I really love this app
It’s much easier to read my texts on the iPad than using the web site. Scrolling is more natural. Since I tend to read for a least an hour at a time, it’s nice to be comfortable and not need the laptop. The fact that I can download the text for offline reading is a huge bonus! It also means that if the website is ever unavailable, I can still read. The bookmarks and progress are saved in the cloud, just like Kindle, so when you switch to the app, you don’t lose anything.

Dark/ Night Mode?
How do I use DARK/ NIGHT MODE for reading my books? The white background feels too bright at times. Thank you
Poor search results
When searching for a word, the app brings you to the beginning of the chapter rather than going to the exact location on the page where the word is located.
Can not highlight on iOS
I have tried everything and I can not highlight the words in the textbook.

Very intuitive and user friendly. Textbook graphs and pictures look very nice in the app.
Highlight text option
It’s an amazing app, but just because the option to highlight doesn’t work I give it a 1*. It looks like there’s no plan to fix it any time soon.. I mean last update was 2 years go which is really frustrating.
Great app! But..
Love the app! Have it on my laptop as well.. but the read aloud feature isn’t working properly. It starts reading the text from the very beginning and doesn’t let you decide where to start reading from. The laptop top app does though. I think this feature will be an amazing tool students can utilize! Please fix and update 🙏🏼
Unresponsive app
After last update i am not able to use this app fluently. Highlights and word search options are glitching up and down!!!! You have made this app worse and now i am losing my interest in this app. Learn some features from kindle. User friendly app.

This app is actually really useful I don’t know why it only had two stars. Having my textbooks in my pocket is so convenient. App is clean and smooth. Text scales to your screen perfectly.
Still can’t highlight and write notes on iPad in 2025
Such waste that I can't even highlight or write notes through my iPad. I'm so looking forward to studying on the go but seems like this ain’t gonna work

Horrible text to speech
What is with the text to speech? 1.It will only read the text shown in the screen of my phone and tablet but will not read the following text. 2.Scrolling down will reset the reader starting to re-read from the top down. 3. I can not close the app and listen to the text on my commute to/from school 4. Every time I try to copy part of the text I have to get ride of the reference text added by the program
Text books won't open on iPad
I can't open any of my books on the iPad. My iPhone opens them just fine.
Please fix the highlight and notes functions
They are like half the point of the app! Otherwise it’s just a basic e-reader.

Cannot use highlight option on ipad. 2 years since the last update was made on this app no wonder it’s almost pretty much useless. For a textbook app geared towards student, having a fully functional app that can highlight should be the bare minimum. Would give 0 stars if I could.
App not kept up to date
The eTexts provided by our school uses this app, but the developers abandoned it. They don’t update the app (last was 2yrs ago), hence it’s not optimised to function smoothly when there’s a new iPadOS update. Some features can’t be utilised anymore. We’ll ask the school to switch to a different reader app. Texidium has become pretty much useless. It’s frustrating.
please add more edtiton option！
I use one book for several courses, so I need to “bookmark” separate different chapters for each courses , but the bookmark icon can only marked on that page without any comments on it！its hard for students to remember which chapter is for which course!
