Mattolina LLC
I really love your application despite the low stars from some of the viewers. I really enjoy the app. The application is free as a Software Engineer who creates 360 Vr Videos the YouTube application removes the 360 VR videos function. This is the only good application where the ads are not crazy every two seconds. This application does has ads note but it’s not aggressive. I don’t get the negative reviews but otherwise this application helps with my bipolar of Going to Japan. Thank You for making this application don’t let the Hatters hate on the application.😇😇😇🤓🤓🤓😎😎😎😎
Can’t watch
Anything without ads. Nice try Wong, don’t keep trying.
Almost there
I just need an option to add a gap for vr videos. My headset requires a gap between the videos to work. Please make it adjustable.
Ruined by incessant ads now
Absolutely ruined with ads im not sure the dev has tried to watch anything since increasing the ad rate but they should to see how useless the app is now
Good and bad
It functions quite well with the videos it works with and is easy to use. VR videos I try from the last two years don’t seem to be compatible but the older ones all work great. It says you can load from Google Drive which would be incredibly helpful for phone storage when viewing VR. Unfortunately Google says not to trust the app with your information and will auto revoke access. So I’m leaving this review in hope they fix that!
Absolutely wonderful!
Wonderful application, with so many features so as to satisfy every VR need of yours! It’s more than definitely worth the Pro version and I hope to see it always kept up to date for us lucky users. :)
Garbage
I spent 2 hours trying to make it work properly until I threw the headset against the wall. There’s no enjoyment with this app. Try something else.
VR Photo & Video Viewer
This does everything I want, except for the option to slow down videos and speed them up. Most video viewers go like this: Slower 1.0 normal .9 .8 .7 .6 .5 Faster 1.0 normal 1.1 1.2 1.3 1.4 1.5 Some go faster like 2.0 to 4.0 but that’s ludicrous speed to me. From .5 to 1.5 would be perfect. I would not only buy that option, but I’d buy a few more that are already in the app. Without the option to slow down or speed up as standard video players usually do I just can’t justify buying anything right now for this app. This app does everything else and I want to upgrade it. Hopefully this will be added and I’ll definitely change the 4 star rating to 5. It should be higher, but that’s my opinion. Thank you for being the only one out of at least 10 apps that work for looking at pictures. To me, that’s just a cool new way to look at my pictures. Use your imagination and it almost feels like you could relive a special moment in your past. I can’t wait to try out the 360 videos I’m making.
Amazing
This app is great. I have a VR headset where you put your phone inside of it and I’m able to watch any videos and this is even more helpful because of how YouTube got rid of VR mode thank you so much for creating this app. This is really, really helpful. I don’t have any problem with it. Yes, so this is great. You guys should download this if you have one of those well yeah that’s all I have to say this may not be the best review. I’m just not good at explaining things
NETFLIX
HOW DO I WATCH NETFLIX I HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR 20MINS
Great app for me
I don’t know why so many people download an add supported app then gripe about ads. This app works great for me and I tested with 5 different VR formats from SBS, Cardboard, 360, etc. I was able to switch them to work with my headset easily, tracking was terrific, and I didn’t notice any lag. After testing it out I was happy to pay a few bucks for this great tool. I have not tried the helper app yet but without it the mobile app is still well worth the price. Use the add supported version just to make sure it works then upgrade. Is worth it
I won’t play MKV files
Will not play MKV files. App says to get VR helper. There is no VR helper. Cannot play MKV files. Why is the stress not included to start with. 95% of videos are made with MKV‘s.
Good app
Just one question though, how do I change a video out of rotating with my camera in the YouTube feature. Like the title says, good app
One video worked great, now totally broken
This played one video amazingly well, and then it just stopped playing all videos that are VR. Whenever you hit the “play” button on the bottom, it’s just a black screen. Really a shame, because it has great features and the one single video it played WAS great. But as it stands this is just broken iOS VR app #717.
Remove the adverts!
Please remove the adverts in the app as they are highly distracting. If not you have just lost a user, who was otherwise very satisfied with this app.
Not a bot😏
Really one of the first vr apps to work. If you don’t believe me try it.🤷♂️
Didn’t work
Couldn’t get it to work.
Not bad
It it not horrible, a little complicated, but I am still super impressed, just find the right adjustment for you and it will be great 👍
Hmm…
Can you add a screen sharing thing like to where you can see your screen on phone and play like roblox and other things
Good Player
The App itself is great. I couldn’t get the video helper to work. I really wanted to stream from my pc.
THIS IS THE BEST APP
I’m serious, you can convert every video to see with your vr googles
Used to work
Used this a lot before randomly it stopped working, would use it to play vr videos with a vr headset on the 180 view setting but now all the videos are just black screens even ones that I’ve watched before
Almost all negative reviews over ads for unpaid version
Was looking for a player to split screen video for the cheap ‘VR’ goggles you can buy. This does exactly that plus a good handful of other fun options. If you don’t like the ads, try paying the programmer. I would suggest adding in a ‘Shuffle Play’ option for the video library option, my kids love watching stuff on the phone using the goggles, but not in the same order every time.
Great app, but streaming from PC doesn’t exist
I’m finding this app a pretty easy way to watch 3D content from youtube, but the windows app to stream from my computer, my main use case, doesn’t seem to have been available since... 2017?
Reorientation
We used to be able to recenter videos while laying back. For some reason it doesn’t work anymore.
Awsome!! But....
There are a lot of ads, and my screen constantly glitches and freezes. But otherwise, it is a great app!
Trash
Formats all messed up can’t watch anything Not can I orientate it properly
at least it’s what was advertised
it works pretty well at converting regular videos into the vr format. there’s not much to say other than it works rather well. however i recommend not using it at night or in dark environments unless you enjoy the sensation of prison spotlights being flashed directly into your eyes. no matter what i tried the app automatically transferred the brightness to maximum. so aside from that issue, it’s at least what was promised
Don’t install
The app in itself is fine but in every few minutes I was interrupted by an ad it was like in every 3-5 minutes. So I couldn’t enjoy watching movie whereas I got so annoyed and uninstalled it
A pain
Nothing but a headache when it comes to viewing a image I know it’s not my sharper image headset cause others I can see with two eyes. This I got to close one eye to view the image totally and fixing the screen so I can view at less with both eyes leaves me crossed eyed
The best app ever
I love it so much and i used every day
Used to work great, now nothing but problems
Do yourself a favor and don’t download this app
Great app!!
This works fantastic!! I would buy the upgrade if it had gaze controls for browsing and video playback.
Used to be great on older phones
A brilliant app that works well, but when viewing in horizontal mode on an iPhone that doesn’t have a home button, you can’t scrub through the video as the iPhone wants to exit the app (it thinks you are trying to swipe up). I really hope this can be fixed in a future update.
Great app but...
This is the best VR video player on the App Store although i have one problrm that bugs me, when i bookmark a video the link stops working after 24 hours is there a fix or a way to stop it doing this?
BEST ONE YET!
So I got this because I HATE having to look at a tiny screen and still see bright colors with the lights on or off around me and my room. I tried a bunch others and none of them worked. There are some ads that come maybe every 15-20 minutes. But, you can get anything you want from your photos, safari, ICloud Drive, YouTube, or some other video apps you have like Netflix or Hulu. I suggest you get this COMPLETELY FREE VR video player app.
Spirit Airlines of Apps
The $3.99 paid version opens VR files. That’s it. Want to scrub forward? $3.99 extra. Adjust the volume? $3.99 extra. Delete the app of your Mac forever? $3.99 extra. Total trash.
Generally very good
The only issues I’ve had is it crashes on a few vids when switching between 3D modes - non OpenGL settings don’t help because they are too slow (on a 6s). Also won’t play flv files. One question - in the settings there is a slide show setting but I can’t find anywhere how to play a slideshow
Not a fan
Says its good for VR/cardboard stuff, but it isn't. Too reliant on touching the screen and gestures for control, needs gaze controls for proper VR use. I don't think the person who made the app even uses a VR headset, otherwise they would have realized this :l
Doesn’t support native formats
You can stream from a PC which is great as normally you have to download the videos onto the phone. Having said that, the support for video codecs is pretty bad. I’m not sure why the software doesn’t support formats that are NATIVELY supported in IOS. Transcoding on the pc is totally unnecessary and reduces the quality. The app says it supports MKV but it DOESN’T - it has to transcode into MP4 even when the video is already in h264. It’s easy to repackage the h264 into an mp4 container without recompression on a pc (if you’re a video geek), but for everyone else - why can’t the player access h264 in an mkv container? If I can re-package (convert without recompression) into mp4 and then watch in this app then in the case of h264 in mkv then your helper app could repackage instead of re-encode (which should be treated as a last resort). Also your app does not support mkv if the file has to be converted to MP4 before playback. Furthermore why doesn’t the app support h265: it is not a new format in fact it’s the de facto standard in iOS 11. I get the need for an external decoder, but h265 isn’t optional these days.. it would be great if you could update your codecs. Otherwise it’s a good app and does what it is supposed to but sadly I’m not going to re-encode my videos into a 10 year old format because one app doesn’t conform to modern standards. I hope you can resolve the format issue, it’s a game-breaker for an otherwise very cool app. If it can be fixed to play modern formats I’ll definitely buy it. I would also recommend reviewing your description as the formats listed are NOT all compatible with the app and that is important - you know, to be honest.
My life depends on it
I live through this app
Not working well
The double images are overlapping each other making me feel crosseyed . I’m using it on iPhone 14 pro max.
My View on the app
The app is good but needs to support more video types e.g. flash player and others.
good but not so
many unless ads
Latest update not good
The latest update messed up the 2d view on 180 degree videos
The best
Has every possible configuration for vr video, nice
Poor execution
Every time I put my phone into the daydream it pushes the many buttons on the top right hand corner and it ruins the format that I set up every time it’s annoying and unusable because the menu is trigger-happy there should be a way to turn off the menu options when watching videos
Best app for VR
I think this app is great for anyone who is interested in VR. Because the options that this app provides, it make it better than any other app that I know of.
Not bad
Not bad, but has quite bad chromatic abberation. Would be better if you could look around in zoom mode 1. Quite a bit of delay with head tracking in zoom mode 2 and above. iPhone 6s plus, screen is too big. Needs a qr scan facility so it can adjust for different headsets...possibly the cause of bad picture?
Looks good but
Needs to have support for 360 degree videos! BTW I love the feature that you can stream videos from your PC.
