What people like
- Great for finding and deleting huge files.
- Free version has a generous feature set.
- Sorts images effectively by actual file size.
- Compresses photos well without losing date info.
What they complain about
- Shows many photos as zero bytes.
- No way to select all photos at once.
- App crashes frequently with large libraries.
- Sorting by size is locked behind paywall.
Functionality is top notch!
UI feels a little bland but the functionality is top notch!
Pictures don’t even show up!!
paid for premium thinking that make it work but it didn’t
Need heif format and album
Would be better if it can compress photos into heif format. Would be better if I can add photos to album in the app. It’s annoying when choose multiple photos I can’t slide and have to choose one by one.
Love this!
Super handy for finding my largest photos and deleting them to free up space! I’m a photographer so often have high res files I’ve copied on my phone - about 20mb each. After I’ve edited and sent them to friends I don’t really need them anymore but it can be hard to find them afterwards and they just sit on my phone for years taking up space! This app helped me free up loads of space and I can use my phone again😁 Thanks!
You have to pay for it work
The one thing you actually want this app for, to filter by size, is behind a paywall? Kys delevopers
Disappointed
Can’t do multiple selections. One by one. Does not size-sort video, only pics. Can’t get refresh button to work (on iphone version). Mysterious why Apple does not give sort-by-size functionality (conflict of intetest re: iCloud storage biz?). Had hoped this app would be better. On lookout for future iterations if improved would be killer.
Please make deleting a photo just one press
I have to move my thumb to the top of my very big phone screen, press the dots and then move thumb back down to the bottom to press the delete button. I have to do this for every single photo Please put a delete button at the bottom of the screen
Useful!
Sorting by size is an important feature for large libraries. Good job and thanks keep it up. Any place for feature requests?
Doesn’t filter the iCloud storage by size
Shows 0 bites for iCloud videos and photos
Videos
Really good, would be even better if it could sort videos too!
Feature miss: SELECT ALL, APP crashed
I just bought this app in order to reduce the size of all my screenshots. But the app crashed just with 300 images together. I have around 6000 screenshots to compress 🥲 Also big feature miss, SELECT ALL isn’t included. Please fix these issues.
This is invaluable and has no close competitor
I routinely keep over 20,000 photos on my iPhone and iPad. iCloud can stall if the largest photos are not compressed or deleted on devices and this app gives me an easy way to sort by size and compress large images. No other tool I found handles these simple tasks I needed as easily as this app does.
does half the job
Says “photo and video sort by size” but only does photos
Not easy to figure out
I spent way too much time trying to learn how to use this app, and even then, I only successfully got info on 215 photos. There are no instructions. The app is not intuitive enough so you can add more photos to your selection. Maybe a “select more photos” button would be a good idea. It’s a good idea, but having to manually select each photo to check is pretty useless when you have 7,000 photos and are using this app to find the ones to delete. Not buying the pro version until this is sorted out.
A lot of image sizes are estimated incorrectly
I saw that this app sorted all images by size, and I was very excited to use it to free up storage on my iPhone. I even purchased the pro version because it had great reviews. But when I scroll through my images, I see that a lot of them are shown as 0 bytes. Then I click on them, and then they are actually much bigger than 0 bytes. Sorting by size does not help, the "0 byte" images are not shown as their true size. If you want to find the true size of an image, you have to click on it individually. This app is awesome for compressing images, but not for sorting them by size. I will upgrade my review to 5 stars when this is fixed. This is a very important feature.
Please add feature
Sir application is good. I m your paid user. But i want image size reduced according to size not percent plz add this feature
0MB Glitch ruins the whole app! (GOT SCAMMED!)
So I bought the $3 Pro and when I tried going through the sizes 99.99% of my photos were 0MB which I know definitely weren’t. Please fix this or don’t EVER buy this app or the pro!!

Love it! Here on iPhone in "Apple land" there's nothing is like PhoTop iMage sizer/viewer...
Love it! You're on to something useful here. It is odd that on iOS, I can't See nor Sort anything relating to size metrics of pix. View or Tool. Many times I download images and they become too large. I next download a smaller version. Now I have 2 pix- alike but one is lager - yet no way to see this. I am hoping to do this, on this iPhone as soon as I figure out how to do it with your PhoTop iMageSizer.,. Except for your "PhoTop." That's Great Design!! It's quite uniqie. Thanx...
Potential
Has potential but a third of my images show up as zero bytes so it’s kinda useless.
Thanks for the app!💯
Please fix cant perform any function (delete, export, etc) Ios 14.0.1
Very good. Not sure why some neg reviews
Is there a way to view the bursts?
Has potential but has one big issue
I’m running out of space because of small Instagram reposted images that get dumped into my photo stream. I bought Pro and have 10,000 small images. No select all even with Pro?? Even if I had the 100hrs to select 10,000 images one by one manually my thumbs would be stubs before then. Feature request. Have a select 1000 button that double confirms on delete. This app is completely useless unless something like this is added and I would like a refund. If you add this feature I would rate five stars!
Select All
Can you select all? Would give it a higher rating if so.

Perfect
Perfect
Cannot handle large libraries
Used the free version and it kept crashing so I purchased the Pro version. Still crashes.
Features that should be native to iOS
Finally the power to manage our camera roll properly, and a very generous feature set for a free app.

Nice
Does what it says
It doesn’t work
I downloaded it, payed for the pro version and it didn’t work as a PRO, them I deleted and downloaded it again and couldn’t restore my purchased, it showed only a error message in my screen!
Fails...
I was about to buy pro version but when I tried to sort photos by colors it crashes. Avoid this one until they fix it. Good idea but simply does not work...
