Best Australian auction site
Best and easy to use auction site, now with the new update added, it is fantastic. So easy and being able to zoom in is a really nice feature of the photos. Greatly appreciate the app. Good job 👍👌
Scam
They literally scammed me, lied about the product
Nice new interface but flawed
Bidding on couple of cars at the same time, but in the ‘my bids’ tab, no matter which car you select to view, it only shows the first car. Please fix
Selling rubbish
90% of the items on here are rubbish
Search Function
Can’t search cars by state because if there is too many options it gets stuck spinning the red circle.

Great to do Business with and app easy to use
Revert Back!
The new app upgrade is total crud. Revert it back to the old one before you start losing business. How on earth they thought this was an improvement is beyond me.
Site needs a lot of work
It’s very difficult to win an auction for wine when the finish time keeps changing.
User Unfriendly
Ugh, never has an app been harder to operate. Confusing, frustrating and a lot of going in circles. You get an oops button that doesn’t lead to the support and when you go searching for a support page it eventually goes to an email address. I didn’t bother, to be effective at winning an auction you have to be quick and smooth, and this app is neither.
Good overall but there's a bug
Very good app, but there's been a bug on the home page for years now, on the auctions closing today section basically non of the listings work. When you select one it just states no results found. Very annoying.
Loved
Super clean
Fraud
Do not buy anything. They are fraud. I ordered something. Didn’t get delivered after 5 months. When i called about matter didn’t have any proper answer. After 10-12 calls and 15-20 email they said we can’t do anything. The parcel was delivered but we can’t share the details.
Not working
Tried downloading app and keeps coming up with error load…not sure if site is having problems or my iPhone 15 just not accepting 😔
Page refresh
Great app to negotiate. Just a little frustrating when you’re reading the nitty gritty on a vehicle and the app refreshes and takes you to the top of the page your reading and not the exact thing that you’re reading. Happens a little to often. Otherwise very transparent.
Stuff.
I just wish people didn’t want everything more than I do.
Why bother
Seriously, what was wrong with the previous version? All you have managed to do is make it worse. What possesses you people to touch and tamper with something that isn’t broken? Whoever came up with this new version should be sacked !!
Need to improve
Trying to navigate the site is a pain. Pages jump and pages freeze Very annoying also it’s at times very slow.

I love it is the best
App is bad after latest update
Each and every time i search a car by brand or any product online i have to go and set my location. It used to be one time setting where i set it and forget it. Please fix this asap. This update feels horrible. Visually good looking but functionality is affected severely
Lots of lemons
So often grays is the place where people and caryards unload their fault riden cars and there is none of the consumer protection cooling off period etc.. there is the occasional bargain but beware avoid buying sight unseen
Grays Car Auction
This site is excellent. Easy to use, responsive and the reality matches the virtual. Easy to see the cars, staff are helpful. Well done Grays.
This new update is not good interface
According to previous interface, this is not a good interface
No working
I’m trying to register my card and my phone and doesn’t work. I downloaded the app and reinstalled it no working… is this just me? Is this working for Others?
Payment nethod
Just spent 10 mins going thru cycle to set up payment method- each time returning to place a bid - each time being referred to payment method - gave up - obviously im not smart enough to use this
Greys Online Auctions
Easy to use App, easy to register and bidding is easily viewed.
New version of this app is actually a downgrade.
Overall experience altering accidentally updating the version of this app was a huge mistake! Trying to find the 3.41 version to re download and delete this newer version because it is so disorganised to use and takes longer to navigate then the previous version. Under my bids - active section for example- every single bid that is usually sorted by ending soonest at the top (structured) - it is all scattered. So if you’re bidding on 100s of items, to check on one item you then have to go through every single item you’ve previously bid on. What a huge mistake that was updating the app - and I know that they’ll lose customers that way.
Easy and safe online app
I love graysonline
app upgrade
the new version for grays is a nightmare to use one has to keep searching and punching in location i will be happy if there is a way to get the previous version back for the first time i have looked at pickles lloyds thats just how impossible this new version is
Very Poor quality app, for poor quality items.
The latest update (07/2025) has made a non user friendly app even worse. Wrong items appear when selecting another. Items show up as closed but are still open. The search function doesn’t remember your previous preferences. I guess that’s what Grays.com are best at.
