Documents: PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, text files and images. Preview first, then print

Text: type or paste anything and print it

Copies: scan a page with your camera and print it, like a copier in your pocket

Your scans: open any scanned document and tap the printer icon

FINDS YOUR PRINTER AUTOMATICALLY

Open the app and it searches your Wi-Fi network and shows your printer by name, ready to print. Printer not showing up? Step-by-step help covers Wi-Fi, USB-cable and office-network setups.

YOUR PRINTER AT A GLANCE

Check ink or toner levels and paper, see alerts such as a paper jam or an open cover, and follow your print job until it is done. Available on printers that report their status.

WORKS WITH

AirPrint printers on the same Wi-Fi network as your iPhone or iPad. A printer that only has a USB cable can still be shared from a Mac or Windows PC — the in-app help shows how.

ALSO A SCANNER

Scan paper to PDF or JPG with automatic edge detection, extract text (OCR), sign documents, use PDF tools such as merge and compress, and scan QR codes.

FREE AND PRO

Scanning documents and QR codes and reading files are free. Printing, sharing and exporting, text recognition and printer status are part of PRO, with a free trial for new subscribers. PRO also removes ads.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Your documents stay on your device and in your own iCloud. We never upload them to our servers. The app looks for printers only on your local network.
