Great app for games and accessories
This app was great for gamers trying to keep track of their collection but it got even better! They added syncing so now I can put them in from any device

In theory a good app
UI is nice and the tags are very comprehensive, but it’s only for Americans. The prices are so inaccurate for PAL that the aspect of seeing the value of your collection is useless, which is the main reason I downloaded

Can’t sync with website
The app works great, but the fact that you can’t log in with an account you made on the website means you can’t sync your library across both mobile and computer.
Such a wonderful app for your collection
I’ll start with the good things first. First of all this helps me so much knowing what i can sell my games for and if I’m buying a game I can check the price to make sure I don’t get scammed. With their newest update (as of writing this) they added a feature that lets you click like 2 buttons and the item can go from your wishlist and into your collection which I thought was extremely helpful and amazing. Alright now it’s time for the bad things. I only have one bad thing to say and that there is not a price for a few items. I honestly don’t know why they put items into their system without a price unless the item is unreleased please either price the items or take them out of the system it would be so much help. Also for example they have the subscriber copy of Nintendo power issue 272 not priced but the non-subscriber one is and I own the subscriber one it just doesn’t make sense to me so I had to add both the sub one and the non-sub one just so I can get the price
Barcode scanner is useless
The barcode feature is beyond worthless I recently decided to start cataloguing my vast collection and decided to do a batch scan and I kid you not the barcode scanner was identifying probably 1 in every 30 or so games so I had to manually search for hundreds and hundreds of games I really cannot recommend this app in its current state
Good but really only for Americans
It’s a good app though the pal side is incredibly lacking and I’m having to use the American versions of my games/consoles
Godsend
This app is the best thing that has ever happened to a person like me, who loves collecting and keeping track all my game purchases. It’s rare to see an app that is just free, no ads, no gimmicks, no bs subscriptions. This is all you need. Much love to the GamEye developers and community.

Great App with One Personal Drawback
I really like the app but for me, it has one big drawback: I moved to the US from Germany and brought most of my collection of more then 700 video games with me. Unfortunately, the App doesn’t know the German barcodes. (From the first 10 scanned German games, only one was recognized by the App.) But that would not be the biggest problem, when it would be at least possible for me to teach this barcode with all underlying information to the App. As ist is right now, I have to manually look up every single item, choose a US or UK version and add a note for myself that says „German Version“. That works, but the overview of the library still shows the US or UK flag with the title. I will keep the App but it would be really awesome if the customers would have the possibility to add barcodes to the encyclopedia.
Barcode Scanner Lets it down.
Has a nice UI and seems to have no issues with adding NTSC/US games via the barcode scanner but most of my PAL collection wouldn’t be recognised.
Great to track a collection, not so much for tracking what you’ve played
While the app lets me flag games with various play statuses, there doesn’t seem to be a way to display that status on the collection Screen. I have a large collection of games across many platforms and I mainly want to track what I’ve actually played and beaten. I’m trying to cut back on buying games so I want to focus on playing those that I haven’t played yet~
Great App for Video Game Collectors.
I NEVER leave reviews on anything….but this…this caught my attention. Having a database for your game collection and estimated worth is such a nice such in the event you unfortunately had to sell some for your games. Easy to navigate and use is a ++. Linking HowLongToBeat for games is so freaking cool, I can go to the app and compare before I start a new game. And all of this is FREE!! Thank you developers for your hard work and I hope this app blows up for the gaming community collectors. I hope this app continues to grow and will be on my phone until I’m in the grave lol.
Bloated
I’ve only entered a few items and the app is already exceeding 500mb???? S M H You wrote “lol” in your reply… that’s very mature! Using another apps size to defend yours is flat out pathetic! I see how you easily get offended with 1 star reviews by reading your other replies!
Needs update
There are a lot of games missing from this the list and getting in contact is impossible without signing up to a social media site so this is my only option hopefully they see it. Update 1-9-26 I tried using the website as directed by the app makers and everyone on Q/A sites but the site doesn’t have the correct information so I can’t edit or add anything/ it’s a good app but this kind of ruins your collection records if you can’t complete it due to lack of updates to the games lists.
Am I missing something?
I’ve a collection of JP/PAL/NTSC games but if a game has multiple entries there’s no label to select the correct game for the region. If a game doesn’t have multiple entries I presume it’s the NA version which again doesn’t help if I’ve the PAL version
I’d be nice if you could import your own roms on here

Almost perfect but could not label games that are apps (kindle phone etc). Also needs more obscure games like Duck life 3 and the Final Earth 2 (the app does however have Smash remix for some reason) all in all, a great app to keep track of completed games.

Awesome, but!
I've been using this app for ages now and it's really good and clean. The only downside is that it's missing so many games and there's no way of me adding games that's not in the database. I have over 500 Nintendo Switch games and I've run into so many missing games, wish there was a way to add games directly in the app. Also, there's no way of adding my own artwork.
I only ask one thing from y’all
Please add the sort by ESRB/PEGI/whatever region rating feature.
Annoying pop-up
The only reason I give this app a 1/5 is because there is an incredibly annoying popup that reads “synching with GAMEEYE.app: 43%” and it NEVER goes away. It just restarts the percentage. It overlaps with my game list and I just can’t unsee it. I know I know, I’m being very picky, but at least I am being honest. ——— I don’t think devs do well with negative comments. Also no devs, I don’t have slow internet. Running on iPhone 15 Pro Max, clocking at 320mbps, which should be plenty for this app.
A few bugs but a good app
I like using this app because it’s fast. Easy to use. But sometimes clunky. I grew up on pc games and 3/4 of my games are non existent. It says you can add them. Like some apps that make you file your game by taking a photo and filing most of the paper work but it’s non existent. Same could be said with specific titles on consoles. I also would like a login choice. Because even though I like the sync saves. Looking on the website is a bit different. Plus I can’t just look at my list on multiple sites unless I do it all over again. The biggest issue is the scanner. Sometimes it works. Most of the times it doesn’t read period. Loose is a 50/50 but doable. Unless it flickers. Then go to the manual page and do your luck there. I know this sounds like a bad post but it does get the job done. If anyone can help me add games to the app that would be appreciated.
Crashes on iPhone 7
I really wish I could 5-star this app, looks amazing, however as soon as I try to add items or search it the app freezes and I am unable to do anything with it.
What happened
I like the app but all of a sudden it lost my collection after over six thousand entries.

Barcode Scanner Not Working
When I use the Blu-Ray.com app the barcode scanner works flawlessly. Not every item I scan in the app is in their database, but it will always understand that a barcode’s been shown. However, on this app, the barcode scanner refuses to work. I really wanted to use this app, but unless the barcode scanner can be fixed it’s be a chore to add my games to it unlike Blu-Ray.com where I was easily able to add all my Blu-Rays.

Database Not Accurate
The database is filled with homebrew games. For example the Game Boy section has Pokemon Unova Red, Pokemon C*ck, and so on. So much clutter! This makes your overall progress inaccurate. This app would be perfect it wasn’t for such a fatal flaw. Until this is fixed, sticking to notes.

You’ll have to have a barcode for every item you want to catalog because the search option yields no results, no matter what you put in. Is it too much to ask that an included search option work?
Excellent app
So far the app is working wonderfully. Easy to catalogue your games and also have the ability to export to a spreadsheet and save outside of the app in case something happens and you have to redo entries. Only minor issue is some games don’t show up but that’s only a very minor issue as it was only about three of my 353 Nintendo switch games

Okay app. Used it for a while now. Sadly the barcode scanner hardly ever finds my game and I have to add manually. More common on newer games.
Fantastic Game collection tracking
I’ve used this for several years now and have really enjoyed it. Very rare I experience any app issues. I mainly started because I wanted to start collecting some older games and wanted to keep track of what I buy/ pick up when I travel. This has been better than any other app I’ve used.
Deleted my collection of over 6000 games
I’ve been using this app for over 5 years and today it decided to delete everything I had cataloged for the past 6 years, over 6000 games and thousands of hours of inputting. Tried to use a restore point from a few lot ha ago and it did not work. I’ve now lost everything.
4-5 stars
I wish adding QR code’s was easier. Had quite a few boxed consoles that the QR code would not scan in. Otherwise some minor quirks but overall very satisfied. Thanks for creating the app.
Useless in the UK
Checked this out after hearing good things about this online, I saw it had a nearly flawless review score on the App Store, HOWEVER, turns out of you use this outside of the USA this app is completely useless to you. After trying to Batch scan a chunk of my collection most of it isn’t recognised so I’d have to manually add over half of my collection. For example I tried to scan my PS4 games and out of 33 games it didn’t recognise 15 of them. And they aren’t “obscure” titles either. God of War, Red Dead Redemption 2, Uncharted 4, Metal Gear Solid 5, all big games and it doesn’t know them. Moved to my Switch games and it was the same there. I’ve just given up on it. I’m not going to waste my time manually adding games through the database search, as it’s the only way to add the games. After reading all the reviews this has been a problem for a number of years and the app makers have stated they are “working on it” the first response was two years ago, they said the same a year ago too and based on the high volumes of popular games this app can’t recognise it appears, to me, that they aren’t gonna bother anytime soon as the PAL and NTSC-J market doesn’t seem to matter??? Will have to continue using it Sort-it apps for my catalogue as at least they try and cater to everyone. Such a shame as the app looks like it’s amazing if you’re in the NTSC region. But based on how long the makers have been saying they’re on it, they’re clearly not bothered by the outside market. Shame
Lacking a feature that could give it 5 stars
Hi Team, great app you have but it’s downfall is the barcode scanner, especially here in Australia.. I scanned 50+ games and only 2 was identified (sunset over driver & halo MCE) everything else couldn’t be identified. One feature I could suggest and if implemented would see me change my opinion and give you a 5 star rating is for us gamers that have a barcode that couldn’t be identified to then have the ability to find that particular game through your app and then submit the request to thegamesdb.net on your behalf, this would be a much simpler solution and a great partnership for GAMEYE to have under their belt. Please, Please, please implement this feature so it’s not a massive exercise for me to add in my entire game collection via thegamesdb.net site which I’m now trying to work out how to do and will probably give up as their is no clear direction on how to do this…

The best app i ever used it is very useful need little bit refresh of theme and updates but still very great app i hope the the developers make more effort in this great app

Great app, still needs some work but well on the way...unfortunately won’t scan any Australian products in. So only dl it if you are happy to manually type them all in.
