No more watch app
This was great until they removed it from the watch. I cannot use this on my watch anymore.
Suggestion: Custom Ringtones for Astronomical Event Alerts
Very useful app for tracking astronomical events. It would be even better if I could use my purchased ringtones as alert sounds within the app.
Unfortunately not working on Apple Watch anymore
The current update might have fixed issues with Watch OS 27, however, despite several reinstalls and even resetting the watch, the app does not work anymore ☹️.
Too Small for a standard size iPad
Great idea however on my standard size iPad the circular graph/diagram is too small and text overlaps too see easily. It is nothing like the preview in the App Store
I use this everyday!
Love this app! The visuals, the notifications! I honor the sunrise and sunset with a prayerful nod, and this app is perfect for notifiying me for that. Same with New Moons and Full Moons, easy to honor with the notifications. Also love looking how much time I have left for outdoor activities- how much longer will it be light outside. Even how much light is left to take the trash out to the curb. Yes, I actually have checked for that, lol! Honoring the natural cycles of days and nights, full moons, new moons, equinoxes, solstices, all made easy with this app!
Watch apps
I paid to have the watch apps and now it was removed so I can more to get the watch app back. This is very disappointing as I used this everyday and it was great.
Doesn’t work!
Doesn’t work on Apple Watch with latest update
Alerts don’t update!
Sadly! Alerts don’t update when you look ahead in the future. They work on the day itself!
Failed on iPad
Love it on my phone and watch but it doesn’t work correctly on my iPad.
Late walkers, attend!
I love this app and use it frequently since my second walk of the day is usually right before sunset and it is good to know how much light I have left for walking. Also good to know the other end since I am walking early as well. Love the format too. BExcellent!
Wrong
Does not give accurate solar time
Not great in mountains
This is a nice app, but does not take into account locations with mountains. Where I am at, the sun is just coming up over the mountains, but the app says it was 28 minutes ago. PeakFinder does a much better job.
Too expensive
I really liked this app and enjoyed having the widget on my home page, but after 3 days the widget is disabled and they want a payment of nearly $20 to keep the widget active. In my opinion this is far too much to ask for such a simple widget. I have deleted the app.
Wish it worked on an iPad
It sort of works on an iPad, sometimes, occasionally, usually it doesn’t display correctly. It really should be made to work in iPadOS.
I love this app
I find this app to be accurate and pretty useful. I’m thankful to have access to it.
Doesn’t Work on Apple WatchOS 26.5
Does not work on Apple WatchOS 26.5 since latest update of the Sundial app.
Great Solar Lunar App ✨
Have always trusted this app for timely notifications & solar/lunar transits. The only issue that this app keeps running into, is that every 4-5 months, my astronomical rise/dusk transits/notifications all disappear within widgets,in app, or via notification. This is a common reoccurrence within IOS updates, & unsure of why it gets discontinued for unknown reason. Please reinstate the astronomical transits within widgets, app & nofifications. I have IOS 17.5.1. Would be well appreciated! Thanks!

App particolare
App carina ma troppo costoso sbloccare le funzioni che la rendono tale e che spariscono dopo 3 giorni. Qualcosa avrei pagato, sicuramente molto meno di 15€! Peccato
Thank you
7 years and going with excellent service 👍👍👍👍👍
Actually there is no free trial at all
Downloaded this app this afternoon and tried to set it up just before going to bed. It said: “Sundial Extras Trial Ended Your 3 day trial of Sundial Extras and unlimited Sundial alerts has ended. If you would like to enable or create a new alert, please unlock Sundial Extras.” They want $ for me to try the app, lol. Nah, I’m good. Deleted.
Crashing
Good app! I like it, but it crashes a lot of times sadly :(
Su Watch solo a pagamento
..
Hope for other languages
Nice app. But I hope for translation soon.
Awesome

PAY FOR THE SUN????
HOW COULD A MF THINK TO PAYWALL THE SUN. Pay me 20 bucks and ill text you when I see a cloud outside.
Good app
Have purchased the full version and overall an excellent application....my only gripe is that moon postion is not visible on the apple watch widget.
Widgets randomly changing locations
It was working flawlessly all these months, until today when decided to check out the ‘advanced’ features. I set up a widget. -> update frequency = “significant location changes only”. -> My location mode = “always”. -> Time zone for current location = “based on GPS”. I’ve noticed that the widget randomly struggles to pick on the location and even when it does pick, its about 30 mins behind my actual time. The issue fixes itself after I open the app, but I have to open the app every time to fix it. Basically the widget time isn’t accurate if the app isn’t open in the background.

A Life Changing App
This App is fantastic and trustworthy and thus informative. Sundail is a must have for those who are interested in earth's biggest neighbor - ENJOY this 🈸
Used to be free
Some years ago this app allowed notifications in the free version. Not anymore. Useless.
Très jolie mais en anglais
Très jolie application.. Beaucoup de notifications possibles mais tout est en anglais 😂 Une traduction en français donnerait 5 étoiles ⭐️
Weird update
In the recent update there has been added a new paywall which makes previously free actions gates behind a premium membership.
Best app
I liked this much and is better than others
Great app
More information than I knew existed. Always getting updated.
I want my money back
I shelled out $15 for this app so I could its complications to my Apple Watch. It was advertised that I could add complications to my Apple Watch if I paid for the app. That seems to have been a false statement. This doesn’t appear to be compatible with my Apple Watch. Frustrating.
Moon rise
Just as full moon is given status of a significant event, new moon also can be given the similar status for interest of users of Lunar Calendar.
needs work
• "Close" and "+" buttons disappear after editing or adding an alert; only way to get back to opening/main display is to kill app and reopen it • descriptions of solar and lunar noon use "it's" when it should be "its" ("it's" is short for "it is" or "it has", whereas "its" is a possessive determiner AKA possessive adjective along with "my", "your", "his", "her", "our", and "their") • not possible to set an alert for when the sun or moon is at a certain (ideally user-specifiable) angle above/below the horizon, e.g. 0°, 45°, 15°, 22.5°, 33.75°, –18° (one application of this would be to indicate when it has ceased to be or become safe to be outside without sun protection) • not possible to turn on/off correction for atmospheric refraction
Bit disappointed.
Bit disappointed really, started using the app earlier this year and loved it! Except now you’ve added a premium feature which is fine for those who want to access all the new bells and whistles, but now I can’t even do the things I was already doing with out signing up... most annoying thing is alert limits. I can only have ONE now unless I switch to premium? Atleast let us have 2 or 3. Bit ridiculous tbh.
Awesome
The best app of its type that is out there.
Scam
You guys keep deleting my review. As someone below mentioned they bait you with free customizations and then you have the widget on your lock screen for a day before it disappears and the app tries to force a subscription. I kept this app on my phone so I could write a review & come to an understanding with the developers but it seems they would prefer to keep scamming people and deleting honest ratings of their app.
Simple and beautiful
This app is gorgeous! I would love the ability to be notified about new moons as well as full ones, but other than that, no complaints.
Notifications bug
It looks like there’s a bug in notification. Today the sun is supposed to set up at 1920 but I get a notification that it sets at 2014. Is this related to daylight savings time? Or is this another bug. The suns rise and zenith notifications time off as well. Is this bug related to changing time zones?
Worth every penny!
I use the alarms daily for two hours before solar noon, solar noon itself, and ten minutes before sunset. I wouldn’t be without it! There’s no other app that will do what I need.
Disappointing
Watch app doesn't recognise I've purchased full version despite hitting "restore purchases". Not confident it's calculating times for the location I've chosen. Don't know why it needs my location when I have it showing all times for a different location. Alerted me for nautical dawn over an hour early, while telling me something close to correct time In the app. Developer unresponsive. Apple refuses refund. Program doesn't function. Don't buy this app.
Internet Connection
If an internet connection is not required to calculate info, why does the app pester you to turn location services and notifications on ?? My iPad doesn't leave the property. I think you ARE on-selling the data you are harvesting. Why not have the ability to enter a lat & long ??
