Great app
The app works great and I really like the notifications of weather alerts that talk.
Ads have ruined the app
Nothing like having a bad storm heading your direction and having to watch through ads to see anything! Ads sometimes get “stuck” and you have to get completely out of the app and start over with ads again! Do better Kake!!
Not perfect but
It is wildly more accurate than Apple’s Weather app for local weather

Every single time you switch pages an app shows. I won’t be using it anymore I can’t stand it
Great until hourly precip went away
This has been my go-to weather app for years. I have found KAKE predictions to be more accurate than other local and national sources. But sometime recently, an update removed the hourly likelihood % for precipitation, which I had found to be quite helpful as an estimate. Bring it back please!
Good app…
Every app has their issues, but overall KAKE Weather is good, for the most part the weather is accurate, the alerts are on time and they have an awesome weather team - always catch Frank Waugh in the mornings.

I guess this is a pretty good app. My main concern with it is I will get a notification that says additional information from KAKE first alert. But then it doesn’t say anything else. So I go to the app and there’s nothing new there either.
Left because of the ads
I've been using this app for years but the recent update made ads pop up to fill the entire screen EACH time I change from radar to 10-day to hourly info. It's excessive and annoying and not how it used to be.
Bearnt
Their weather predictions are hit or miss, even for Wichita. Plus, they are not detailed enough about specifically where storm related weather will occur. On top of that, they send you notifications for no reason sometimes accept to maybe up their responses to their notifications.
Easy to use
The best weather app I’ve downloaded. I love all the map settings and features. Doesn’t lag, ads don’t pop up, and I like how far out you can see the hourly forecast.
Was great now ads every click
This was my go to weather app for Wichita area and surrounding areas. Now the app is unusable with ads popping up on almost every click.
Good weather app but a few bugs need fixing
Good local weather app that's gets me the information I need. However two big gripes I have are that it's not Plus enable which means using it on my 6s plus it looks awful. Please update that. Also notifications even though I have them on don't seem to ever come. Fix those two things and this is a 5 star app.
Ads?!
Have had this app for years and relied on it a LOT. Now, since the update, I get no less than 5 ads when I’m just trying to see how the week will be. This is annoying af! It will be less than helpful during storms and tornadoes. Can’t see what’s coming because I have to watch 2 ads first! I’ll probably delete this one and find an app from another local station.
Last update broke app
Like the app but since your last update, the app opens and closes. I am on the latest iOS. Hoping for a new update to fix this soon.
Terrible pop up ads
This used to be the best weather app but suddenly there are so many pop up ads that it makes it almost impossible to navigate.
Was good, now sucks
This used to be a great app. Now you can’t do anything but try to click out of a constant stream of ads that prevent you from accessing content. I deleted it.
You have ruined the app
This has always been my go to app for severe weather information. Now you can’t even open the app that adds pop up back to back and you can never close the second one, son you have to force close it over and over. NONSENSE. Quit being dang greedy.
Getting worse
This used to be one of the best weather apps I’ve ever used and over the last year it just keeps getting worse. Now there are adds that pop up constantly almost every time you click any option within the app. Whoever is doing the decision making for this app only cares about advertising money and not the usability of the app. Make this app good again or I’m just going to delete it. Worthless….
Unusable
This app used to be great. Now ads pop up every time you click on something and they take over the whole screen. Unusable and intolerable now! This needs fixed or the user base is gone.
Needs Update
Can no longer delete locations…menu won’t stay open.
Down Hill
A full page ad every time you touch a section to see is really freaking ridiculous. I’ve had this app for over 10years I’ve told so many people about it being helpful and now it’s trashy. Shame!!
Don’t use this
The app was good but now the new layout is difficult to use. I no longer recommend this app.
Ads
I can’t even use it anymore because every 20 seconds I get an ad. Want to look at the radar? Ad. Want to look at the 10 day forecast? Ad. It’s ridiculous.
Blah
Doesn’t work well. Constantly incorrect info. Weather videos can be from 12 hours ago. Most of the time there isn’t a person on the video. I’m deleting it now.
Now terrible
Was fine before. If this ad thing keeps going on I will absolutely switch to another app. Completely terrible. Just let me check the weather please.
Fails to load past Flash Screen
I have to replace this app often because it stops loading.
Was great. Now not so much.
Ads are getting horrible, to the point that when they pop up there is no way to close the ads out, the button is there but completely unresponsive. Try closing the app and re opening to only have the same thing happen. Hopefully things change. But for time being will be deleting and looking elsewhere.
No has ads...
There are now ads inhibiting the iPhone user from being able to see the past radar and future radar predictions.. Very irritating!!
