I love this game and always find my self coming back to it. Once again, I’ve become addicted. I believe that fixing some of these small issue’s will evoke happiness in all of us old Dasher’s souls, and provide us with a better gaming experience. The issues: - I was unable to make purchases(the game does not attempt to charge my account) - Using ads to revive in game does not pause the the timer, and results in a game over during the ad. - Clicking on a boss chest before the transition phase between stages allows you to watch the chest ad during that time. Clicking the “watch ad” button sometimes triggers a forced ad, which overtakes the reward ad, making it disappear. - Some items/weapons contain descriptions like “treasure hunt”. I can’t figure out exactly what they do. I also cant figure out what triggers auto effects like “auto doom”. Is it does it activate when you take damage, when you deal damage, when you swing your sword? Can these effects chain off of other effects? The mysteries in this game are very hard for the average mobile gamer to uncover alone. And with the lack of help from our aging community, I feel that both new and returning players would highly appreciate some hints or descriptions for these effects being added to the game. I absolutely understand that this is an older game and may be far removed from any agendas. Especially knowing the fact that there is a sequel. That being said, i plead with you to help us further enjoy our favorite old game!

I loved the game until my purchases stopped being honored. They take my money but never give me anything!

Forced ads in 2024? No thank you not worth my time, especially when you can only pay a weekly subscription for $5 to get rid of them, like I'll gladly pay $20 to remove them permanently but no I am not giving you $20 a month to get rid of ads
Adapting to the new screen design
I know this review is quite late seeing that the game is quite old but I have a newer iphone and would like it if there was a way to bring the coins and other things at the top of my screen down because I cannot see the coin amount during a run or in the homescreen because of the tab that drops down on the newer iPhones, I also have my buttons like settings which are up there half of screen. I love the game and would really hope that you can potentially update the graphics to fit the newer screens. Or if there is already and I just missed it please point it out. Thanks!
Not bad BUT
I’m not down with watching ads to continue progress only to die DURING the ad. Outside of that, it’s an interesting game. Monetization is what you expect from a mobile game. Not that it’s a good thing, just expect the typical garbage. A 4$ weekly VIP subscription along with your typical store packs ranging in price and “value”. Of course they sell gear and all assortment of other items. Gameplay is decent and actually enjoyed it but was sullied once I started dying during ads. The game is almost objectively not worth paying 4$ a week to remove ads to stop this from happening. If this gets resolved and maybe make a 5$ per month then I would feel a lot differently about this game.

Half the time you aren’t rewarded for watching your ads. Sometimes even after watching 7 optional ads in a row, the second you skip one, it plays an ad anyways. Fun game I guess

Revive and Screen size
On Iphone 12 because of the screen shape the top middle doesnt show so you cant see the boss health or how much gold you have ect. Put in an option to adjust screen size for Iphones. When you watch an ad to “Continue” after you died the game doesnt pause until the ad is finished and you just die in the background while the ad is still playing and you cant exit out in time to save yourself making watching ads to continue absolutely pointless.
Purchased vip and benefits don’t work
I’ve purchased vip now for 2 weeks and the benefits have yet to still work I would like to be reimbursed for this thanks as it was a waste of $10 of mine apparently as well as my vip benefits to work
Great Game, ads ruin it
I’m not gonna complain about the ads in the way you might think a player might. I watch ads whenever I can to use the chests and it’s fine, I understand it. However, I experience so many glitches relating to ads and those ad chests. Whenever I click on an ad chest I get after a boss, I will be brought to an ad in between the zones I’m currently in. This will softlock me or kill me. Sometimes after a revive ad, the ad won’t register and I’ll be forced to watch the whole ad or swipe out of the app. I love this game but please bring back the option to buy no ads😫
Amazing
I used to play this game for hours and hours it is one of my all time favorite games and to this day I still am grinding to get stronger thank you very much for creating this masterpiece called dash quest.

The game is really nice and cool but sometimes when you change maps or location you get a add but the game keeps going while I can’t do nothing cause I need to wait 30 seconds and then I die losing all the distance I ran using loads of items
Ads in endless run
Now I don’t really have a problem with ads, but while I’m in endless run an ad pops up. However the game does not pause, so I die while I can’t do anything about it. the game is fun and that is the only complaint I have

Bugs??
I honestly don’t know what happened, but the early stages of the game had the boss’ bar/health meter always there and the distance traveled, but now they just seem to disappear while playing. Leaving you to wonder how much hp the boss has left or how much further you have to go. It’s still great, but the hp and the distance thing bugs me.

Advertisement bug!
The ads pop up each level without pausing the game! I die every time even if I pause before the next level. I can literally hear my hero getting pummeled while I’m FORCED to watch content I don’t care about! I’ve played this game for 3 years & enjoyed every moment until now. Fix it & I’ll update my review! Update 10-12-20: 1 Month later and the bug is still causing me to lose after I defeat any stage boss.
About the legend thing
So I played every dash quest games and so far I think this very first version has the best gaming experience and feels more comfortable, but this one thing is like pain in the ass and is totally artificial difficulty. Becoming a legend, aka restarting everything losing ur gold, and everything u upgrade with ur pet, so u get a extra permanent buff. So every time I reach the point I was like ehhhhh should I do it, it’s not worth it but I’m curios what the stat is, so after restarting 8 times, believe me or not, it really kills ur interest in this game, and if u don’t do it, trust me u feel guilty. Everything good but this feature, pain in the ass (made me deleted it)
Bugs
When u open a chest in game and dashes Grampa or something is there and u open the chest and that opens at the same time you lose all the progress and money and everything that u used to get there
I can’t get map!!!
This would be a five star review but I can’t get the map or level mode I beat the Koch and was on castle 3 and still don’t have level mode I’m stuck on playing infinite mode!!!!!!!(plz fix)
Good Game & Responsive Developers
This game is a fun progression runner with plentiful options for play styles. While some builds are better than others, you still have freedom to play how you like. Thank you to the developers, who despite probably having to maintain the sequel take time to consider suggestions for improvement. For example I sent in a report about the notch on iPhone X and later models interfering with the information layout in game, thank you for fixing the problem!
Great game, but bad bugs
Every time I try and watch a video to open a chest or revive during a run, the run doesn’t stop and my hero dies. Or if I’m trying to watch a add to revive, the timer runs out and it can’t continue the run. Very annoying.
Resolution fix please
Ok one of the updates patches it said it’s been fixed for newer iPhones but I have the iPhone 11 and some of the features are still cut out liable st the top. I can’t see how many coins I have, the bosses health, daily quests, and some other things. That’s why 4 stars
Angry
I played this game before the second game came out and loved it. Recently downloaded it again and I’m starting to get angry with how glitchy it is. Within the last 10 minutes I watched an add to get bonus loot. Didn’t get the loot. Watched an add to revive myself. Didn’t get the revive.
Info bug
So, I stopped playing this game for awhile and recently just got back into it, and whenever I come across a note or click on the graveyard to get the ghost pet, the text box comes up, but I can never exit out of it and continue, leading to me having to close the game to fix it, I love the game, but when I’m in the middle of a run and I get stopped by something that I should normally breeze through or can’t unlock the ghost because I can’t exit the speech box, there’s a problem

Charges money, but doesn’t give
I came back to this after a while only to find it still has the same issue as before. When legending, it will ask if you want to spend 5$ to double your legend points. It will gladly take your money, but provide you with no legend points. Wouldn’t be so upset if it weren’t actually stealing my money.
Great game but major bug
The game was good when it was older. So missing it I decided to redownload the game, but then I ran into a major bug. Whatever I did it caused it so that when I try to revive by watching an ad it wouldn’t display an ad and I would be stuck on the screen so I would need to quit. This also causes the quit text box to show up with the stats for after the run even if I just wanted to quit the run. I’ll change to 5 stars if this bug gets fixed
Ad block don’t work
I got the vip 3 day pack and it does not even work same thing in dash quest 2 I got 1 year no ads pack and it does not skip any ads what a wast of money oh and the massive xp boost gem did not even give me a level at level 48 did not even give 10k xp
Menu adjustments
I really enjoy playing this game. I’ve been playing for a few months now, but there is one issue that has been there for a while now, and that is certain menus failing to close. For example, since I’m playing on an iPad mini and I open up the in-app purchases menu, I can’t close that menu. When I click on that menu, I am forced to close and reopen the app. Another example is when I attempt to interact with the tent in story mode and “grandpa’s letter” comes up, there is no way to close it, you are stuck there forever unless you close the app. I really hope that these developers see this and fix it. This game is really great but this one problem is mildly infuriating.
Impossible to get ghost pet
have lantern, but always stuck at the sign. i always have to restart every time since i'm stuck at the sign (graveyard). Edit: Y'all got it fixed!! :)
Unbalanced
The daily dungeon is too difficult. I’ve been playing a week and still can’t get anywhere near close enough to earn even one treasure chest. The magic spells are really unbalanced. Cheap spells that cost 7 or 8mp can be recast faster and are more powerful than the most expensive spells that cost 50mp to use. It really takes all the fun out of the game when you spend forever grinding for gold only to realize the best spells are the cheapest ones you bought in the beginning. It defeats all reason for playing. The items in this game are really unbalanced, and there’s a high amount of redundancy among throwable items (bombs, axes, ninja stars, mega bombs, etc.- they all do about the same damage). Once again, the best items (regular bombs) are the least expensive (100 gold per unit) and can be powered up the most to outclass the most expensive items (axes cost 1500 gold per unit) (powering up bomb damage through upgrading a perk). And the absolute strongest items take a very high amount of grinding to acquire or sheer luck through treasure chests. The pet summons are all pretty much useless and provide little in the way of assistance during battle. Yet pet summons cost a lot of gold to buy and require a lot of exp grinding. I like that ads are optional and not forced on you, but the amount of ad offers is too frequent and often of no value. I’ll open a treasure chest and get 3 basic hp or mana potions if I watch an ad. Why? Those cost next to nothing lol. Gimme a hyper rare item for an ad or a stupid amount of gold.

Dragon problem
I love the game and all, but I cannot complete the last level of the story mode, whilst fighting the final boss he summons several monsters, dragons being one of them, when he summons the dragons they get stuck on a column in the castle where they can shoot fireballs without taking damage from the player which after a while turns into an infinite stream of fireballs, the block cool down is too slow to keep up with the stream of fireballs thus I die. This problem is frustrating due to the fact that it takes a while to get to the boss and that all of the items i’m using are getting wasted.
The purchase menu
When I enter the purchase menu I get stuck and there is no x or back button to get out of it. The game I really good but has a couple of bugs

So many issues
Screen doesn't flip in portrait mode. Charger cord is on bottom of iPad. Constantly pokes me or breaks charger. Lazy devs. Also the shop screen is too big for the iPad Pro and can't be closed. If you enter the $ shop you have to force quit the game and restart the app. Also holy crap the unskippable 30 second ads. And no way to purchase a no-add option? And if you're gonna ride the "pixel" trend at least make all the "pixels" the same size so it doesn't just look like you made a crappy flash game with low res graphics or something.

Doesn’t fit iPhone X
The iPhoneX has been out for 18 months now. There is zero excuse for any developer to have not scaled their app to fit that screen. I don’t care how fun the concept may be; if elements of gameplay are unavailable due to my device screen and Dev laziness, it’s a 1* game.
