I love it
I love this app when I was younger I used it to text my cousin who was older than me when I found out the app was shutting down I carted my cousin had a phone and had a ipad at the time and I couldn’t text but now I am bigger and have a phone now we can text I am soo happy the app opened back up I will get it for my kid and it save.

Too many ads
I used to love this. Now there’s an add pop-up EVERY TIME I press send! I know ads are what pay you and all that, but I can’t deal with it every time. I think I’m gonna say goodbye :-(

On my phone when you try to sing in and the thing pops up you can’t get out of it when you enter and leave I will just pop up again!!!!!! I thought this app would be a little more better programmed

I use it for me and my friend and it’s a great way to keep in touch if you don’t have the same brand phone or phone at all. I’m really glad it’s back now and I hope it can stay.
So many problems!
Okay I’m actually very mad right now! My account got deleted twice for no reason. And this seems like every time I make a new one I get some message saying from Freddy security saying: “Not cool! Fix this or your account may be blocked!” Why don’t u tell the person what u did like??? It frustrates me so much and I use this to contact people. Just delete my account? What in the world?!
Great app for younger kids
Wonderful app for younger kids to keep in contact with parents grand parents or other family members!! We all love it n enjoy it.
Not the safest
I honestly thought this app was “family friendly” but when a person types a bad word they tell them not to but they have an option to let them which is ridiculous please fix this and I’ll rate this a 5 but after all this is a fun app. Please fix calling glitches :)

I had been using Monster Messenger ever sense I have had a phone and am so glad that it is back. I am 13 and still lovin’ Monster Messenger! It is basically like the safest social media around for kids! You can chat with your friends and even call them and video chat with them if you have enough video credits. My only criticism is that I honestly don’t think it needs all the YouTube channels on there. Sometimes, if I accidentally click on something while watching those, I find myself in one of those bottomless pits of videos that I honestly don’t ever wanna watch. The other thing is that it would be nice if there was a way that we could use message game apps that we have downloaded on our devices on Monster Messenger. If I could make sure that one app had an add for the Super-Bowl, it would always be Monster Messenger!!!

This is a perfect messaging app just for kids, but you probably need to add more schools that are from England. I’m from England and my school isn’t there, please add more? That would be fantastic!

Amazing app!
I really love this app, I’ve been searching for some kind of app that is kid friendly and I came across this one. Once I spread the word to some of my friends in class about this app, pretty much the whole grade knew about it! We all can video call each other which is the coolest thing I found about Monster Messenger. The problem is, it says it’s 4+ however on the app when you have to register, you need to be over 13 which is weird since I expected this to be in use for even 4 year olds as said by the app itself ‘4+’. Other than that, I recommend this app to all kids! Especially when kids want to text bad things, the app will prevent everyone from doing that as-well as your parents having access to your account, so you won’t need to worry about a thing.

This is suppose to be a safe app. And it was until said guy found my email and started texting me weird stuff.
Good for our blended family
We get to talk to our kiddos wherever they are. My only complaint is how often there are updates. It seems like every time I login I have to update first. And I no longer receive notifications a child has messaged me. :/ great at first but it seems like the more “improvements” that are made the less improved it gets!

Good, but needs improving
MM opened the door for me being comfortable letting my daughter begin to message friends. We’ve used the app for about a year. What was most helpful was my control as a parent. But over the last year my comfort and control are slipping. This morning my daughter reported 4 drawn images to the developer she felt were inappropriate. The disturbing part was my daughter isn’t “friends” with the person who created the images. How can she even see these?? She showed me they showed up in a BOT feed. Then, again this morning while perusing the app I watched a couple of videos. One of the videos was a man’s strange testimony about talking with some gangster called Pimp C who gave him relationship advice? And toward the end the guy drops a profane word (s__t). Seriously, totally inappropriate. C’mon Monster, get your act together and be what you advertise. I’m close to dropping you, one more strike and you’re out. The biggest feature your app needs is parental control over EVERYTHING. I want to be able to disable videos, video chat, etc,...whatever I feel is inappropriate and unsafe for my kid.
Why I love this app
I wanted an app so I could text my neighbor ( boyfriend).
Disappointed
I’m looking for a safe app so my daughter can talk exclusively with her family and friends. I thought I found a cool one here. When I checked video calls and realised my kid will have to watch “kid friendly videos” so she’s able to earn video credits to make a call so I deleted straight away. How annoying is that! I understand it comes at a cost, so I would pay for the app if that’s the case, but definitely not interested in making my daughter be obliged to watch adds so she can call her friend. Ridiculous. Poor choice from the developers.
I love it!
This app is really nice! I love texting my friends and family! I always play this app and I really would download it if I were you! I definitely recommend this app if one of your friends is leaving and you would still like to talk to them somehow. All the other apps I have tried have failed when I tried to sign up. Finally I found the perfect one which is also safe and for kids. Thx for making this! It’s one of my favorite apps! Though the only thing which is wrong is that there was this stranger who was called Vinsa Piran or something and I didn’t know who she is. She messaged me and asked me where I live..... I immediately blocked her. Maybe not to safe but i still love this app!

Monster messaged is amazing
I love monster messenger because some of my friends don’t have phone numbers or emails so I can’t text them because they live in Dubai and I miss them a lot so on monster messaged it means that I can text them wherever they are. And I don’t have to wait every summer for them to tell me what they have been doing through the year. Like if they are upset they can text me or if they are board we can chat or if they has something good to tell me. It is great thanks monster messaged for making that easier for me.
Okay but the video call audio is bad
I love being able to communicate with my family on this but the video call always seems to have loud white static noise and it’s so loud you can’t hear the other person unless their mouth is right on the mic. Other than that, I like the app.

I always keep in contact with my cousins so they don’t miss me. I feel like it is a great way to keep talking to your family members when you miss them. Such a great app and helpful.

Cette application et bien pour les enfants et parent mais pour mes enfant de 8 et 12 ans c’est bien pour mon petit il peu parler avec ses amis mes sinon pour ma grande ce n’est plus de sont âge Bien pour les petit de 3 à 10 ans peut-être que nul est un peut sévère mais pour moi ce n’est pas approprié pour les enfants après pour quelque personnes c’est bien pour moi je n’aime pas et aussi je ne m’appelle pas Emma

I love monster messenger but I wish you didn’t have to have WiFi to talk to someone else and I’m a VIK and I don’t win prizes and I wish I did so can you plz send out more prizes also I have a question about the prizes... If you win do you have to pay for the prize or is it free? Overall it is a great app!!!
