Eyeglasses
Love the way you can see what they are going to look like
App makes no recommendations
For all the trouble of scanning my face I was hoping for some suggestions- all this is is a fancy virtual way to try on glasses
Trash
I can't even get it to work I did everything and keep getting head to far back a million times
Zipcode is messed up
Couldn’t even get to the important part because it refused to accept my zipcode, or any zipcode that starts with zero, which includes my entire state.
Nice a** app
Really easy to use, but I wish there were more customization.
Email confirmation link does not work, making app unusable

Not letting me design frames
It doesn’t let me design frames like what the ad says. It only lets me to try on frames that are already designed.
Blind steps to Vision
I was super excited to download and try to get new glasses. The apps work better than most others of this kind, and it helps you get idea of what lenses look good on you. but here is ONE thing I wanted to see before I can place an order and actually pay for it: 1. Show me eye glass dimensions this face rendering is coming up with. I understand you do 3D scan, but I have a wide and fat face...my temple has to be 145 or greater, and my lens+bridge has to be 75 or greater... I have noticed these fit differently depending on the brand but nothing smaller than that can fit me comfortably. This app failed to give me a ball-park of dimensions so I didn’t want to order blindly (pun intended).
Now getting my second pair!
Topology is the one and ONLY place I have been able to fit my odd sized face and head. I have been to hundreds of local places and tried all the “we’ll send you frames in the mail” places and ONLY Topology has been able to get me glasses that fit my face. We went through FIVE mockup versions because of my long eyelashes and other adjustments. When I was happy with the fifth mockup they made the final pair and sent it to me. After doing a normal adjustment around the ears I had the perfect fitting frame, made just for me. Now, a year and a half later I am looking for a slightly different style and I will use my HSA to buy a new pair of Topology frames.

Crashes - so frustrating
This app crashes every time I try to scan my face. Maybe it’s my face, but more likely it’s a problem with the app! Very frustrating !
Inconclusive
Great concept but I am unsure about the end result because I could never get the selfie to upload. The app appeared to freeze up and displayed the message "Uploading Face Scan". It may have been a bandwidth issue on my end or it could just take awhile to transmit the amount of granular 3D data that a face scan captures. Either way it tested my patience and was frustrating. One more thing that also bothered me is the lack of a very prominent disclosure of what is done to protect the face scans, who technically owns the data once it resides on either the company's servers or cloud provider, and how that data can be removed. Given the recent misuse and abuse of sensitive data that has come to light by tech firms and the less-than-scrupulous use of that data, I would like to have a very clear explanation of the policies as they relate to the most sensitive and identifying piece of information that any person can give up. Frankly, I am quite reticent to entrust such data to a company that could decide to sell such data if they run into a cash crunch or as an ancillary source of revenue, and I would like a clear airing of what the policies are, the recent California data privacy law notwithstanding. If it were not for the complete lack of variety from the prescription eyewear industry as regards the size of frames, the potential privacy issues would have completely dissuaded me from trying this
Should be called awesomology
Love your site. Thank you.
App Won’t Load
I installed the app got to the email link. When i click on it the system doesn’t recognize the app is installed and just takes me to the app store. I click the “open” button, but it resets the app all over. I’m on an iPhone 11Pro so it should work, but fails to open from emailed link.
Interesting but falls short
I know the dimensions I’m looking for, but they don’t give you frame dimensions and I just don’t trust their fit. Software like this is just to far from actual sizes to trust at these rather high prices. Try another app.
Yes, it fits! Asian fit even!
So I’m not the most technically gifted but I used the app just fine. I saw frame selections, colors choices, adjust frame width and height. Taking the picture wasn’t hard at all and they even saw that one ear sits slightly higher than the other. Then after my selection arrived, I was able to tell them to fix the tilt, the width, the height and so on. The second (corrected) pair arrived and I haven’t taken it off since! Been using them for 4 months and the quality is great. Super comfortable and attractive glasses to wear. And considering price, it’s not much more than a good pair at a chain store. Will order again!
App doesn’t work.
I put in my zip code and many others it won’t accept any of them.
Gotta take off your glasses to use
You’re told to take off your glasses to create the video or 3D map of your head. Since I need my glasses to see, taking them off means I can’t see my phone well enough to use the app. Ummm, catch-22.
Brilliant
The app worked perfectly, and the customer service is literally the best I’ve ever experienced. It took a while to get my glasses, but they are the most comfortable pair I’ve ever had. Well worth it! This is an exceptional company and product.
I just want to browse. Not setup an appointment.
I’d like to browse your selection and look at styles before setting up an appointment.
Repeat customer, LOVE this company!
I struggled for years to be able to read...my eye doctor tried everything...turns out it was just ill-fitting frames. I am SO thankful for Topology’s product AND for their amazing customer service. They really will redo it until it is right, and they will promptly and cheerfully answer a thousand questions for you. Topology earns every penny and I will be their customer for life!
Use Face Picture Data for Marketing and Processing
Couldn’t get past the fact that you use people’s faces for marketing and are willing to give it to affiliates and 3rd parties under some discretion. Understand the section of processing. But marketing??
Excited about this app!
I will gladly pay a 3.5x price point over Warby Parker to try this company, which offers a customized fit, user customization of fit and style, a UI that works and is responsive, and better materials. UI feedback: 1) I want my width / height / drop user customizations to be frame-specific; why make my choices stick across frames? 2) Great favorites feature — but making existing favorites editable, so that I can tweak my customizations is a must-have. Please add this! 3) I get that facial images on a horizontal plane are necessary to detect landmarks and customize fit, but when I see renderings, I want to see them at more angles. Can you make the “try it on” screen use my camera (see Warby Parker app), or else make the initial video collection phase ask for “now look around or up and down to capture more angles of your face” so we can see glasses not just on a left-right axis of our faces? This would be nice to have.
Cool 3D face modeling tech but..
I would’ve liked to do virtual try on without having to schedule an appointment with someone
Extremely excited!!! Finally found a place for all my future eyeglasses needs!
Extremely excited!!! Finally found a place for all my future eyeglasses needs! Asian folks out there look no further!
Requires an account for no reason
So, you manually type in all your info (because there’s no Sign In with Apple support) and get an email. But the link doesn’t work and instead sends you here, to the App Store, which I suppose is appropriate as I’m now leaving a review... Oh, and there’s no iPad support, which is disappointing.
Glasses that fit at last
I’ve never been able to wear glasses that didn’t have pads that lifted the glasses off my nose. That always meant choosing wire frame or metal styles which was restricting. I was never able to wear thicker acetate styles...until now. The face mapping really does work. The glasses stay on my nose bridge all day and fit flawlessly. The technology is real and it very much does work. You can basically get a bespoke pair of glasses by scanning your face with your phone. It’s brilliant.
Can no longer just order...
You can no longer simply order a pair any longer... have to make an appointment??? Who has time for that. Bought a pair previously. Will not again.
