LONGEST THING EVER
can’t bulk download and then it saves to files app. Need a quick workflow on iPhone. have to buy samples one by one, click a thing to open the ability to save it to files, hit save to files, and then scroll up to next sample, and do the same, and then you have to go into the files app and all the samples are in individual folders ? Nah 😂 no way lol
Audio levels inconsistent
When playing a stack and samples in browse, one will be higher than the other but will not level out when added to a stack. The sample remains much lower than the rest of the stack at full volume. Some muted stacks continue to play and do not appear grayed out in the UI.

Great app but when I’m creating stacks, save it then go back stems are missing. This is ridiculous
Great not good
Really liking this app. Especially for mobile beat making my only wish is that the app itself could import all of your samples. But for what I get with it it is fantastic for doing what it does, and it’s the best for long drives while looking for new samples.
UGH.. Rating should be higher
The only reason my review is so low, is because EVERY SINGLE TIME that I close the app out, I have to log back in. It literally is such a hassle and makes me want to cancel my subscription and delete the app. I love this app and all of the amazing features it has. I love the capabilities of the app. What I don’t like is having to log back in every time I close the app. It’s ridiculous.

Good but could be great
Excellent for sketches/inspiration and quick ideas if you’re in a rut, stem export is perfect but the search function could be improved. Would be much better to have a dedicated section + menu for finding sounds etc rather than the usual search bar and tags which is a pain to browse if you’re looking for ideas..would be good to have an option to keep individual stems in their original key when you add them to your stack along with individual control over each stem. Otherwise it’s great for quickly getting ideas started and has a lot of decent content.
App is not running
The app wont run on any of my mobile devices, i have an iPad Pro, IPad Mini, and iphone 15 pro… no luck.
Need Instrument for IPAD OS
Nice and all, but you need to have the Instrument app available for IPad OS to use in DAWS like Cubasis.

LONG TIME USER
I’ve been using splice for 7 years and I am disapppinted now in the loops on splice. They are all lofi, I’m thinking splice just compresses everything for storage space and calls it lofi haha. Seems every loop I try is trash nowadays.
Frustrating
Not sure what's going on. I've had this app for years on my Android. Now that I have a new iphone, this app keeps logging me out completely. Every time I open it, I have to re log in, even using Google, I still have to put my whole email and whole password, then they send me a Google notification, I have to press "yes it was me" then it finally logs me in. But it's frustrating that I have to do this every time I open the app. It's even updated and still does this.
Logging out frequently on iphone
Its good for music producer. But it frequently logsout out on mobile while using on iphone. Had to login everytime even using after few mins. I had to login everytime.

Poor user and customer experience
Descriptions do not make it clear what package dependencies are needed for individual presets. I spent $120 worth of credits on downloads that are unusable with my setup. When I contacted customer support about this they were aggressively rude and refused to assist

Would be cool if you could submit an example song/beat into the app and then for it to show you samples like the one from the song/beat. A bit glitchy but useful
Gone down hill
The new create feature is terrible. The old version was much better, could actually add more than one sample at a time. Just wanted to test a few samples and it gave a load of suggested ones but wouldn’t add them together. Also there seems to be no samples when I look on the phone, think this may be a bug thought. Only get 10 samples to choose from and all from the same pack
Lagging
For some reason when I try to play a sound it takes forever to load. I’ve even redownloaded the app and it’s still not working
Amazing musical creation tool
Splice has incredibly high quality loops and effects. The Stack feature has turned my phone into my favorite music creation tool. I’m blown away at how well put together the interface is. Splice is so user friendly. Best music app I’ve ever downloaded.

Splice doesn’t work anymore on iOS
Splice is great, usually but after 3 years of being a splice user I’m sorry to say that splice has not and does not work on iOS. Everything the app is opened it closes itself down rendering the app totally useless. Reported this weeks ago but still no fix. Have cancelled my subscription. Come on guys sort it out.

I use the free vers of this app, but golly I LOVE it so much! It's incredibly easy to use. Went over to this app when the Bandlab samples became a premium luxury. I love this app so much, I've made 15 "stacks" in one day
Irritating
I use the desktop app. That’s neat. Just downloaded the iPhone app and it is SO irritatingly difficult to create “stacks” . I just want to add the sample that I found and make a stack.
Splice to the rescue!
The mobile app has had a major upgrade with the ease of inspiration STACKS can provide when you only have your phone with you and need to write or find inspiration. The app can lag and be glitchy at times and thats the only suggestion I can make to find a way to resolve that issue. Otherwise Splice is amazing for everyone.
Can’t see downloads
This app would be great if you were able to see your downloads in the app. I have set up a sample folder on my phone so that I can use samples whilst out away from the studio. There is no option for me to sync my whole library in one go to my phone folder and can only download one at a time. The library screen just shows blank. Hope this can be rectified

I actually love this app but this is the 3rd time now they have out of the blue completely deleted my account and all my money with it im sad to say im going to have to call this a scam ive lost over 100$ at this point
Fix payment problem
I love using Splice and I have been using it for a couple of months and everything is amazing but when I first tried to buy a plan it wouldn’t let me in the app for the first year I was using it? And then when I finally could and I tried paying for it , it would just keep losing and loading There is nothing wrong with my payments or my wifi and I even used different browsers and data etc and still nothing I don’t know if anyone else is having this problem but it’s very frustrating when you just want to make music but are held back by bugs Please fix this
Version 2.6.1 build 310 seems to make it harder to spend credits…
Surely the foundation of this app lies where Splice and their users join in consensus. We want to sounds to be got (credits to be spent). This version makes it harder, hiding the add to library button in a menu by prioritising a new add to BeatMaker button. Please, please fix this. With so much great content to explore every second saved locating and acquiring each gem adds up to valuable time for making music and more creativity through less frustration…
Splice sounds is amazing, can’t say the same for the app...
Splice sounds is a great product, and every music producer should subscribe to it, they have amazing samples and sounds and a great website. Annoyingly, the app is extremely buggy, and although I appreciate that you can download sounds now straight to your phone, searching for sounds is a pretty jarring experience, and I find myself having to open and close to app several times just to get it to work. Unless you’re like me and really want to download sounds straight onto the iPhone, you’re probably better off using the website on a computer. Still, that being said, splice sounds itself is great and would give 5 stars to that.

This app is so slow making it impossible to work efficiently and I have the new equipment out to use this app. It loads forever just to have a sound load
Great App!
Functions seamlessly, although sometimes when I’m playing audio from my AirPods, switch apps to BandLab and open up a project and switch back to splice, when I try to play my stack it doesn’t play for some reason. I then have to switch my Bluetooth off and on to make the stack start working again. Not a serious problem nevertheless
So Glitchy
This app could be so useful and fun to use but it’s a nightmare. Every time I try and like a sample, it takes multiple times of tapping on the heart for it to actually register. Also, after playing sounds for a while the app is pretty much guaranteed to become unresponsive in a few minutes; I’ll still be able to tap on sounds but nothing will play until I terminate the app entirely which is such a waste of time because you have to apply your filters all over again. One more thing that’s really annoying is that when you’re scrolling through sounds and pull one up in the full screen view (to like it or look at the artwork or whatever) and then minimise the full screen to tap on the next sound, it’ll take you back to the very beginning of whatever list you’re at UNLESS you press the play next button on the bottom right of the screen. You should be able to tap OR press the play next button to play the next sample and it should work. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. If you tap the next sample it just sends you back to the beginning of whatever sample list you’re looking at.
Useful app
Useful app for finding new samples. It would be helpful to have the option to play loops on repeat so we can see how the loop would sound. It would also be great to have suggestions for sounds that we might like & more fun 80’s/ pop sounds.

Definitely is a help with getting creative ideas and sounds that will inspire you.
greedy company with horrible customer service and predatory tactics, STAY AWAY
I got my subscription canceled when I gave crystal clear instructions that indicated NOT to cancel my subscription. So now if I want to use my 6,000+ credits ($600+ value), I would have to resubscribe and WASTE THE EXTRA TIME I WOULD’VE HAD DURING THIS BILLING CYCLE TO USE MY CREDITS. It’s crazy that a half billion dollar company doesn’t have the ability to even have the THOUGHT or idea to compensate its loyal customers. There’s no brain power within this company that says, “let’s give this person one or two 50-100$ plugins in exchange for the (600$+) that they’ve given us. A company with no compensation is greedy and you should stay away at all costs, I am warning you.
Great but needs improvement
Just like other reviews it can be very glitchy, but when it works it’s amazing. Creating stacks on the go is so fun, ready for when you get back to the studio👍🏻
Pleaseeee improve
This app would be so so good if you could filter the sounds the same way as on desktop, by bpm, key etc... Also what is the point in the beat maker addition if you can’t simply ‘play all’ at the same time with one button as a loop...

Good app. Could be even better if on the filter I could choose the BPM and the key of the searched sound.
