It is so terrible that you can only control with tilt ,even though you get used to it and that you can't play any mode other than training unless you are a supporter except multiplayer.
What they need to fix
Can you make a option where you can use a joystick bc it’s more easy to turn and pull up and also why are the planes so hard to aim and the p51 does anything like real life one shot and there dead plus add more planes but I do like it so got to give it a solid 4

Good but unrealistic
It’s not very realistic, I don’t know if that was the goal but overall it’s a very great game. I just wish it wasn’t unrealistic. For example; a P51D shouldn’t be able to outrun a spitfire, since it’s lighter. I just wish the mechanics in game weren’t weird but overall great game.

I bought some Gold to pay for the aircraft I wanted. No gold came. Apple won’t refund. Customer service doesn’t exist. It’s a shame because the game fun sometimes… yet unrealistic other times. Multiplayer is not so much fun. Impossible to enjoy when every other aircraft can turn on a dime and shoot you down. Ludicrous. I do not recommend this game. Could be great but sadly isn’t.

I have played this game for many years and I lost all my progress and it won’t let me update it and I don’t know what to do I am very sad I also had a ton of planes I worked really hard for all in vain so whoever plays this game and are taking this into mind consider they might rip you off.

Almost There
Fun, Great Graphics/Details and Overall Gameplay. Personally, I’m still awaiting Game Controller/Stick Support (iOS/MacOS, Android, PC, etc), but due to Phanotek’s focus on development of their newest Jet-Simulator, I doubt it coming to fruition. GSWW2 is still fun.

I’ve played this game pretty much since its conception and I have it on Meta Quest, the graphics are pretty good, and it’s a super awesome game except for these things: •Terrible XP system It is INCREDIBLY hard to progress for free, you either have to buy XP or play nonstop for years to get other planes besides the included ones. •Kind of outdated UI Some of the training missions haven’t been updated since it was still called wings of duty, also some small grammatical errors in the text. •Training missions won’t award XP currently. •Needs a control rework. The controls look outdated and are hard to use, especially when competing with VR players. Fix these things, advertise a little better and you could have a ton of new players!

I love the game, it’s really fun and once you get the hangover controls really easy. But some aircraft are just absolutely overpowered. Most axis fighters, specifically Japanese land based types, seem to be able to hit speed of over 600 mph. Which I’m guessing is not realistic. Also, I feel like weapons on some aircraft need to be Nerfed a little also. I keep getting one shotted by Japanese planes, even if I’m in a well armored bomber. Axis planes. I don’t need a nerve for Allied planes need upgrades.

But then there was just something about loading into the game and hearing that music, it hit different. Please fix and change back to the old one so I can get nostalgia. The game is really a five star, but I’m giving it a three because of the music change. I’ll change it back to five if you guys fix it.
Phenomenal WWII Air games (but I would like added in future updates.)
Absolutely Phenomenal World War 2 air combat games, much better than any other World War 2 Based Air combat game I have played in my life so far. Several things I would like to be added to this are as follows: 1. So far there is only 1 Campaign Session which is located for Hamburg, Germany. However, maybe 3 other campaigns would be (no offense to anyone), Sinking the Yamato, Sinking Battleship Bismarck, perhaps attack of Pearl Harbor, and Battle of Britain. 2. additional aircraft would be United States: SB2C Hell Diver Douglas TBD Devastator Torpedo Bomber (USS Hornets) Version of B-25 Medium Bombers Japan: N1K Shiden (George) Fighter Aichi D3A (Val) Dive Bomber Kyushu J7W1 (Shinden) Britain (United Kingdom): Fairey Swordfish BiPlane As for surface targets to take down or to protect, I was wondering if Yamato and the Japanese Center Task force of Leyte Gulf could be added as another campaign. One last thing is to add a set up where if you doing single player, perhaps an AI operated squadron or wingman could stay with you.
Too hard to fly on mobile
I kinda find it hard to fly on mobile since I just started. Can you please make it a bit easier to fly on mobile? Same for aerial gunnery,I turn my device the way I want to go,few moments later,voila! the guns just turned the opposite way!
loved this game as a kid
as a kid i always loved planes and this game rly satisfied it, the dogfights and historical battles. its js that i wish more things were xp buy and the ads for gold should give u more gold and i kinda dont like how they added cooldown for it too. like i used to have everything and every plane in all tech trees but it got deleted

Empty and competitive
I downloaded this to find some fun dogfighting games and this caught my eye, I thought this was going to be a normal mobile game but this is a very difficult and competitive game, there’s no basic VS AI mode that’s free, and the only normal match for beginners is full of a lot of people who play this daily

What is going on?
The devs of this game seem to have given up. I have been a devout player for many years, but the lack of attention given to the game over the past 18 months or so is extremely off putting. I get they want to work on their VR game, but I can assure you now it’s for a market that has interest elsewhere. I would like to see the care that was once given to this game be returned.

Only reason I give this app a four star is because the new music is very low quality and the old lobby. Music is much better please change lobby music.

Why do I need a subscription just to do campaigns? Or a subscription to get premium planes? This ‘supporter’ subscription is outrageous ! However though, the game is pretty good and 5 stars if it wasn’t for the subscription you have to do .

Possibly change the tilt steering for aircraft?
It would be nice to see a joystick for mobile. the original tilt steering glitches sometimes and puts me into drifting to the right or left it’s also very hard to get your shots lined up for that reason.

Mid Game
I really like the historical aspect but whenever I join a dogfight my jet keeps on spinning it is quite hard to control… otherwise it would a grate game with pretty good graphics ✌️. However, if you were to get into jet games I love the free option of AllianceAirWar completely free all modes without subscriptions

Developer appears to have abandoned the app
Despite showing as compatible to my devices, it is clear that the game is not being kept up to date, and that Phanotek support team are ignoring many players who are having issues with getting the game to work, players who are experiencing problems with settings being retained and game scores not being registered, regular game crashes and absolutely no dialogue from Phanotek staff to their fan base. I would no longer recommend this game to anyone.
Amazing except the tanks
Love the game. It’s hard, but in a fun way. The plane battles are AMAZING! But NOBODY plays tanks. No one at all. Could you add com tanks? So people can actually fight with the tanks.
