Love this game and being playing for the last year
Worst game ever
Evony customer service is nonexistent. They will never fix a problem. They will never compensate you for your loses in game . Evony will only reply with automated messages. Evony only caters to people who spend thousands of dollars every week. Evony does not care about its players/customers. Do not download this game. The only way to achieve anything is by spending big money. You will never be able to compete because match making is unfair. You will never u lock the things necessary to advance because it takes lots of money. Evony will only rip you off. I only give give it one star because I can’t give it zero. I’m a K43 with 13.5 billion power zeroed because of glitches they say it’s my fault. They take away VIP points and tell me nothing they can due. This game is a joke

The game is definitely very fun for people who like to grind up and go up the ranks but most players are pay to win and 18+ so I would suggest staying out of alliances because people can be mean

Game does work quite well, takes time to progress. Unfair that PVP battles allow 1.2 Billion troops matched against 250,000

I have been playing since Covid, and I really like this game. I have found that there are two types of players. The coiners and the non/less coiners. The coiners skip things in order to speed up their level increasing process. Things like research take time. This is the opportunity for the non/less coiners to build a solid strong city. Don’t give up. You will get there because coiners tend to quit when they start losing. Good luck! Have a plan and work your plan. Always use what you have to the fullest extent and you will have fun and make friends.
Fake
I had this game for years and it was nothing like the ad finally I just deleted it because I never got what the ad said I would. If I remember correctly false advertising is illegal. Maybe you should create more accurate ads or eventually someone is gonna do something about. If I could give negative stars I would.
Sub account
It is hard to use a sub account because you cannot send stuff like generals or items that would be better used on main than sub! If you do a family account you are tied together and only get a break on shipping rss . You should be able to transfer more between accounts in family account development stuff like ares blood champion tokens gems troops and armor would be great
Difficult to play
Currently there are visual glitches. They have been going on for weeks that impact lots of players. The updates are carefully timed around server events I believe so cause issues and increase spending. I would look elsewhere for a game to play. I could go on but it isn’t worth it.

The use of ai for the character images is insipid, but the rest of the game is pretty fun

Worst money sucking pit game ever
Game promotes pay to play. If you do not. You won’t be able to achieve anything. Very miss leading game. It glitches and the developers blame your system or device. All they care about is how much money people spend on the game.

Great game, really poor upgrades and customer support
I’ve really enjoyed playing this game, however the unfortunate way that higher monarch levels were implemented has ruined gameplay and driven long-time players to quit. It appears that too few players achieved these new levels that were implemented in an update, so battlefield matchup algorithms were set to allow multiple k49s to battle teams with only k40-45 players. Because of the enormous power discrepancy in the new higher levels, the small teams are zeroed in just a few minutes, and you have to sit in battlefield, bored for 2 hours while neither team gets enough points to qualify for anything. It’s absurd. Worst of all, CS clearly relies on AI, so problems that are reported get a smarmy message about how valued your opinion is, but issues are not addressed. Did I mention that it’s very expensive? And purchases made through the game interface sometimes fail. If that happens, you will never get your money back. AI will request more information for 3 days and then say that their investigation determined that whatever happened didn’t happen and the case has been closed. It’s infuriating. Just know, before you spend, that any problems you encounter will not be addressed by CS. You are on your own.
Toxic behaviour tolerated in favour of coiners
One of the biggest issues in Evony isn’t game mechanics—it’s the way toxic behaviour is often tolerated when it comes from players who spend heavily. Bullying, harassment, constant insults, and disruptive behaviour should be taken seriously regardless of a player’s spending habits. Unfortunately, too often complaints are ignored, minimised, or quietly brushed aside because the individuals involved happen to be heavy coiners. This creates the impression that there are two sets of rules: one for ordinary players, and another for those who generate revenue. That approach damages the community far more than any in-game conflict ever could. Players don’t leave because they lose battles—they leave because they lose faith that the environment is fair and respectful. When toxic behaviour is repeatedly excused, it sends a message that money outweighs sportsmanship and that respectful players are expected to simply tolerate abuse. A healthy server depends on consistent moderation, not selective enforcement. Every player, regardless of how much they spend, should be held to the same standards of conduct. Supporting the game financially should never become a licence to intimidate others or create a hostile atmosphere. Evony has an incredible community and enormous potential, but maintaining that community requires treating reports of bullying with the seriousness they deserve. Fairness, accountability, and respect are what keep players engaged in the long run—not the amount someone has spent on the game.
Enjoyable Game
This game has a lot of nuances and elements for life in Mediaeval times. Knights and Kings are part of the game as well as war and dragons. Fantasy dominates all. Very enjoyable building your own kingdom but watch out for other kings who build their kingdoms raiding others.

Very good and involved strategy game. Certainly keeps you interested. As the game says Build your cities. Train your troops. Expand your empire and empty your wallet. It’s hugely competitive and you are largely governed by the largest spenders on your server dictating what you face. Cut all other unnecessary spending and you will have a budget to improve your chances

Does not answer ticket for racist players
I have logged at least 10 ticket against a player that has made racist statements against peoples origin; nothing had happened. Addition. if you witness player harassment and bullying, the support team will tell you they will not intervene. this correlates to the support, and therefore encouragement of a hostile and abusive platform. support do not demonstrate any care for players even if you pay. be warned. like Meta, they make hundred of millions but dont protect from abuse. so sad how money blurs morality.

Don’t bother game just constantly crashes still they don’t care unless you spend loads of cash shame really but update after update which actually doesn’t improve anything a lot of people have the same issues
False advertising
I got this game that would be exactly like it is in the ads but instead they lie to you and give you a completely different game that’s terrible and it’s filled with ads
Glitches galore
I’ve been happily playing Evony for nearly 3 years. There’s been the occasional glitch, usually fixed in updates. However, after the last update, Evony suddenly started quitting and booting me from the game at random intervals. Sometimes every few seconds, sometimes every couple of minutes. Didn’t matter what I was doing - rallying, typing in chat, upgrading buildings, completing tasks, it was anything. I tried clearing caches, restarting, reinstalling, updating my device. No joy. I contacted support multiple times. They suggested everything I’d already tried. No solution. The game is now virtually impossible to play. Ultimately frustrating.

Way too many side distractions to actually play the game, time consuming multiple screen pressing to open packs of cards, visiting envoys, bags boxes and chests, hypno’s dream is a total waste of time. The game seriously needs streamlining as many are getting tired of it!

Still a good game
Can be fun with friends, can grow quickly with a good alliance, you don’t have to coin if you don’t want to but some coining helps growth and the monthly rally card is a game changer only £10 per month.

In order to have any chance at winning anything in the game, you need to spend spend spend.. ìt used to be a skill based games, but not anymore.

Absolutely terrible inconsistent almost non existent customer service . They continue to charge more and yet have not provided better customer service to follow any of their own rules even.

It becomes a money grabber
In the beginning you grow fast as resources get thrown at you and it’s cheap to grow. Then things get to an almost complete crawl on the growth and others who pay advance way passed you and completely dominate forcing your hand to pay to play basically. Some guys pay thousands of dollars to dominate, It becomes a money grabber. Be ware!!!

It’s a cool game very enjoyable if you like being social and working with other players to develop and grow in the game. Other players will help you. But some of the prices on the game for some packs are crazy. But overall a good game. There’s some nice people on the game. An idea for a future update could be adding the Roman Empire as a culture, developers it’d be a good idea. You did add Japan so why not? Why do we have puzzles? They are irrelevant to the game. Get back asap developers. Thanks.

Too bad it isn’t the game shown on the add. The real game is nothing like the add. I’d play the one in the add all the time.

I think this game is good but I suggest you increase speed ups quantity while Kipling monster or open a chest also new area for different troops a unique troop and main thing is please add roman culture I mean spartan culture and Vikings culture all troops look spartan or Vikings please add new culture that my main point add new culture

Big bullies ruin the game
I like being able to build my kingdom, working at my own pace makes it enjoyable. But, resource cost on building is a bit excessive as your kingdom buildings grow. But the biggest downside of this game is the people who spend excessive amounts of money to get ahead of us free to play people, and then there is nothing in place to stop them from attacking the lower level than they are Keeps! You get some players that don’t even abide by server rules and will attack whenever they feel like it! All the hard work that you put into your game, is gone! These players need either their own server or rules that can be enforced to stop them from attacking lower level players!

I cannot thanks Evony Support words would never express how grateful I am to,the whole team.. Having unforeseen issues that had nothing to do with Evony. The team were able to restore to me many years of work that I had lost due an ungrateful family member who deleted my work. Support was just truly awesome I was reassured from my first contact with support from very compassionate and caring people. They kept a regular update of progress and although I was anxious they were able to reassure they were prioritising my issue and with great integrity restored my work complete. I would recommend highly customer support and will always have you dear to my heart,, sending you all the love ✨✨🙏
