Great app. Have always enjoyed playing Dingbats (even had it as a board game many years ago. Having it as an app is super. Having a problem with the Dangbits part of the app. I watch a video to get some hints - but no hints appear. This works fine on the Dingbats puzzles just not Dangbits - no matter how many videos I watch. Would be great if this could be fixed

The Dingbats a brilliant, the Anagrams are too hard
I love the Dingbats puzzles, and found the “Mr and Mrs” puzzles fun. The Anagram puzzles however were often far too hard. I’m good at anagrams but often the words they used were too long and really uncommon. Not words people ever use or have likely heard of before - heteroclites for example

Why a ad after every answer so annoying
Too bad
This is really a fun game. Too bad there are errors in the game, spelling errors and in the letters given to successfully solve all of the puzzles, that will keep me from being able to solve some of them. Such as I need an E and all that I’m left with is a D, of course, it won’t let me write the correct solution with that…. I play it in both French and English and I can see that there are issues with the French translation at time. That said, I am able to play it along with my family in France while in the US which makes this game rather unique and pretty awesome.

I have been playing this for a few months now. It took me a while to understand some of the games but now I am on a roll. It’s absolutely brilliant and gets the brain cells going. Keep it up and well done. It’s a shame it’s not available in landscape mode as this is my preferred way to play . I struggle in portrait.

Challenging it fun, but annoying bug!
This is a simple fun easy to pick up little game which requires some thought even on the easy levels. Adverts aren’t too Intrusive, although why you can’t just pay a small amount to get them removed I don’t know. Unfortunately this game is spoilt by a really frustrating habbit of erasing what you’ve just typed in if you accidentally swipe a little to one side, which is very easy to do when selecting letters. This is especially annoying for longer phrases and also means you can’t part fill in a clue then come back to it. Needs fixing!

Good Game
On dangbit puzzles after video to get hints you get no hints. I have not tried paying, maybe good job as they likely would take my money for nothing. I think developers should fully test before releasing updates. So very frustrating. Poor.
Tests the brain
Finish all 180 dangbits and enjoyed working out the answers. I love the “Steam Punk” images. Update: It’s now 12 th January 2026.only got about 30 dingbats/ dangbits to finish. So more levels please for both. It’s keeping my 75 year old brain active! Gave up on Mr&Mrs, sorry, it’s too silly.

Great game, one minor annoyance
It’s great, it’s dingbats (so far) so noting more to add there, and minimal ad interruptions, but it’s so easy to swipe the screen and move to the next puzzle and lose all the letters you’ve added in! I’ve done it several times now and it’s so frustrating! Just remove the ability to flick through puzzles, job done
Updated app does not open
4/19/22 Accepted update for app and now it does not open. Even deleted app and reinstalled. App still does not open. Very disappointed because this game was fun and challenging. Hope you can fix the glitch.
Rare phrases, expensive hints
My biggest complaint is you can’t solve part of the puzzle. You can know what some of the words are, but even if they’re in the right place, it’s not counted when you ask for a hint. So you can ask for either one or four random letters, only to have it reveal letters you already had in the right place. There is “reveal a specific letter”, but it’s double asking for one random, and half of getting 4, so… I don’t know if the app was just developed in a different country, but — even as an educated person — I’ve never heard of half of the sayings/phrases. Like “All cats are gray at night” or “Too clever by half”. Some are common adages, just using different words (eg “One brick short of a full load”), but there are too many different possibilities. Some, after I solve it, I can see what they were going for, but when it’s a completely foreign expression, the depiction has to be spot on to have a chance. I often end of solving it and still thinking, “What?? Did they make that up?” The basic game is fun, but it needs some fine tuning

Great game but sometimes some letters disappear and I have to restart the app.
Not quite right...
I think this is a French game with English translations that aren’t aways correct sayings. I’ve deleted it. Not for me.
Too much British
Lots of the answers are not American but British. I’ve learned a few things but I had to cheat to get the answers.

I have but one issue
Like other players I agree the puzzles are challenging and some tend to be more British in nature. What I don’t like is that you have no way of knowing if a word in the puzzle is correct until the puzzle is complete. Random letter clues don’t do enough to help me work through multi-word puzzle phrases. If this were to change I’d enjoy the app more. I’m almost ready to delete the app. To be challenged is good, being frustrated leads to unhappiness.
Please stop with ads you can’t skip
This game has always been a favourite but please just stop with ads. The skip button doesn’t respond most of the time so you have to watch some ad you’re not interested in, or the cross to close the app doesn’t respond so have to close the app.
Enjoyable
Fun and varied Dingbats, you can buy optionally cheap credits to help solution by revealing letters when you get stuck. The only minor quibble is that the entry field for solutions is a bit quirky, but nothing that would put you off

Love the game but purchased the No Ads and it still gives me ads. And I was charged for it.
Soundless
This a great game, but it is lacking somewhat in that there is no sound. Sound makes the game much more pleasurable and some sort of sound when you win keeps your interest and encourages you to keep playing. I would bump up my rating to 4 or 5 with the right sounds included.

Stupid app
This app totally copied Dingbats, yet it’s still way worse. It just tried to be Dingbats, but it failed. Miserably. If anyone wants a real game like this but better, download Dingbats. I have both apps and there are many. MANY. differences on quality, actual puzzles, and ads. The only thing I might like about this game is that there are not ads every two puzzles like Dingbats.

I have always been a massive fan of Dingbats and Anagrams this is perfect. Lots of puzzles just how I like it. Keep those puzzles coming.
Spoiled by second half! Not for kids and crap.
This comes with dingbats - great quality game - but when you complete that you are left with mr and Mrs game. Total garbage. Not for kids, not even clever, just crude and tasteless. Lacking in intelligence altogether - not like the dingbats with some simple and some tricky but all sensible and child friendly. Very disappointed.

OK but needs refining
The level 1 puzzles are quite easy but it’s still fun to waste a few minutes. The really annoying thing is it keeps swiping back to the previous puzzle when I’m trying to tap on the letters. When I go back to the puzzle I was on I have to start typing in the phrase from scratch again. Really frustrating if it happens to be a longer one.
A Perfect Way To Keep Your Brain Active!
I love dingbats. Some are quite easy to work out but then the next slips you a curve ball and you’re left scratching your head for ages without success. You then return several days later and you sense some idea of what it is, sometimes you’re right and sometimes you’re wrong but persevere and eventually you will work it out. I have played this app for several months and am still a long way from finishing all the dingbats. Remember folks, it’s not a race, it’s a way of keeping your brain active. I hope that the developer(s) can keep coming up with further dingbats as it has to be one of the best apps I have ever downloaded.

Got a new phone and cannot transfer the game over. S have to start from level one again. That is frustrating, cause most games I was able to log in and continue where I was at.
