Server Always Down
I made the mistake of subscribing and removing ads, and the server is virtually always unresponsive. It feels as if this app has been abandoned. However, using it with ads is so disruptive that it’s basically torture. When the app works, it is useful, and notifications seem to be active. However, unless the servers are repaired / upgraded, it is a waste of money and time.

It is nice to follow the conflicts taking place around the world live on the map. However, the application needs to gain more functionality.
Problem with subscription
Great information and great to be able to zoom into regions. However, the subscription doesn’t work. I bought it and I still can’t access all the premium features, it keeps asking me to subscribe even though I already subscribed. Hope they improve this feature. I’ll cancel my subscription for now.

Way to many ads
Ads pop up every 30 seconds while using the app. I understand you make money this way but it makes the app not worth using

This is a very good app, but it crashes so very much and is very slow!
Almost too buggy to use
Why is the app so bad? The website so janky? Fascinating that such a hot service can be so poor. I would probably check it much more often if it worked reliably.
Too slow - too much ads
I like the app but it’s too slow to load data and also too much ads.
Works with some effort
The map scroll/zoom only works if you access by clicking an event from the news timeline. Ads are annoying but short. Giving 5 stars to support as I’ve followed these guys’ work since the Syrian war and there are no similar services I’m aware of.
Terrible with ads
The app and the information it presents is fine, not complete, but fine. However, you have about 10 - 15 seconds of app usage before an ad pops up. Once it pops up, there is no way to close it; even after watching the whole ad. You must close the app completely and reopen it. Just terrible.
When it works, it’s great. Often doesn’t though
Your app is an amazing source of live updates regarding the Ukrainian-Russian War. Many interesting details about ongoing attacks and battles, and has a useful map to watch the progress of the Russian or Ukrainian military. My biggest problem : The app doesn’t load 50% of them time. The loading screen just loads and loads and loads until it tells me i have no internet and then shows me a commercial. It’s been almost a day i can’t get any more information. The browser website updates itself but it’s a mess on mobile devices. Please fix it soon.

This app has potential to be a simple way for ordinary people to stay updated on global conflicts. However, the primary source of information for the app is Twitter/X, which is no longer a safe site for credibility. I have to second guess and question most headlines and reports I see simply because they are from a site that has lost the ability to be trusted. Please find a new source of news if you want to maintain your own credibility. As of now, it’s simply a map of Twitter headlines.
Premium doesn’t work
I paid for premium but it still shows me ads and tells me to buy premium. Seriously?
Pretty Good App - Some bugs and some ads
The app is good for the most part, but there are some map bugs. For example, sometimes you get stuck on a zoomed in portion. Reloading the app fixes it fine, though. Recent updates have really improved the map. Before, I could only see Russian advance, but now I can see Ukrainian counteroffensive too. The only other problem is ads. They are a bit annoying. You just have to wait them out. There come around often but not often enough to be a nuisance. I would have preferred border ads. Kills the aesthetic, but much less annoying. The Wikipedia approach of asking for donations would be ideal but, given the small user base, that may be impossible. Overall, still would recommend.
Ads make the map dysfunctional
The ads are obstructive. I paid for a one month subscription to remove them, and the ads are still there even though the payment went through. This used to be a great app. Disappointing to say the least.

Great app with no bias against anybody
An app that explains exactly what is happening in different conflict ridden places around the world. I saw someone that said that it has bias against Russia made me laugh. This app as far as I can see does not have any bias. It merely stating the facts. The Russian regime has been bombarding and killing innocent Syrians who only wanted their freedom from oppression mainly the majority Sunni population. Anyway, it is a good app. It links to social media for events. They seem to check social media for authenticity so sometimes you find them saying that a post or a video is fake. It shows also epidemics. It shows also political events not necessarily wars or conflicts. Totally recommend it for people who want to follow things as they evolve on the ground! Great tool for political science students!
False information and fraud
This App has been critically siding with the syrian and turkish governments, I Recommend double checking every news that comes from this app as it may be biased especially in the syrian region. Bery biased!
Doesn’t allow me scroll across the map
What I mean is that nothing happens when you touch the map. It only works once in awhile when I refresh the app but right after it stops especially when I leave the map.

Having a geo map based news feed is a fantastic idea-but this app is buggy. I’d subscribe to it if they fixed it. I’d pay to get Rid of ads. The map scroll is unreliable, but great concept and the developer needs to fix it.

The easies way to track global events
Cancelled my subscription after over a year.
I’ve had a subscription for well over a year. Lately I’ve been getting ads that are impossible to close on the app. Why pay for something that I can’t use? The random ads make it unusable. Considering I pay for it? I’m not sure why I have to deal with adjacking anyway.
Notifications don’t work
Amazing app but for me at least notifications don’t work in the Syria map.

Liveuamap has fallen
I’ve used Liveuamap since 2018. For the first few years it was good, then near the start of the Ukraine war, it went to garbage. The information started to become less and less accurate, with most of the information being from state media on twitter. Sometimes they will report that ‘Ukraine has repelled an attack’ in areas that Ukraine hasn’t controlled for days, as evident by Ukrainian sourced videos with geolocation! I would recommend laying off of the state run media and maybe broaden your horizons and pay more attention to sources in the ground/geolocate things for yourself. The ads became a thing; I understand, company has to make money. But the ads have become quite frequent, and I would pay a one time fee to get rid of them but subscription is absolutely ridiculous for the quality of this app. Lastly, the map has had issues for a long time, issues with zooming out not working, and the colors showing territorial control being messed up.
Great app, but its bios is bad.
It has so much bios against russia and etc.... But i can easily ignore, with that in mind app is great!
Full of Ad’s
You subscribe and pay £1.79/month for add free subscription and you still see the adds. Subscribers beware. Also do not click on the link bottom left of the map, named “leaflet” it takes you to a donation page, and you cannot get back to live maps. Developers need to be more open and transparent about the website not easy to navigate for english readers.
Good Information, Bad App
The information provided is good/up to date with what is going on. I liked the different tags/labels. However, the app is pretty buggy and not user friendly. It often freezes, forcing me to close the app in order for it to work again. It is also very slow sometimes. The ad at the bottom covers a button, so I cannot see what it says nor click on it. If these issues were fixed, I would gladly give it a five star review.
Excellent
A really excellent app, very well put together. Ideal for keeping up with the situation in Donbass. The website can be be q bit clunky on phones and some browsers so the app is great. Good work.
Waste of time
It has 200 ads in 2 minutes which never let you watch news. There are couple red maps and gun signs on the map, so not sure what it’s about, ads not allowing me to watch.
Cool but not perfect
Super cool app at keeping people informed about what's happening on the ground in Syria Unfortunately this app doesn't work well for iPads. You cannot rotate Into landscape mode. The interface is too large, this makes it impossible to change to satellite mode. And it does continue to crash from time to time. Other than these issues I find it a super useful app. Maybe in your next update you Do something for the iPad users.
Important tool for WW3
This is a really cool app and the idea is really great. But the app is so unbearable to use because it never refreshes, and ads pop up every 40 seconds. Not to mention you will be notified of news then click to read the full thing and it’s will not load

The app is absolutely brilliant, it shows what is going on in a region or a single country however, the app doesn’t always load and have restart it fails to launch.
