Cocoon doesn’t open
My three year old has done everything on the game and now the caterpillar is stuck in the cocoon. The swipe action doesn’t work and the cocoon piece continues bouncing up and down instead of coming off. Disappointing.
Very cute but it needs to add this to the game……
I love this so much I play it when I am stressed or angry or sad.it is even better that Roblox if you know what it is.i give it 5 star,my family loves this game so much that they are so happy with the game, also the game is very calming, and one more thing would you plz put Axolotl in plz search it up to know about the Axolotl anyways I never seen a game with a Axolotl before just plz put in the game if it is to hard then i understand 😔🥺plz just plz I will play it every day plz😔
It is OK
I wish there was something else to do, but it’s fun but kind of boring
AWESOME AS HECK
Dude, bought this for my 4 y.o and he loved it, he made sure the caterpillar ate plenty of food and let the caterpillar play with a ball, he always rolls in laughter every time a weird physics glitch would happen of the caterpillar has 1 balloon and the beach ball would get on top of the balloon so the caterpillar frantically dances trying to catch it, would let him play so much with it☺️
No sound
Sound does not work
Awesome just awesome!!!💗💗💝
…!!! no crashes this is the best game ……I’ve ever played!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,!!!!!!!,!…but the game wasn’t there the next day …… I really think it’s my dad………
Y’all ruined it
I remember I use to play this game all the time when I was younger why do I have to buy everything now?? Everything was free before now I can’t even put my caterpillar on the boat or nothing☹️
🤩
This game this is so fun in Kalapana calico rock right now. Yes it’s a sleepover. Happening my sister and my cousin. Hello hello hello hello hello hello hello hello pad that I just this is annoying inside is so annoying. Is you can eat it off the wall every day
Fun
Life of a cute little caterpillar evolving into a butterfly
1 star
Sorry it is not good it says unlocked everything you can’t do anything about it to make it worse 🤦♀️🤦♀️ you could do it before all you can do is feed and sleep 1 stare IT IS SO GARBAGE 🤦♀️
Unlock everything
The game is very fun but it has been partly ruined because it cost £5
Just it’s fine, but it’s bland
The guy I’m sorry I don’t have time to say the name the guy the guy sounds like the Peppa Pig person like today. Peppa Pig is going to go over a picnic like it’s just it’s just weird. I mean there’s nothing bad about it but it’s just boring like I play this and only can do is like cause I didn’t unlock plus yet. All you can do is like play with him. You can feed him you can, you can make plants go to the corner and do everything. It’s just kind of boring so I want something better so like whoever is like who like made this game like not the owner of like my hungry caterpillar the owner who linked with my hungry caterpillar to make this, I want to speak to them to make new games like yeah story toysstory toys to make new games
Cute :3
Wen I was 5 I loved this game the catarpillar is sooo cute and all the little details help you learn somthing like shapes and painting I’m 9 and I still play it thanks for this game
My favorite character
I loved the Very Hungry Caterpillar when I was in kindergarten
.
Used to be good until you had to pay for everything :(
Children’s App but can’t family share - 4 stars
So the app itself is great and entertains both my 5 1/2 year old AND 19 month old (it’s an old iPad used for educational apps only) yet once I’ve paid on one of their accounts for the full game, I’ve had to pay again for it on a second device. I’m aware family sharing is recent but it’s not that recent a concept as I’ve been able to “restore purchase” for another app on multiple devices across all our family’s accounts in another children’s game aimed at the same age group. Emailing a support team for a workaround is not going to cut it in this day and age. Catch up developers and it’d be a 5 star app.
Unable access paid version after purchase
I paid for the full version of the app so my children can access it on their iOS devices through family sharing, however it is not working. How do I fix this?
The problems
Ik everything used to be free but now I have to pay for most of it I remember playing this when I was 5-6 but now it’s just so sad to see everything cost money this is nostalagic though it’s just I loved the stuff when it was free
So good
It is a Clasic childhood book brought to life it really is fun interactive and a great way to get kids playing and the best part it’s all free
1 star
I hate this game now u ousted to be able to play with everything cuz it was free and now u haft to buy to play with it all
Stop asking for ratings!
I paid £5 to stop this game asking my, 3 year old to press buttons to continue, and then that was replaced with another button he needed help with - review the game!
Love but...
I love this game but you have too pay money too get the full game take out paying please
Toddler loves it!
My toddler(22 months) loves exploring the world, playing games and feeding the caterpillar. The app is beautiful, easy to navigate smooth and I enjoy how it remembers what you’ve done (eg, the artwork from the previous turn is displayed). Best of all there are no fights when it’s time to stop, we can just say good night to the caterpillar and see him again the next time we play!

OM GOSH HE IS SO CUTE!!!!! MY MOM BOUGHT EVERYTHING ON MAY 7, 2026!!!!
Bring back the android toy
My daughter loves this game, her favorite part was the little android robot. It suddenly disappeared. Bring it back please!!
Family sharing?
My children (4 and 7) both enjoy this app but it doesn’t seem to support family sharing (correct me if I’m wrong). Having paid for access to everything I’m loathed to pay another two times so my children have full access on their devices. Please add family sharing compatibility.
Fun app but “unlock” feature doesn’t transfer…
My son LOVES the hungry caterpillar!! So when I found this app he was thrilled. He’s played with it for months now, and I finally paid the extra fee to unlock the extra features. We have family sharing so I assumed this would transfer to my phone so he’d have the unlimited access on both the iPad and phone. Unfortunately the app doesn’t support this. But I refuse to pay another fee. If they would simply add a login feature so his game could transfer to any device that would be beneficial. Until then my rating will stay at 3 stars.
i love this game so much
i remember when i had this game, i really wanna get it again, I LOVE THE HUNGRY CATERPILLAR, it’s so nostalgic!!!<3
Not worth the price.
Don’t bother. Zero value.
Fun and sweet..but
This game is very fun and relaxing but there is certain parts that you have to pay for to gain access to i feel like you should unlock these parts after you have turned __ amount of caterpillars into butter flys you can pay to speed this up but you don’t have to-please take this feedback into consideration:)
No restore purchase
Ince Deleted accidentally, no access for the paid content: no refund either! Think do you want to pay the risk of loosing your money?
The Very Hungry Caterpillar
Released on April 17 2013
Subscription model prohibitively expensive
Very limited features in the trail version, Would be happy to pay a one off price but don’t see value in the current model
Very nice! Bit of confusion
I absolutely love this game but I’m wondering on how to restore my purchase? Could I have soon feedback please (By restoring my purchase, I basically mean un-buying it)
Unable to restore purchase
My child loves this app but You cant restore purchase (there is an option but an error occurs) so if you want it on another device within family sharing or you delete the app and want it back you’ve got to pay to unlock all features again. Looks like others have reported this for up to a year and the developer hasn’t resolved it. I’ve flagged to Apple and requested a refund
Very good game
It’s a very good game
£5 down the drain
Previously purchased the full version for £5, came back to the app to use it a few months later and can’t restore my purchase. It seems from other reviews this error has been around for a long time with no resolution. No I am not emailing your support email for an issue you are already aware of and should have fixed. In short- fun app for kids but don’t waste your money as you will lose it. Poor support from the developer when you have given your money over.
Good
So thing game is good my four year old loves I recommend pack is scam not worth it

i like this game
this game is cute i remember when i play my very hungey caterpillar
Won’t restore purchase
Bought the full version as my son loves the game. Reinstalled and now everything is locked again. Restoring purchase and attempting to re buy the full version result in an error message. Google results show others have had similar experiences. Very upsetting. Otherwise wonderful game.
Great but...
Can’t find the boat or duck pond!!
Good game. No boat though?
Downloaded this game for my 2yo on her Ipad, she loves it so we decided to pay for the full version. Unfortunately we cant seem to work out where the boat is which was one of the main things my little girl wanted however she loves it.
