I jumped into the bus, started the app, figured out it’s the wrong bus then had to step out immediately and stop the journey then got an E-Mail that my account was suspended due to suspicious activity. I will do a YouTube video for further info

App très pratique pour les transports, par contre attention, il n’est pas possible d’obtenir une quittance pour un seul trajet professionnel afin d’être défrayé par son employeur. Un peu déçu.

Parcequ’il faut aussi dire quand ça va bien ! Cette application est une libération des contraintes. En effet, elle permet de décider au dernier moment le point de départ et l’arrivée de mon trajet, sans stress. De plus elle est développée en fonction des problèmes et remarques. Continuez ainsi ! Une amélioration ? Je n’en ai pas à demander pour l’instant.
Not getting the sms code
I can’t seem to get the sms code and can’t therefore create an account. I’m using a non-Swiss number but if that’s the issue then why can I select any country from the dropdown?!

Application pratique MAIS. - faire attention de bien terminer le voyage dès la sortie du train sinon la détection automatique va facturer un voyage non fait - le tarif pris en compte est le plein tarif. Si le tarif du train utilisé est inférieur (tarif avantage Futé par exemple en Occitanie) alors le trajet vous coûtera bien plus cher avec FAIRTIQ ! Dans mon cas avec FAIRTIQ j’ai payé le double du tarif SNCF pour le train utilisé …. Le léger gain de simplicité coûte cher …!

Die Idee ist ja lobenswert. Aber die App funktioniert nur mit Vertragspartnern von FAIRTIQ.

Not ready for prime-time
Needs improvement on instructions and customer service (especially attitude) to be ready to serve the fringes of the customer base- tourists, non-native speakers, elderly, etc. The VMT website provides timetables for some routes at the outer edges of their area that are not eligible for FAIRTIQ ticketing. App provides no clear way to determine this and customer service gets snarky when asked about it. It appears there is a VMT map. Do the instructions tell users how’s to consult the map to ensure their route is eligible?
Klappt gut!
Mir wurde diese App empfohlen und ich finde sie gut, alleine schon, weil sie nur eines macht. Das gefällt mir immer besser als Universal-Apps, die vollgestopft mit Funktionen sind, die schwer zu finden sind und sich vielleicht gegenseitig beeinflussen usw. Das Onboarding war supereinfach und übersichtlich. Es gibt jedoch leider keine Unterstützung für 2FA oder Passkeys, sondern man verlässt sich auf einen Magic Link. An Zahlungsmitteln ist alles vorhanden, was man sich wünscht inkl. Apple Pay. Sehr erfreut war ich als ich sah, dass man die Ortung nicht auf „immer“ stehen haben muss, wie das z.B. bei anderen Apps dieser Art ist. Zum Starten einer Fahrt bewegt man einfach einen Slider und los geht’s. Es wurde auf dem Bildschirm die laut Meinung der App naheliegendste Haltestelle angezeigt, die aber auch geändert werden kann. Eine freie Suche ist leider nicht möglich gewesen. Zum Beenden der Fahrt verfährt man analog. Es gibt auch Funktionen in der App für Vergessliche, was manche Nutzer bestimmt begrüßen. Ich habe sie deaktiviert, da ich ungerne Kontrolle abgebe an eine App. Danke, dass das möglich ist. Was mich stört war, dass nicht die aktuelle Haltestelle angezeigt wird, wenn man die Fahrt beenden möchte. Das wäre hier im Ballungsraum sehr nützlich. In der App meines Verkehrsverbundes VRR muss ich regelmäßig die Haltestelle korrigieren vor dem Auschecken, weil es hier so viele auf engem Raum gibt. Macht man das nicht, zahlt man mehr als man müsste und wer will das schon? Am Tag nach meinen ersten Fahrten kam frühmorgens endlich die E-Mail als Bestätigung und meine Kreditkarte wurde dann belastet. Das finde ich ist deutlich zu spät. Klar hängt zwischen mir und der App noch ein Verkehrsverbund, aber dennoch… Das sollte optimiert werden, damit die Zahlung und die Bestätigung zeitnah erfolgen. Es wurde übrigens sehr korrekt abgerechnet. Bei mir griff die 24h Preisgrenze des VRR und die Abrechnung stimmte zu 100%. Eine Sache die besser erklärt werden sollte ist die Unterstützung der Wallet. Steht auf der Detailseite der App im Store, aber mir ist nicht klar, was dies umfasst. Ich würde mir auch wünschen, dass ich die Art Live Notification während der Fahrt auf dem Sperrbildschirm abschalten könnte. Denn sie zeigt nichts Sinnvolles an. Alles in allem ist FAIRTIQ eine tolle App, von der ich hoffe, dass es sie noch lange gibt.
Aktivierung
Die Aktivierung vor dem Einsteigen ist eine Herausforderung und Ungerechtigkeit gegenüber den Automaten im Bus.
Laufende fahrt blockiert andere Standortfunktionen
Solange eine Fahrt läuft kann ich weder Apple Karten noch Google maps richtig nutzen, es wird nur der letzte Standort gefunden an dem ich die fahrt gestartet habe (beim durchschauen hab ich dann gemerkt, dass die Wetter App den Standort komischerweise gefunden hatte, jetzt als ichs aktualisieren wollte wurde auch bei Wetter kein neuer Standort gefunden)

C’est une application que j’aime de tout mon cœur car ça m’évite de penser à payer à l’avance mon billet de train sur la SNCF. Si vous souhaitez avoir un code promo, le voici : MPGM7YQ9N Cependant il manque une fonctionnalité qui m’éviterai d’ouvrir une énième application : le trafic des trains et les heutes

Gute App mit Schwächen
An sich eine gute App. Leider ist es nun zum zweiten Mal passiert, dass ich aus der App abgemeldet war ohne das dies durch mich initiiert wurde (aufgrund Updates). Ich nutze die App aus Bequemlichkeit und weil ich ihr vertraue. Durch solche Aktionen arbeitet ihr aktiv gegen Vertauen an. An die Entwickler: Achtet bei Updates darauf, dass die Anmeldetokens der User weiterhin aktiv bleiben. Sonst verbaut ihr euch das Vertrauen. Die App nützt mir nichts, wenn sie nicht direkt auf Anhieb funktioniert. Ein ständiges neu Anmelden ist in der Eile teilweise nicht drin. Dann wechsle ich auf den DB-Navigator…

Mehrere Kinder
Es wäre schön, wenn man mehr Personen, in meinem Fall Kinder, mitnehmen könnte. Wenn ich mit meinen zwei Stiften unterwegs bin, bin ich wieder gezwungen am Automaten Tickets zu kaufen, da ich nur ein Kind als Mitteisenden angeben kann.
Fairtiq auf der Applewatch
Liebes Fairtiq Team, ich wünsche mir eine eigenständige App auf der Applewatch weil es auch mal vorkommen kann, dass die Smartwatch keinen Strom mehr hat. Wie soll man dann noch ein Ticket lösen können?
Standort
Sehr gute App, aber dass der Standort immer eingeschaltet sein muss, auch wenn die App nicht in gebraucht ist, ist nicht gut, aber ok. Aber dass die Appel-Watch nicht standalone funktioniert ist wirklich ein Minuspunkt. Muss beim Laufen immer das Handy dabei haben, echt ärgerlich!

Praktisch, aber ein Mangel
Preisgünstige Alternative zum Einzelfahrschein. Störend ist, dass in den Einstellungen verlangt wird, die Ortung auf „immer“ zu stellen. „Nur beim Verwenden der App“ sollte ausreichen; denn nicht jeder will permanent getrackt werden. Wenn man das nicht will, muss man nach jeder Fahrt die Einstellung zurücksetzen - lästig.
Permanenter Standortzugriff
Wieso ist seit dem letzten Update ein permanenter Standortzugriff erforderlich? Sonst war es ausreichend, wenn dieser bei Nutzung freigegeben war. Ich habe übrigens die Meldung von meinem iPhone bekommen, dass in den letzten Tagen der Standortzugriff genutzt wurde und das, obwohl ich die App nicht in Nutzung war.
geplante Reise speichern
Gute App aber mir fehlt die Möglichkeit, vor Antritt einer geplanten Reise, diese speichern zu können so wie der SBB app. Das wäre sehr hilfreich bei Verbindungen mit mehrmaligem Umsteigen. Könntet ihr bitte diese Funktion noch einbauen.

Excellent easy to use App which calculates the cost of journeys daily and sends you a bill to enable you to check your expenditure.
Payment not accepted
Note that for the article about payment problems on their own site, only 48 out of 232 find it helpful. This app is not ready for prime time. If more than 3/4 of people find the support unhelpful, some new engineers are needed. Deleting the app, because it won’t work. Don’t waste your time.
Sehr gute App
Gegenüber EasyRide der SBB ist sie insbesondere praktisch, weil man Mitreisende erfassen kann, sodass die nicht selbst ihr Smartphone aktiv halten müssen. Ein Stern Abzug gibt es allerdings, weil die REKA-Card als Zahlungsmittel abgehängt wurde! Bei Alleinreisen muss ich daher wieder zu EasyRide greifen. Schade.
Standortdaten müssen dauerhaft angeschaltet sein
Die App verspricht viel, hat aber einige Mängel. Sie funktioniert nur, wenn ich meine Standortdaten dauerhaft mit FAIRTIQ teile!! Warum gibt es keine Option, den Standort nur während der Nutzung der App zu teilen? Außerdem funktioniert die Auto-Stopp-Funktion überhaupt nicht. Auch das manuelle Beenden der Fahrt ist häufig nicht möglich.
Leider immer noch nicht kompatibel mit Halbtax Plus
Ich habe Fairtiq sehr geschätzt für die Einfachheit der Bedienung und den guten Support. Nun musste ich zu Easy Ride wechseln, da ich sonst mein Halbtax plus nicht nutzen kann.

Requires “share location always”
It is hard to imagine what honest purpose it solves to require sharing location always not just when the app is being used. If not an honest purpose, then it’s an intrusive and dark purpose. Deleting this spyware and finding another way to do what I have to. Doesn’t matter what your privacy policy states. There is no forgivable reason to collect positon always. Uber doesn’t do it. No other app Does. None except FAIRTIQ. Figure it out. Do like everyone else and share location only while the app is being used. Requiring my location ALL THE TIME for the less than 0.1% of the week I might use your app is Unforgivable. I have a simple work around instead of turning track location on and off manually - don’t use the Fairtiq app. That takes no time. In fact, I’m much happier with that solution.

Coole App und Funktionalität. Schade bloss, dass man nicht sieht, wie sich der Preis am Ende des Tages zusammensetzt (was für ein Billett schlussendlich dem verrechneten Preis zugrunde liegt).
Privacy
Nice concept but the App won’t work with location tracking set to “While Using” although it is an option. I will remove and delete my account after my trip is complete.
Auf der Apple Watch schwach.
Leider funktioniert die App auf der Apple Watch nicht wie erwartet. Beim Laden einzufrieren kann nicht der Sinn sein. Noch schlimmer ist der Kundendienst: Der lädt auch nur, gibt aber keine Antwort. Ein no go!

This app has saved me so much time and energy buying tickets and worrying about missing catching a train because I haven’t got a ticket yet. Best Swiss app I’ve ever downloaded.
Location “Always” is REQUIRED
I updated the app today and it won’t function at all. States I need to enable location access. Location access IS enabled as “While Using the App”. And it still refuses to function. Great way to bypass baked-in iOS security - either grant full all the time tracking or don’t use the app.
A little easy to misuse, quick customer service
I was traveling and used the app for the first time to get to the main train station to catch an intercity train. I was rushing a bit and forgot to “stop” my trip. I ended up getting charged for ~4x my fare. I contacted customer service and they were able to refund me, and quite quickly at that. The app seems like it’s a little too easy to misuse. By default, they should enable reminders about closing one’s trip, maybe asking them what their destination stop is to help with delivering the reminder promptly; it would be good to ask users to opt out of such reminders rather than opt in. Users *will* occasionally forget to stop their trips and they should make it really easy and clear how one can request a refund too. The app wasn’t stupid-proof enough for me, and it won’t be for others too. In my opinion, the basic design choice of requiring users to remember to stop trips is really a questionable one. That said, otherwise, the app is well-designed and customer service was responsive (after I gave an initial 2 star review—not sure if that was related). Honestly, I’d give 3.5 stars if I could.

use it since two years. if there is ever a problem when recognizing the place you start or stop, they immediately give a feedback and correct it. customer service is efficient and reliable.
No Apple Pay 😢
Bummer at signup... Thanks four your replay. How do you mean; expensive as in fees or to implement it? Straight from the Apple Website: “Are there additional fees to accept Apple Pay? No. Apple doesn't charge any additional fees. “ And f.e. stripe comes with built in support for Apple Pay… So no excuse there. So not only do you not implement it, you also make fools of your customers? -2 stars…

Very good idea, but I couldn't use it as they don't accept Amex. Worse: they don't accept ApplePay. This is ridiculous not to use built-in payment options.
Do not use blindly
The concept of this app is really cool. Turn it on, get on a bus, train, etc. and get the bill at the end of the day, adapting to the best ticket fare. The best ticket fare, really? Well, you better check that before, not to get bad surprises. For long time, it existed only a few types of price fares for train in Switzerland, but now it exist half a dozen if not more. Specially, a new super-reduced ticket is available for specific trains, which you have to check. I wrote to FAIRTIQ asking if their system would recognise when a specific ride offers the super reduced price and I got no answer. Which means no... As the super-reduced ticket is 50% cheaper, there is little chance you get the best price using this app. So compare prices for the ride you are considering beforehand.
