What they complain about
- App crashes constantly while watching
- Videos freeze or buffer often
- Casting to TV does not work
- Too many long ads interrupt viewing
Winter Fishing
With the lack of safe ice the past couple of winters here in Michigan, it’s nice to watch a variety of fishing shows to get my fix, sort of!?
Not a good platform
Every time I open this app the videos I try to watch just stop, so I leave for a while and come back to try it again to see if the issues have been fixed. They never are. Could be a great platform. Very disappointing.
Fishing
Very enjoyable and convenient
Poor Quality App
I lost the Waypoint Channel from my LG, but happy to find they had this app. It doesn’t work most of the time and cuts off, closing the app. Some of the functions within the app do not work either. Great Channel, but wished the developers can fix all the issues.
Need to audit feed
Love the content offered. But latency is a BIG issue. Across several streams the Karl Store hung for upwards of ten seconds at start, sometimes pausing during add. This stuff matters, as it brings you down and off-colors their brand. Hope to see an improvement, soon!
Excellent
This app provides quality content for free that keeps me sane in the off season. Especially with having a newborn, it’s difficult to find time to do the things I love outdoors. This app brings the outdoors to me when the weather isn’t baby friendly.
Too many ads
Too many and too long of adds for content provided
Awesome content quality but app always crashes
This is my favorite app for fishing content but I can’t ever make it through one episode without the entire app crashing, it doesn’t matter what device I’m on: iPad, MacBook Air, iPhone and roku… it crashes every single time
Expected More
The app constantly freezes or just shuts down in the middle of watching something. Trying to watch even on fiber optic internet service and this app goes into cardiac arrest at will. I can see myself using this every day if it would just work right.
Great when the app doesn’t crash.
I love the shows on here but doesn’t matter if it’s on my phone or Roku, the app crashes every time in the middle of an episode.
Love Red Rising
Thanks to this app I can watch my favorite hunting show “Red Rising”! Love this App!
Super frustrating
No way to see what shows you have watched, always have to start from the beginning, and app crashes!
Update the app
Update the app so I can air play on other devices
Waypoint tv app review
It’s a good app to watch your outdoor sports shows. I love it when it’s working but the app cuts out after an episode maybe two if I’m lucky. I don’t know if this happens to anyone else but this is what happens to me
Content is superb....no chrome cast with iOS
If you can’t find something that interests you here, you are not an outdoorsman. However, programs won’t cast to a chromecast tv from iOS -it did on previous versions- so I have to knock it down a couple notches. 5 star otherwise.
Pecock in the glades
Good show. Could have been more informative regarding area fished
Not connecting
Not casting to tv. Not even opening up on tv app. Garbage
I pad
W the guy who
Great content, trouble chrome casting, will work on a desktop
I stopped watching for a while, but when some of my favorite shows such as “Into The Blue” had some new episodes, I tried watching again. The problem is, it doesn’t work with chromecast anymore. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and even tried it using my iPhone and my iPad. Neither one worked. UPDATE! If you have a desktop on the same wifi network as your chromecast. Open Waypoint in a google chrome browser. Click the three dots in the top right and select “cast”! Works great!
Mr M C
Very informative & educational
Videos Pause too often
No matter if I’m on Wi-Fi or cellular the videos pause and the sound continues.
Improve stability
Great concept but execution not there yet, good content but frustrating to watch with the video pausing or crashing regularly
Great site
Love this site. I get to watch my favorite fishing shows when I want.
Needs updating
Content won’t load
Waypoint is awesome.
The best place to watch all your favorites!
Content is great, app is not
This app has issues on Roku, iPhone and Mac pc. So wish it worked I would only watch Waypoint if it did
Awesome app
Great quality, great fishing shows all in one app. I love it!!😃
The app doesn’t work...
I’m trying to play the Florida Sportsman episodes and it just plays a podcast I never have played. Please fix! I’m using an iPhone X with iOS 13. Will change rating if I can actually use the app.
Great shows
Really enjoy the shows on this APP. AWESOME!!!
Failed Update
iOS update didn’t fix the App... was able to watch a few shows at first, but now everything just freezes and I have to close the app. They need to try again. Lost all functionality to cast shows to my TVs, so I’m completely limited to my phone screen which deters even using Waypoint
Sloppy
The app doesn’t stay connected and is very choppy.
Won’t work
I just downloaded the new version that say will work with iOS 13. App still says phone not connected to the internet. But clearly I am. Very disappointed
