Amazing App!
My husband & I decided to work on improving our sleep quality but we had 0 success, until we found this app! Now it takes less than 5 minutes to fall asleep. I don’t think that I will ever hear that White Cat story! There’s so much variety in the sleep stories and the background noise that it would seem impossible to get bored! Easy to use, too! Thank you!
Hard to listen to some
Some narrators have grating voices.. the primary one actually so most of the stories are by him and his voice does anything but help me sleep. It’s very irritating. it would be nice to have more variety. It seems like the stories are childish.
Amazing-but no playlist
I really wish there was a playlist feature because the stories are wonderful but they’re so short. I wish we could play them consecutively instead of having to get back on my phone and disrupting my falling asleep. I don’t fall asleep quickly and the pressure of “must fall asleep before the story is over” doesn’t help. There are long stories but not my favorite ones. The stories are the best and most plentiful out of all the sleep story apps, though. I’ve definitely tried them all. It’s also an incredible price for all the stories you get and they’re constantly adding more.
Doesn’t show up in my Mindful Minutes on my Apple Watch.

My review is ok. The only problem is that most of the stories are locked. Like, I don’t have the money to pay for a subscription. But the rest is great. Just wish there were more free ones.

I want to rate this highly but
The problem is… Thomas Jones’ voice is on the VAST majority of any of the stories. Almost exclusively. And that would be fine except the reason there need to be voice options is because not every voice works for everyone. Unfortunately, his voice (though I adore a British accent) does the opposite of soothe my mind so I can drift to sleep. There simply are not many other voices to choose from and the ones there are… are not stories I want to play. So this app has to go & I’ll go back to “BETTER SLEEP”

Editing my review. I love the app but Thomas Jones isn’t a voice that helps me sleep and he has the majority of the stories. Need more variety in female vocals. The ability to pick voices, loop sounds after the vocal part or story, it’s just all around great. I cannot sleep without it. Worth every penny.

I have been listening for a long time now and I love the variety of options in story choices. My only problem I only listen to one person, Evie Brown. I find her voice soft unlike the others. So if there were more soft voices it could even be 5 stars.

Why do you have to pay for everything?
I love this app. It definitely has helped me fall asleep faster, but the free version doesn’t have anywhere near the amount of stories that the subscription offers. It is so annoying having to listen to the same few stories over and over and over. I wish over time they would release new content for free, instead of always releasing it only to subscribers!! I would even watch ads before listening if there was more variety.

The Thomas Jones app
This used to be my favorite app and I began to use it exclusively (over Calm which I had previously loved for years!) and somewhere in the past year I realized that every single new story was narrated by Thomas Jones. I like his voice, sure, but there are LOADS of incredible voices and lately it has been 20 new Thomas jones episode for every 1 of someone else’s. 😑

Barely anything is open and nothing loads for me. Meditation is my only comfort at night and it would be great if less things were “pay to get” and it would load.
Not as good as it was
I feel like it’s missing the mark , not much sparks my interest , it occasionally has great ones , but that does mean it will bore you to sleep! . I don’t mean to be harsh and you can’t please everyone, but lately its not been great or even good , i tend to listen to its older catalog. The lights out library though is fantastic I’d recommend that . 🤫😴
Must Have for Sleep Struggle
I have been using this app nightly for almost 2500 nights. I wish there was a more financially accessible way to get the locked sounds and stories. But I’ve faithfully listened to the Warm Jacuzzi for probably 2000 of my total nights. I can’t sleep without it.
No option to cancel free trial
I clicked on free trial to see what that entailed. When I saw there was a charge I exited out however I have no idea if I’m going to be charged after the 7 days. I just want to confirm I didn’t sign up for the free trial then get charged after 7 days. There is no option to request assistance.
The Best App for Sleeping except…
I have been a slumber user since the slumber app had its first sleep story. As someone with genetic chronic sleep issues, this app is a must. For anyone with sleep problems, slumber has guided me through nights of pain, extreme insomnia, and helped me with my lucid nightmares. I have PTSD, and this app has been genuinely indispensable. It is one of the best tools in my arsenal that I turn to, except for a few things that I consider brings this rating down. First, they use AI to generate their images for the backgrounds. As a professional artist this personally leaves a gross feeling for the app. I understand the high volume, but you could easily get a dedicated artist team to do photoshop to take this load away. This app makes money and has enough to keep paying its people and hire new voices and writers. The voices are legit people, and the stories are written by real people. But the art is not. It genuinely makes me use the app less because I see it and it’s obvious. Aside from this, the sorting in this app is awful. When they first added the search bar I tell you I was ELATED. However, now with the sheer volume of content, it is difficult to find the things you like even if you favorite them. If I don’t remember the name of the thing I want, I scroll endlessly and even with it in alphabetical (which it sometimes is not) it’s still incredibly difficult to find what you’re looking for. I suggest that they start breaking down the stories and the other tabs even further to help with this. Another thing is they have some stories linked so they have them together, like traveling stories for example. Or specifically train stories. Which helps. Making those types of things categories I feel would help more. Another thing, I know this would help me personally. It is just a suggestion. It’s practically the only thing that stops my use of slumber full time and makes me turn to other forms of content. I would like the ability to make playlists myself. And have them loop, but not just on one story. My issue is that I need to have things play as I sleep, the whole time, or with silence my chronic nightmares immediately start. I need something constantly playing, and for me that does not inhibit my sleep. I have done sleep studies and know this for a fact. My brain seems to understand if I loop a story more than twice, and if I do that 8 hours I’m kind of screwed. A playlist would genuinely, sincerely, help that. I could mix stories and meditations, it would be 8 or more hours and I would not just have to listen to their small collection of long stories. Which I have. And my brain gets use to them and I have to use other things outside of slumber. Basically, slumber is a good app. It has a ton of options, and is definitely worth it. I feel like it could be a great app if it addressed these things. It will still remain at the top of my list, and it is still a good tool in my arsenal. Thank you for reading.

Just the best meditation and mindfulness app ever!!!!
Really nice to use if you have insomnia! never have I slept so good listening to slumber! It just really helps me relax and get the sleep I need so I can be able to do good the next day! And it just gets me excited for the next big adventure I will have! I love that they are so calm when reading the story! I always have dreams of the story that they read and it comes to life in my dreams and that is awesome!

Couldn’t be without this app
I’ve had this app for many years. It has a great mixture of stories, meditations, music and sounds. I listen to the app every night. I’m asleep within minutes and even when I struggle with waking during the night the app helps with getting me back to sleep. Whats even better the annual subscription has not changed.
Good app but far too expensive for me
I can’t bring myself to spend £9 a month for this unfortunately. Enjoyed the free trial though. Worth it if you have the money.

Was asleep very fast. Have always had struggle sleeping, at first I was happy it wasn’t pushing a subscription, but now im seriously considering subscribing. Absolutely wonderful app- my favorite is rainy day bakery!

Helpful app
This app has been helping me fall asleep a lot easier. Only 4 stars because there is no sleep timer. Some of the stories are hours long so it would be nice to a timer to turn off the app to prevent it from playing throughout the night.
Would love sounds of Africa National Parks
Pretty good, but was hoping to have sounds of more wildlife. Would love to hear sounds of birds and wildlife of The Kruger and other South African National Parks. Birds and istant Hyena calls, zebras etc.

I would give this 4.5 stars if I could because there are just these minor things that could make this an even better app. I wish you could get free access to all of the audios. There are quite a few free ones but some that I am interested in are paid ones. I also wish the audios were longer and there are more options for app icons. I also wish there were more background sounds for the audios (there are ones such as rustling leaves, fire crackles and bird sounds already, but I wish there were more). Other than that, amazing app! ♥️
Can’t sleep without it!
The only thing I don’t like about Slumber is, I fall asleep quickly, then miss a large part of the story! I go back often, but hard to tell where I dozed off. Excellent, try it. I have major insomnia, and it helps.
Can’t access!
Was told I would get a free 12 months after supporting Ozlo Sleepbds on Indiegogo but still, even after communicating this months ago and being told I do have access, cannot access. Very disappointed!
