Do not use Maya if you are overseas. Awful customer service
Update: It is August and the ticket is still unresolved. I created a new ticket for follow up both tickets were closed without resolution. This is a scammy digital bank that is a digital wallet but unreliable credit card or savings bank. DO NOT PUT YOUR MONEY IN MAYA SAVINGS OR USE THEIR CREDIT CARDS!! DO NOT GET TEMPTED BY THEIR HIGH INTEREST RATES FOR SAVINGS!! DO NOT TRUST MAYA. THEY INVEST IN CELEBRITY ENDORSERS THAN PROTECTING THEIR CUSTOMERS! *If it is too good to be true, then it is* I have an open request for fee waiver that was opened last February 15th. Over a month after the ticket is still in In progress status. No change in status. I even have to make a phone call from overseas to open the ticket because their A.I. support i very limited. Do not open Maya account if you reside overseas!

Good App but frequently harassed
App was great for banking. But not so much when borrowing. Their agents call you non-stop when your due date is near. So annoying. Will call you anytime of the day.

Security Measure Inaccurate
Using Maya version 2.110.2 on iOS 18.6.1. Despite following the instructions in the “Need help?” section, I’m still unable to log in. I keep receiving the error: “As a security measure, we are unable to proceed with this transaction.” This issue started suddenly and persists without any clear explanation or resolution.

A Frustrating Customer Service Experience
My experience with Maya Bank has been incredibly frustrating, primarily due to their abysmal customer service and ongoing issues with card delivery. I ordered and paid for my physical card on July 25, 2023, and as of today, I still hadn't received it. The delay is unacceptable, especially when coupled with their unresponsive support channels. I initially reached out on August 5, 2023, to report a failed delivery and provided detailed instructions along with a contact number for the courier. Despite this, I received a generic request for information that I had already provided. This indicated a clear lack of attention to detail and a failure to review past communications. The subsequent weeks were a continuous loop of disappointment as I tried contacting their support multiple times: * Call Center Hotline: I waited for over 30 minutes on several occasions during office hours, with no success in reaching an agent. * Chatbot: The chatbot proved to be completely useless, offering only predefined responses and no option to connect with a live representative. * Email Support: This was arguably the worst channel. My repeated follow-ups on August 9, August 11, and August 19 went unanswered. It took 15 days from my initial email for any semblance of a response, and even then, it was just the initial request for details I'd already given. The lack of communication and resolution is shocking for a digital bank. When a customer has to threaten to report the bank to the BSP (Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas) just to get a response, it clearly indicates a severe breakdown in their customer support system. Overall, my experience with Maya Bank has been overwhelmingly negative. While the convenience of a digital bank is appealing, it's completely undermined by their inability to deliver basic services like card delivery and responsive customer support. Until Maya Bank significantly improves its customer service infrastructure, I recommend avoiding Maya and instead considering GoTyme, a truly digital bank with superb customer service.

failed to pay my bills as it always say i entered the wrong account name although I entered the correct details. Maybe only good for NCR but the rest of the regions? meh

After paying bills, the biller was not added to the list of My Favorites. No way to save the biller info for next billing. Very inconvenient.

I’ve been trying to register to upgrade my account as I need to transfer the amount to my gcash. Apparently, for 5days I can’t even get notif if it was already registered. Worst, been trying to reach out to your customer service but it was auto-reply by chabot! C’mon guys, you need to improved!
