Great game but
Okay this game takes you back in time and starts in the early jet age i love every aspect of the game except the stop overs why does the total distance have to be 13 thousand kilometers why can’t we you multiple connections and it can be any distance like my 737–200 literally fell short just by 70 kilometers and now I have to sell and rebuy so the route i wanted to open was a route from Toronto to San Francisco but like I said my plane fell short just by 70 kilometers so I said i wish we could do stop overs so I could stop at Dallas and finish the flight thats all really great game so thanks.
Bad
The landing simulation is so picky, that I land perfectly, and then it says I failed.

Great but one problem, why can you crash fro landing to slow? And also why are the planes that u land with are always a Boeing 707? Can u add diffrent aircraft and make planes at the airport too?
Vulgar players, not safe for children
I was introduced to this game by a surgeon before having an extensive procedure and recovery. To help keep my mind occupied I enjoyed three games and on the fourth game I encountered a racist, vulgar despicable. Stalker that posts open messages to all with curse words and no care at all as to the +4 recommended age for the game. I wouldn’t let an 18-year-old read these messages that are blasted out at the beginning of each turn for everyone to read and the developers do nothing to stop it. I would hope that the developers can implement a mute button so that you do not have to read messages that are so vulgar and so over the top that it takes a good game and makes it impossible to play. Having to wait a month to receive a response from the game developers is despicable. This game would’ve received the maximum number of stars, however when you allow players that break the rules and treat paying players like garbage and much much worse, two stars is being kind.

Awesome Game, keep updating it!
I have played this game for years now and it’s just amazing and always fun to play and complete with other real world players! Easy to get the hang off but you really have to be on the game to be good! I do ask the developers to not forget this game though as this is better than ATO3. I encourage the developers to keep updating it and add more planes, cities and extent the time as this game only goes to 2020!

Get this game instead of AT 3 4 or 5
This game is way better than All the other air tycoons cause of its cool features like having multiple hubs that’s pretty much impossible in air tycoon 3 4 5 etc and this game you can land your plane but this game has some issues to like poor graphics and not realistic with airplanes and I get that cause this game is old but still is way better than at 4 5 etc get this game🛬🛫✈️💺🛩🚁
Harassment and threats
This used to be a good game, but admins have increasingly allowed abusive players to harass others for the simple act of competing in a game that is about competition. I am currently being threatened and harassed by a player called Great China in channel 114 - please drop by to see for yourself. He threatened to kill me, and I raised this to the developed, but they ignored the complaint and deleted my message...
Love but a couple flaws
Love this game! But more times than once, the game has deleted an unused aircraft from my inventory! It will glitch out and show a pop up that says plane is not available even when I havent assigned that plane yet! Also, when opening up the game and holding my phone the other landscape position, the game opens up with half of the game on/off the screen. This can be fixed by closing and reopening the game. I really hope the developers can offer me some of my planes back especially since Ive already spent $50 on this game

I need bigger airports then that because by the end of 1963 JFK and LAX have both upgraded to max and are full. And nobody has the money to make another airport. Just make it so there can be like a 5000 slot airport. I would also enjoy have more planes like the sassily Mercure or the topolev 144.

This game is good..... but sometimes, really bad
I tried this game, but no realistic things (low quality), not a lot of aircrafts.... like they had first class in the 1906’s too. Like... it had so planes in the old 1960’s too. They have to learn about the airplane models good, too. Because i know a lot about these airplane models. THERE WAS b737-100 ON 1960’S TOO. I recommend trying the airline commander simulator. Because it is more higher quality game and planes are modern and popular. Or try the air tycoon 3! Thx!

This game is pretty great, not going to lie. But the game is complicated in a way, and the tutorial is not exactly clear, and does not explain on how the finance works.

Scam
I’m pretty sure that the developers are playing as well. I’ve matched and beaten most routes of competition and they still gain rev larger than mine. The only way to beat them is to purchase credits. Stay away.

It was an ordinary day playing the game I ordered 2 727-100 which cost 53k each but when it was done the planes didn’t go into my inventory and I wasted a whole 103k worth of money

Okay, but there are better
Okay and sorta fun but unrealistic. One route per plane. No indication of demand for a route before committing. No loan facility so if you go into debt you’re basically finished. No way to freeze time if you are away for a while. I prefer Airlines Manager although there are aspects to this game they could learn from, eg slots, fuel depots, etc.
Best Airline Manager Period.
I have played Air Tycoon Online 2 (ATO2) for over a year and I have had endless fun and enjoyment in the game. You basically get to control nearly every aspect of the airline experience, from livery, to seating arrangement, to airports and staff, and all the way up to investments. Various scenarios occur with both positive and negative effects, causing you to be on your feet. Although I have a big gripe with the way that the leveling system works, that being that the higher your level, the longer it takes to order and request slots for your aircraft. At the highest level, level 5, you must wait 10 mins for slots and 20 mins for planes. It really drags on the experience of the whole game. Had they implemented something in between ATO4’s instant requests and the epically long waiting game of ATO2, maybe something akin to a perpetual level 3, I would not have this gripe, but hey, they must make their money somehow. And this is more than reasonable in my mind, as there are no ads and you can succeed in the game without spending a single dime. Overall, this is the greatest free to play game I have ever owned on mobile and certainly one of the best airline manager games I have ever played.
Awful don’t bother
They run bots against you to ensure you won’t be successful unless you spend a ton of money. It’s a scam. As soon as you build successful routes, they attack you with unfair bots. Sad...stay away.
Needs An Update
Air Tycoon is probably the most advanced tycoon I’ve ever used on my phone. All though there’s just one thing I’d like to point out; the year when the Boeing 737-7,-8,-9,-7F,-9F come out is in accurate. I’ll give this five stars once it’s updated.
Bug
Very good game except there is a bug with the new update where the game crashes once pressing the icon. It loads the tradegame icon, then screen turns black, and exits the app. For every time I successfully open it, the number of times it crashes will increase by one, in other words, it takes 2 tries to get in the first time, then the next time I open the app, it takes 3.
A bit confusing
I was playing online with my base set up in Toronto, I was maxing out the amount of flights scheduled from that city for my flights, until the game decided to stop letting me request slots for planes at 191 slots in total. Why would you put a limit to amount of slots to request. (The airport was lvl. 4 and had a lot more space. From, A very confused customer
Great game, but needs some more.
Hello Tradegame, I really love your game but some new features should be added and some more should be changed. -Aircraft Your planes in the game are really good but some of the pricing is not accurate. For example, the F-28 in your game costs $24M, but the real one only costs $12M. Also, I would like a feature that allows old passenger planes to be converted into cargo planes. Another thing you should add is with the engines. For example, you should add a feature that allows a DC-8-60 to be converted into a DC-8-70 as they were in real life. As well, you should add ER and LR variants to planes, e.g. 737-900? What if you want the -900ER? It isn’t there. My last thing is that you should add landing gear to planes. Does a 747 really float 3m off the ground? Finally, when changing your livery, please give an option to actually put you company name on your planes. -Airport scene When you click on an airport to see it, you should change the planes that just sit at a gate. Could you please add a feature that lets the jetways be connected to the planes? That would be nice. Ground equipment would be fun too. Also, please get rid off the big splotches on the ground where you can put cargo storage. Just leave it blank. Same with the fuel tank area. Also, can you add a feature where you can actually use the hangars? Like for maintenance or something. Finally, please add runway numbers. -Mega Airline Can you please add a limit on how big an airline can be? Because some airlines are enormous and they have almost every route in the world.p, and it is impossible to start up a new route often because there is too much competition. -New Planes Also can you add some new aircraft? These should be added: -Tu-144 -Yak-40 -An-24 (passenger) -DC-6/7 -MD-10 All in all, your game is great. I would love it even more if you just added these features though. Thanks! -HiMan36

I love this game. However, I think that these features could be added / improved on: -Add the ability to put your airline’s name on the side of your aircraft and be able to put CARGO on the side of the cargo aircraft (So like Example Air Cargo). -Have aircraft actually pull up to the cargo facilities. -Make it so that planes have wheels and prop planes actually have their props spinning. Overall it’s a great game though!
Ok
The game is great in the beginning, but very soon you get to a point were there is to much micromanagement. Also, the time to buy planes and slots become very long. (This is a very bad combination). At this point I have quit the game. The base ideas behind the game are very good.
Great game killed by in app purchase shortcuts
I've spent quite a lot of time with this game and must say that it's a very good management simulation. All of the ingredients are there, and building your virtual airline can be challenging if you don't plan carefully. There are economic downturns that can ruin you very quickly if you run your finances on the edge, and careful management of your fleet is needed if you don't want to end up with tired old planes with low passenger satisfaction in the middle of the game. All of the above and the challenge of playing against others online are what make it a great 5 star game, however this is also what ruins it and brings it down to 3. The game gives you a token amount of credits at the beginning and some more as rewards for completing objectives as it progresses, but it offers a large amount of credits for those that play through an entire simulation which takes well over a month, and awards them based on their finishing position to take them on to the next game. You also of course have the option of buying them through in App purchases. These credits can be used for extra cash and are required for purchasing items like maintenance facilities and fuel storage tanks, but you need large amounts to purchase additional aircraft ordering slots (you're limited to 5 for each slot) and for buying Airports and this is the part that kills it. All of the top ranking players that play through or choose to 'pay to win' buy up the major airports that attract the most flights and can then run their own fleets at break even prices putting anyone flying into these airports at an immediate disadvantage. As the game progresses, this becomes more and more of a challenge until you can no longer compete and have to shut down those routes leaving them with a monopoly and you with only the low demand routes. In my last game for example with only the starting credits I ranked in the top 10 for net worth, passengers carried and cargo carried from close to the beginning all the way up until about 2/3 of the way through, until I faced increasing competition on all of the high value routes with other players running their flights at break even prices. When checking out these other players, many of them only had around 50 flights into their owned airports, whereas I was operating well over 500 flights globally with careful planning to only fly from where I had my facilities to minimise my operating expenses. At this point I was consistently making only small amounts of profit and had to shut down the popular routes as they were costing me money to operate and it left me as a small 'regional airline' operating out of small airports and slipping down the leaderboards. I understand the need for game developers to make money, but the whole pay to win with in app purchases is killing off what is fundamentally a great game. In summary, stick to AirTycoon 4 and play offline unless you're prepared to play through a couple of times at a major disadvantage, or are willing to buy the in app purchases.
