A very enjoyable way to test your brain power, with no annoying timer. So many different types of word games- and so cheap if you want to avoid adverts.
Subscription needs updating
I’ve liked the games, but. My first unpleasant surprise came realizing after paying for my phone subscription, a new subscription needed to be bought for the game on my iPad. Now on a new phone the subscription has not migrated to my new phone and I don’t see a way to rectify this. Feels a bit like a rip off.

The storage it takes for all these games in one is astonishing. I love it, but the arrow cross game, if I type and answer it doesn’t tell me if it’s wrong or right, which is very useless and makes it difficult to play.

…..the childish coins overlay. There are many games…. and I haven’t played any of the crossword ones, having read the reviews saying they come complete with stupid clues, but never mind. The point here for me is that every game I’ve played has a crazy childish coins overlay to it. You get given coins for completing, coins for playing 10 minutes, and are charged coins for any of the various kinds of assistance requested. With Pic Quiz, this is insane, as the pics are so generic it’s impossible to guess the answer and assistance "costs" an absurd amount, dwarfing the coins awarded for completion. But that’s minor compared to just how stupid this overlay is in terms of how badly it gets in the way of a smooth user experience. For example, I’ve just completed a head scratching puzzle (I really like Word Jigsaw) and naturally expect to see the result, but no! Some stupid graphic takes over the screen to award me 50 coins. I don’t give a …. ! Just when I want to look at the result of all my hard work, Havos has decided that I want to look at a stupid and to be honest fairly meaningless graphic. There’s a "review" button to go back and look at it, but that isn’t the point. Havos! Stop treating your users as if they are all 3 years old! I downloaded this app because I love Codeword, another of Havos's. But that is standalone. No coins and no stupid graphics. So now I’ve shelled out A$14.99 for this one to be ad free but I never want to use it again. Instead, I want an ad free and coins free version of the stand alone version of Word Jigsaw, but that will cost me another $4.99. Not happy.

Why make the letters smaller?!
Long time user and subscriber, why have you made the hint buttons massive in word connect? The letters were already too small and crowded and now it’s even worse. Please fix ASAP, maximise the space for the letters.
Subjects?
Why can”t I choose which themed-question I want anymore? (Sports, Music, Geography, History…) That is a sad change for me.

Beaucoup de codes pays, codes devises,codes compagnies aériennes, codes langues, codes états us,références à des artistes, à de la musique et des anglicismes.Pour le reste définitions aléatoires et fausses ou mots inexistants dans le dictionnaire. Je joue depuis plus d’un an, ras le bol.

Lots of different puzzles, not too many ads. Good! One thing though, is there any way of moving to the next word on the puzzles without having to touch the puzzle? If there was small arrows at the bottom to move on to next word it would really help as I could just play with my thumbs instead of having to reach to the top with my finger every time.
Ads freezing!
I’m really fed up with this app the ads freeze regularly and the only way to continue is to turn my phone off and on which i find quite frustrating. I think I’m going to have to try another game sorry guys.

Much better than several other crosswords I’ve tried when it comes to clues, but it keeps freezing and crashing. Too frustrating - sorry but I’m deleting it for this reason.

What an amazing crossword app, the best I’ve seen. I started out downloading their straightforward crossword app then saw their suggestion to try this one. Wow, so many different puzzles and so far they’ve all used a sensible dictionary of words. Try it, you won’t be sorry.
Not good
Very slow uploads, limits what you can do, like zooming or asking you to watch more adds to get a hint...took me less than two games to hate, will uninstall
Great fun but.....
Great fun, simple design in relation to layout, how to answer, menu etc; but the only main issue I have are the penalties! To check if there are any wrong letters, +5 seconds PER wrong letter. Higher penalties for other infractions such as being given the answers. So a crossword that really took 4 min, can potentially show as 33 minutes, affecting any statistics that you may have been building towards. The adverts aren’t too bad and it’s my go to arrow crossword now.

The app keeps crashing, you have to have 2 to 3 attempts before it can open up. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it but not good. Apart from that it’s a very good app and keeps me busy for a good while.
Culturally backward
I want to be open-minded about this app, & perhaps I’m being overly sensitive, but: “Clue: Either as a wife or a hired servant… Answer: Housekeeper”. Been with this app for a while, tolerating its political leanings & persistent churchy, hierarchical & male-centric questions… but there’s GOT to be a more progressive crossword out there. It’s a shame, as otherwise this app is a joy to use.

Doesn’t work
A lot of the clues do not appear when you highlight the boxes, adverts are ridiculous in amount and it’s just a really badly made game. Looks like it came straight from the 80’s.
Arrow word love it
Nice change from solitaire 😊. Find the amount of adverts annoying there constant . Filling in your answers can be slow to enter . Seems to have a lot of Roman numeral questions . The questions on zip codes are not appropriate I'm from uk a lot of USA related places Questions and abbreviations But I do love playing this game ❤️👍🏻

This doesn’t work with iPhone 11. Half the top line is broken due to how the phone is made. Hope they can sort it its a good app.

This has to be the worst App ever. If you think the clues will help you solve the puzzle, think again. Sometimes the clue helps, sometimes just think of the first word that enters your head - word association sometimes works but for the majority of the answers the clue will leave you clueless!
Enjoyable
Well thought out, but some of the clues are just too esoteric. I am only doing the easy level, but occasionally the answers just don't make sense. I am enjoying it overall.

The idea is good, but the execution is terrible. Graphics are poor and the layout is childish. Needs better design to make it attractive and enjoyable to play.

So many of the clues are not good. It's not that it's hard; they just don't make sense in correlation to their answers. They're just so strained and scraping the bottom of the barrel for 'creative' clues.

Screen real estate taken up by annoying ads. Also protracted full screen ads, oh yes and somewhere in all the ads, a crossword puzzle!
Ok
Not a bad app, keeps me entertained. Some of the clues are a bit suspect and certain meanings of words don't actually correspond with the clue at all, which can be frustrating. Also I've turned off the foreign words clues in the settings, but still keep getting clues for cheese eating surrender monkey words. I don't speak french and never will, so if the app designers can sort that out it would be appreciated.
