Great app! Everything appears to work the way it should now.
ADS ADS ADS ADS !!!!!!
I tried to restore my ad free account, and it will not let me login. I keep trying to get a code , and the including code just keeps not taking ,so yes this app sucks. I’m trying to read my Bible,Not look at ADS!!
Ads
Are you kidding me This has ads and I don’t want ads!😡
Not quite what I needed
Was unable to copy more than one verse at a time. Also, the verses lost their beginning number when I copied, therefore I will have to delete the app.
Bible or ad to make money
I was enjoying this app. But it is becoming difficult to use.. due to the ads , if this is how you intended to continue this app… trying to force people to pay, then I will be out
Almost perfect
Almost perfect. Love that each verse is in its own box. Love how easy it is to jump between chapters and verses. Highlight function works perfectly. Have the option to share verses with others. Love this app. Only two faults I find is when you get to the bottom of a chapter and after you mark the “chapter read” and then you click the arrow to go to the next chapter it does not take you to the top of the new chapter and you have scroll to the top of the chapter. And, Wish I could find out how to take notes in this.
Ads
Way too many ads that interrupt when you are trying to listen to the bible.
THE BEST
This app is SOO GOOD I wouldn’t change anything. Ps: I highly recommend this app
Update
I use this app regularly when I don’t have my Bible with me and after the update it won’t even open anymore. I get the first screen and then it automatically closes.
Grammatical errors
I wanted to like this app but there are too many grammatical errors in it. No spaces between some words and punctuation where there shouldn’t be which makes it hard for me to read
Love Everything About This App
It’s easy to use to study and share with other people. Clear and concise and very easy to read. Thank you.
How to work this app not obvious
I can only start with Genesis 1 if I want to read scripture in this app. If there is a way to pick a book off my choice, I’d love to hear it.
Well Documente
It gives basic understanding and easy interpretation
Ads and Typos
Ads on the bottom of the page are distracting and prevent you from seeing the scriptures at the bottom of the page. Also-way too many typos!
Audio Discrepancy
The MP3 file recordings does not match up with the scriptures
Perfect
I get a verse every single day with perfect and easy to read English, I just love it
Great Layout But Crashes
Books disappear with only page numbers available to see. Had issues with not being able to get out of ads also. Hopefully the issues will be resolved as I enjoy the app when it works.
My review
I love that it is all the same for the actual esv bible. I tryed a app before this and they were cutting out verses and I thought that was wrong. So I deleted the app and found you. Thanks!!
B. Alexander
Have iPhone 5 and am unable to access the book of Revelation due to the ADS at that part of the screen. Please fix it!
Decent
It's offline and has a challenging trivia game, but the verses scroll funny and there are a lot of grammar problems because of the way the verses begin and end.
Love it
Thanks for sharing the gospel
Not people friendly
No longer easy to use
The words runtogether. Really bothersome
I like the ability to mark each chapter as read. I am really aggravated by the words running together.
ms
I purchased this app based on other reviews...what I Don't like about it is the ad at the bottom of the page. Really, was it necessary to place an ad in this bible app! it's very distracting!
Very Good App
very easy to read and easy to understand. Thank you Lord 👏
Better bibles out there
This bible has so many typo errors, its annoying. Words are written together with no spaces through this bible. As you start to read, an option for a daily bible verse pops up. When you go to the next verse an ad comes on. Way to distracting Went to the blue letter bible and way better than this app.
Most Excellent
I have really appreciated this e-Bible. Particularly handy when traveling. I do get seriously annoyed with the advertisements and would like to block them!
Mr
The text is there and it is offline, but the app moves around which distracts reading.
The Best ESV Bible app for free
I rate this FREE Bible app as a 5 star. This Bible app has helped me grow in my faith and my knowledge of the Bible. This app has very unique features. From Bible quizzes, to audio Bibles, to notes, and more. I highly recommend it for any person. From The Church of Christ.
It’s harder to scroll through the different books
The last version was more user friendly.
Good but glitchy
I love the ESV version & I like this app. I love that it can be used offline but I don’t like the mistakes it makes. When I use the word search feature it often mistakenly lists an OT verse as showing in the NT and vica versa. Word search is very important to me so that’s a big drawback but I still gave it 4 stars because it’s free & useful otherwise.
Great offline bible
Taking into consideration that everyone has an opinion on each version of the bible, I think the esv is a clear and readable version. As much as everyone uses their phones it just makes sense to have good version of the bible with you.
No longer accessible
Got this app about 3 weeks ago and was very pleased with it. Now 093019 the app will not open. I see there was some kind of update, the icon has changed, but nothing else works. Disappointing.
Best Bible app!
I know many people love their bibles and I truly understand, but for me, the ease of having an app on my iPad/iPhone has made reading and studying so easy and convenient as I always have those available during unexpected wait times. I have downloaded many apps and think I've found the best free one so I thought I would share. This is a great bible app and it has the ESV version but you can flip between other versions at the same time. You can change the color, size and style of the font to make it easier to read as well as even have it read to you! A few other perks include a word /verse search, a notebook, calendar, dictionary, reading plans, a quiz, and many others. There may be other app's out there that are better, but I'm sticking with this one!
Ads in the way
If you fix the inability to select Revelations because it’s hidden behind an ad, I’d rate this higher. There are also way too many words without spaces between them. I can still read it but my kids struggle.
The perfect Bible app
This is what I always wanted! The little things matter to me: you have your pick of fonts, background colour, font size and font colour.
