you height (even when you try 5-10x?) Mine keeps saying my goal weight is "59.9 lbs???" 80 lbs to go... so annoying. Can't change that no matter how many times I try 🤦🏼♂️ The app used to be good, now I feel like I've wasted my money buying it. I would reccomend not buying it, and saving your money. Frustrating.

Плюс ещё платная подписка, вы серьезно? Дайте я куплю это приложение, чем буду раз в год искать что списало у меня деньги! P.S. Английское слово “Done” в интерфейсе обычно переводят как «Готово», а не как «Сделанный». Не вы случайно GTA San Andreas переводили? :)
My Favorite Weight Tracking App
As a Vekt user for the past several years, the initial releases in the first quarter of this year got off to a rocky start. There was a big overhaul of the app by some new developers that resulted in some growing pains. As of April 3, 2024 things are looking great. I like this new interface now even more than the original one. The UI has brought back useful features that got "lost" during the big UI overhaul. I emailed the developers, who were friendly and responsive. They were receptive to learn about unexpected ways their app had been used in the past and immediately sprung into action improving their app to rectify any deficiencies. I have been happy with Vekt for several years now, and after this latest release plan on using it for the foreseeable future. It is a simple and elegant interface to track your went, with lots of interesting data calculated for you. It's reasonably priced and the don't collect or track your data. What more can you ask for from an app like this?
I already paid why am I being forced to subscribe and pay again
I paid for this app already when it was a paid app before the update and now I’m being forced to subscribe to be able to use it ? I already paid for it before this update. It’s ridiculous to make users that bought the app before the subscription update have to subscribe for something they already prepaid for. Horrible practices

Way to say thanks to your old users.
I donated $5 or was it $10? to this developer years ago before he decided to do a subscription model and now I have to pay $18 or sign up for an ongoing subscription to use an app I already voluntarily paid for? I get it - why bother making the effort to take care of people whose money you already have when you’re focused bringing in new customers, but come on. p.s. The functionality is not worth $18 to me. I’ll find something else.
Verzorgd maar simpeler dan verwacht.
Ziet er verzorgd uit maar ik had wel wat meer verwacht qua functionaliteit. Bijvoorbeeld: een duidelijkere (lijn)grafiek, BMI-grafiek, gewicht- en datum bekijken van een punt in de grafiek. Ook meer leuke cijfers, zoals: afgevallen deze week, verwachtte datum voor het behalen van het doel enz. Allemaal niet perse nodig, maar vergeleken met de vele gratis apps is Vekt (hoewel slechts €2,50 ofzo) volgens mij de meest karige qua data. En sinds de laatste update wordt dit omgezet naar een jaarlijks abbo van zo’n €6. Ik zie helaas de meerwaarde niet en merk dat ik toch liever grijp naar Weight Drop en Happy Scale.

Love this app. It’s simple and easy to use. I use it to track my weight and the amount of kg lost. Wish the graph was a little more robust, but it’s sufficient for what I need now

I believe it's the best way to keep a record of my weight. Sometimes easy and simple is the best way. I love this app.
Requires immediate subscription
I don’t often review apps, but in this case it’s warranted. You install this “free” app with in app purchases, then find you can’t actually do anything with it at all until you agree to a subscription. Yes, you get a trial but that’s besides the point - you’re still agreeing to a recurring subscription unless you cancel - before you’ve even evaluated the app. You shouldn’t have to agree to a subscription at all to evaluate a basic app like this - when did this become a thing, and more to the point, why has this become a thing? It’s incredibly anti user. Surely a time limit or restricted features would be more appropriate? Might as well just make it a paid app.
Another subscription!
As a fellow app developer I know the difficulties of trying to make commercial apps pay. However I am not going to be subscribing as I don’t need a weight entry app enough to pay a yearly subscription for it. Well done for rewriting the app in SwiftUI- it looks great, and I wish you well with your new business model.
Great app

Version 3 update is now forced subscription
I used to love this app and used it every day, but the latest update has now forced users to sign up for a paid subscription. Had I known this was going to be a different app I would not have updated. I only use this to track my weight and appreciated the no-frills aspect, but with this new update I will not longer be using.
Great and Simple - small tweaks needed

Switch to expensive subscription
Come on! A 7€ subscription to use an app that does nothing more than simplifying how I track my weight? Don't get me wrong: I appreciate your work, but the costs should be reasonable. I'll use the normal Health-App again and say “Thank you” for a good year!

App was fine until v3 update
I’ve been using Vekt v2 for 4 months with no issues whatsoever. Until then, it was 5 stars. After updating to v3, it is stuck on the welcome screen no matter what I do. I’ve tried restarting the phone, deleting and reloading the app. Nothing has worked, even with v3.01. Have to give it 1 star until this is fixed.
Once you enter wrong measurements, you live with it forever.
Impossible to delete a wrong entry. This morning I accidentally entered 956kg instead of 95.6, and there seems to be no way to correct the mistake (apart from the obvious absence of input check - do your programmers believe there is no upper limit to a person’s weight?). And btw, the app’s “give feedback” function does not work. — Reply to developer’s comments: thank you for adding an input check in future versions :) - and yes, the problem with the feedback is probably that I use Outlook instead of the native Mail app.
Looks good BUT ...(I deleted it)
Having to connect with Apple health turned me off. That should be optional. I shouldn’t be forced to do that first thing in order to even explore the app. Deleted.
Almost what I was looking for
I really love the simplicity licity and idea behind this app. (Hard to find only weight tracker) The one major thing I’m missing is I can’t find where it tells you your losses between weigh ins and total weight loss. This is a huge motivator for me when tracking my weight. Any chance this will be incorporated? The Apple health app does not have an easy way to do this that’s why I purchased this app which appears to also not have this function ☹️

I can’t get to the input screen. The subscription screen keeps popping up even though I already subscribed. Was able to input weight with my watch.

Ok App
Vekt is an ok app but limited. It shows me a bar chart of weights but won’t show me the date associated with any chosen weight. It let me add a weight but gave no indication it was added so I added it a second time.

Beautiful simplicity
I love this app. It focuses on just the bare minimum with no added fluff. I like the graph that tracks my progress, the options for reminders at different intervals, and the integration with Apple’s Health app. A great way to track your weight.
Version 3 Broke the App
I loved this app. Version 3 comes out and now I have to agree to a ‘free’ trial that starts billing in one year. Don’t like that but whatever. Now I can’t get past the “Hey friend” splash screen that forces you to agree to the trail. It’s completely locked up. I can’t get past that screen. RIP version 2.
Simple but handy!
This is a very simple but useful app. It allows a very quick view of your current weight on the watch itself, instead of tracking via iPhone/health kit I've asked the developer to consider some additions like target weight and pounds to go directly on watch and he was incredibly fast to respond and is looking into it. This is not a "wow" complex app but a good addition to my watch functionality
Cumbersome
After a while the weight is reset to 0 kg on Apple Watch. It then takes ages to reach my weight with the wheel, since it varies the weight only per 0,1 kg.
Crashes all the time
Waste of money. Cannot imagine how they've tested it. I gave no permission to write / read to the Health app. I see no reason to do so.

Un-advertised feature
I don't recall this happening before, but knowing me I might've simply forgot. Either way, it's not advertised anywhere that this app'll mock you for gaining weight. I do wish I was kidding - especially since people actively seek out this type of encouragement (discouragement?) and others avoid it - yet it's not advertised here despite a belittling "I hope that pizza was worth it 🍕" pops up upon inputting if you've gained weight. A sudden and unwelcome ridicule is just that - unwelcome. If someone wants this form of motivation, they can find it advertised towards them. I'm sure even those who work well with this type of motivation would agree that a sudden and unwelcome ridicule is completely different from an expected and welcome taunt. And for those who don't do well - lets say, someone with an eating disorder, dismorphia and anxiety disorders, amongst other things, suddenly being jeered at by an app that did not advertise and is only suppose to track your weight... can be detrimental. For an app that costs money, no less.
