Easy to use
I love clover it’s very easy to use and helps me navigate my business
Wish I could go back
I would not have upgraded if I’d known what a pain this would be. It keeps logging me out so I have to get a code partner where I used to stay logged into the phone app. It does this in spite of checking the option to stay logged in for 14 days.
New update
They took away the ease of use in reports. Now I have to navigate through a non-intuitive menu and type out the entire dates and times instead of the easy to use calendar I was using with them last week.

Occasionally the Clover device won’t link with our till, this is an issue when clubs busy.
Great all around
Clover go has great customer service the machines work. They are easy to use and intuitive. We have used three different providers in the past and this is the one we recommend we take a lot of credit cards over the phone so I need to have a low no swipe fee and I get that. I like 24 hour customer service and our customers like this system better which means they come back and they buy more.
Thieves
I canceled my Clover services in March. Clover instructed me to return all the hardware, which I did. I was then told that my services would be canceled. However, Clover continued charging me month after month even though I am no longer using its services and do not have any of its hardware. When I contacted customer service, I was told that my account was still active and that this was why they could continue charging me. I believe this is extremely unfair and misleading. If I followed their instructions, returned all the equipment, and was told the service would be canceled, I should not have continued to receive monthly charges. My experience with Clover’s customer service has been very disappointing. I would not recommend this company based on how my cancellation was handled. Be careful, keep records of all cancellation requests, and confirm in writing that your account has been fully closed before returning any equipment.

The fees are constantly changing. And you can only remind about an invoice one time, and no option to resend an invoice. I’ll be switching to something different soon.
Good but not great
After the recent updates, multiple reports like Discounts and Removed Items are not working on the app. Clover also has pretty constant outages that affect our business by causing orders to get lost or deleted when their servers are down.

Invoices search for repeat customers
On the invoices if you have a repeat customer and you have to send a invoice again it makes you re-enter their name last name and email again everything again like a new customer. I wish it had a search bar that you don’t have to keep entering the same information over and over when it’s a repeat customer, I understand a new-customer that you have to type it in for the first time But it doesn’t have the option with a search bar to look up, repeat customer. Other than that, the app works great and is very nicely done.
Always updating for the WORST
Every time the app updates they seem to mess up features and actually make it worse. Just leave it alone if you’re not improving things.
It has great potential
This is a great system for most businesses. I have requested an update that seems like it should be a no-brainer but still have not seen it and it’s been three years. We do a lot of pre-sales for dinners and we need to run check-in lists. You can run a sales report by item, but you have to click three more times to get to the point where it will show you who the customer is. I feel that could be so easily shown on the first screen. I love the new update or you can pay by phone with tap now, we of course just bought the Clover Go so that we could do it on the go. Luckily, there’s no monthly fee for that. The system gets glitchy where customers don’t show up in one system, but they show up in another system that doesn’t make sense to me, even though they sync perfectly most of the time. The other really big item is the fact that it will let you oversell. I have my settings correct telling it do not allow negative stock count and to automatically track inventory, it will still let me oversell a dinner if I have 100 tickets, I can sell 200 tickets and it does not say no inventory or out of stock or that I ran out. That means when we get close to being sold out, I have to watch it like a hawk.

MANUAL CARD ENTRY
typing in the card works fine until you get to the CVV. This opens the entire keyboard and when you press anything it picks a random number to add. Ridiculous bug, please fix asap! I will update my review
ALLOW EBT TRANSACTIONS
Majority of payments for my small business are using EBT chip cards and that would be the greatest feature this app could utilize. It would literally make my business run so much better. Please Clover, do everything you can to make it possible.
App won’t open
Ever since the update the app won’t open, I’ve installed and reinstalled numerous times. Stop updating the app so often with meaningless changes.

Such a great app but why do you mandate location sharing to use now? Why did you give in?

Unable to update image and show on kiosk toggle button unavailable
After the recent updates , unable to update the item inventory via the app . The show on kiosk toggle button and the image upload option is unavailable in the app . Earlier it was easy to update the image in the kiosk by using the app . Now we have to always use the web dashboard to upload. Also for each update on the kiosk, we have to rely on web dashboard and the clover to app doesn’t have the function shown . It’s hidden

I like the new update but you used to could add pictures to items in app and change prices on different menus in app. There are some glitches and bugs that need improvement
Missing “Online Ordering” Controls in Clover App After Update
Since the recent Clover update, the Online Ordering section has disappeared from the Business Operations settings in the mobile app. This section previously allowed me to remotely turn online ordering on or off, which is critical for how I manage my restaurant.

Truly a terrible app with so many bugs and glitches.
Performance issue with version 5.9
This version is slower than before and has loading issues while switching locations. Please fix.
Can’t use App on phone, it keeps asking for additional charges authorization.
When I open this app on my phone, it asks for additional charges authorization, I already pay monthly charges , I never can use the app on my phone. The other POS company that I use allows me to see transactions at shop even when I’m not at shop, with the other company, I can edit listings and do a lot from remote. Clover is only useful when I’m at shop. POS should be accessible on phone, and I shouldn’t need to pay extra for that.

The summary page gives incorrect totals, once you go into further details for that day it’s the correct figure of takings for that day but the summary pages is wrong. Big needs to be fixed as it’s misleading

Good app to be able to track what’s going on in store when not there. However after checking items, cannot go back to home page to see overall sales. Keeps tripping on a loop

Great app that still needs a bit of fine tuning, like 7 day totals at a glance for example. Clover system as a whole works well, but too pricey for what it is.

This app has given me all sorts of headaches. The latest one is that my passcode doesn’t allow logging in. Changed the passcode and still not working. I wouldn’t recommend!

Provides real time figures, but I am finding I have to refresh several times to get the right figures? We are closed Sundays but it records money taken, refresh and it is Saturdays money repeated. Refresh and Saturday and Sunday both blank! Refresh and nothing for Saturday but some randomly selected figure for Sunday... arghh
