Basalte Home reviews
4.6 out of 5, based on 100 reviews.
What people like
- Very easy to use and intuitive
- Simple setup and configuration process
- Solid and stable performance overall
What they complain about
- App crashes and loses connection often
- Sound source selection is confusing and hard
- Missing home screen widgets for quick control
Uncompromising quality, intuitive interface, and it’s reliable
As an owner of other control systems in the past, Basalte seems to have been paying close attention to what is truly important from the user perspective. I’m just thrilled with my Basalte system and this app is fantastic!
Bad usabiliy & disturbing reloads
- Selecting sound sources, radio stations and Spotify playlists is often unintuitive and complicated - significant functionality is not configurable by the user; needs Basalte partner to configure. Also: very unflexible what to configure. - shows a connection dialogue and reloads the interface whenever the network connection changes - very disturbing when walking through the house or arriving to the house and the connection changes from GSM to WiFi and back. Please do cache and do reloads in the background.
Nice app
Nice, intuitive apps. But rating 4 because it’s missing widgets functionality. Would be great to be able to trigger scenes from iPhone Home Screen. If that feature will be ever available - will definitely update my rating to 5/5 :)
Good, but could be more convenient
Dear Basalte team, Well done. Solid, stable app with nice screendesign. Would love to see some update that improve convenience such as - AppleWatch support - a loudspeaker icon in the room tile to see if music is playing (same as you already do with the light icon) - Door/ window open info in room details (and not only on the homescreen) - music info on the iPhone Homescreen for the current room including volume fading via the iPhone hardware keys. Thanks for your kind consideration.
Works Great
Easy to control your KNX Smarthome.
Steuerung finde?
Superbe !
Supervision complete, jolie, efficace et intuitive ! A recommander 👍
Basalte App en iOS 15
Prima app. Soms. Wel 5, 6 keer.
Richtig gut !
Eine sehr gelungene App. Weiter so !!!
Basalte Home KNX programmeur
