This app is horrible and very inconsistent. This app should not be anywhere over a 2 star but then again there is millions of people who think is worth anything.

Keeps saying network issue please try again later this has been going on for months I have deleted reinstalled I have the latest version I have cleaned out my cache nothing works I have tried. Never had this problem before the last update

Always having issues With the app
I’ve found it useful
It does crash sometimes but earlier reviews about not being able to use in the uk are old. I use it in uk to fund a family members phone / tablet account in the USA which is a huge relief. Messages seem to be near enough instant also
Fix the app
Whatever update yall did is horrible. I never had so many issues with this app before. When you open it it’s loading for forever and then closes out

I got an iPhone n been having nothing but issues with this stupid app I write u can’t see the screen where u are writing so I have to go back n reread whole letter n fix mistakes n it don’t save to drafts n constantly times me out n signs me out in middle of letter without saving in drafts like it used to do I just spent an hour writing my loved one cuz I had to go back n forth just about to hit send n bam timed out n signed me off n whole hour letter that was very very long just gone I tried to reach out to customer service n keep getting it don’t understand question the stars just keep slowly going down on this review

The worst app I’ve ever used out of all the other ones drop calls, static calls, robot voice echo sound no sound skipping sounds choppy voice video call are terrible are not working currently WiFi features not reliable enough mostly under Pleasant Valley State prison coalinga ca expressive one time single use 7.99 music and movie prices

Cause we have to use it, has a it of bugs and issues but at least it connects us to people we’d like to see and talk to. Service and customer service could be a lot better honestly.
Good site concept
I’m grateful that I can communicate with my loved one in this way. Unfortunately, the site gives a lot of error messages, but when it works it’s a game changer

Verify age
I keep getting an access denied and I don’t know how to verify my page if you won’t even let me in the damn app. I go to JPay and it lets me verify my age but it doesn’t transfer over the securus there has to be a better way to do this wtf
Horrible company
There are always issues either with the connection the sound or even scheduling visits. The quality of the video visits are so horrible it should be a crime to charge that much for it. GTL at least had an amazing service!
Improvements
It’s a 3 star app due to the fact that I wish I could update a video from my camera roll and send it to my fellow friends. For better quality.

This app all it cares about is add money before you can proceed when there are issues you can’t use. No good . Useless.
Too expensive & no notifications
Please add a notifications. Email notifications aren’t enough. Please also make stamps more affordable. I’m in Australia and it’s costly me minimum $0.33 to send one message. I want to love this app but it just needs a few little improvements.

Worst app ever!
It’s more than unfortunate that our county in Texas uses this horrible app! The descriptions of the options are confusing, to put it mildly. Need help? The chat robot knows very little. Neither chat nor the phone number will allow a conversation with a human. If you email your questions, all you get in response is a message telling you to go back to the app and go through the whole cycle again. A person is already under stress with having a loved one in jail without having to deal with this ridiculous app! I have had occasion to engage with this kind of service in Louisiana and it was a piece of cake. This makes me wonder who in Harris County thought this awful app should get the contract with its jails.

Horrible App
Every time I turn around these idiots are denying me access. I’ve been sending my friend messages for years and all of a sudden I am denied because they redid something. Then I was denied because I was some fictional character. Now I’m denied because I can’t verify my age. I’m 78 years old and I have to verify my age!!! This is the worst most screwed up company I’ve EVER dealt with and I’m DONE.

No conecta la videollamada lo intente x todo el tiempo que pague por todos los minutos y jamás conectó quisiera un reembolso de mi dinero ya que se está pagando por un servicio que por falla de la app no sucedió revise mi internet antes de conectar la llamada y prepare todo para por ser ver a la persona pero el servicio pésimo espero respuesta

This is a great idea so you can video visit your loved ones. It needs a bit improvement overall because sometimes video doesn't work like it should, but try to improve and make it work!

They’re mining for data
Securus turns basic communication into excessive consent and data collection. Now I’m denied access unless I share my age range through my Apple account. It’s not about my age being sensitive. It’s the constant demand for another permission or piece of personal information just to use basic services. Collect what you actually need and stop mining users for data.

The app is always down and experiencing technical difficulties, stressful when you have a loved one incarcerated but when it does decide to work it is a good app
