Description
In Bitterveld, the main character, an 'Everyman', travels on the subway through Berlin: visiting the monuments and memorial sites and museums, while observing the other passengers and thinking about the meaning of it all here and now.
Bitterveld is an interactive book. It is build as a network of stories that cross and intersect with each other. In this network it is possible to follow a certain storyline from beginning till end. You can also change direction and hop on a different subway/storyline, and therewith create new perspectives on the (his)tory of Berlin. In this way Bitterveld creates a virtual space to reflect on and remember the history of Berlin during World War II.
